- Interview with Paul Banks from Interpol done by Simon Kvamm from the Danish band Nephew. It also features short live clips of Evil and Slow Hands. It was recorded off DR2 on a Funai VHS machine back in 2005.
In all honesty I thought this interview was great! I mean the doode is basically hanging out with paul he's having a beer and a smoke with him, it be fantastic to hang out with an artist like that.
Fuck. I was at that show, one of the best concerts I've been to. I was 16 and going to the festival was my first time abroad without my parents. They were the epitome of cool. Dressed to the nines and in their own world. Paul said two things during the whole show "this is a crap guitar" and "thanks". We then clapped for what felt like 15 minutes before they came up for the encore, took one song and went straight off again. But it didn't feel disrespectful, it just felt Interpol.
Paul Banks is just amazing
hmm, this is literally the only interview ive seen where you get a vague picture of paul's political views...

Sometimes he's just got really big hands
Simon Kvamm from the over-rated Danish band Nephew makes a complete fool out of himself: "This is the best album I've run over for several years"
Martin Gronemann he obviously hasn’t heard all the other Interpol records
AWKARD
The interviewer is mega-awkward but Paul seems pretty relaxed and open. :)
Most unprofessional interview EVER
And thats what made it so amazing
The interviewer SUCKS (he acts like he is constipated) but somehow he got Paul to open up. Go figure.
lol this doesnt make any sense..
