Nah, my love for Carlos was at its all-time low by the time they did this interview, he seemed so full of himself; the guy that's doing the interview is really nice, he was so excited about Interpol's visit to Latin A... D really disappointed me when I watched this for the first time.
I’m a giant Interpol fan, have been since the beginning. And I’ve been in denial about this because others have said it for a while, but now, his voice has changed. Definitely not like it used to be, but he’s 40 and smoking has likely contributed. Everyone’s voice changes as they age, but his is noticeable. Doesn’t make me love them any less, and they are still an amazing live show. He’s human. Just makes him more endearing 🤷🏻♀️
@mevi 88 is right. I've seen Interpol live many times and watch most of their performances online and Paul's voice has declined over the years. It's a damn shame he didn't take better care of it, especially considering that he's not the greatest vocalist to begin with. Still adore them and the uniqueness that is Interpol.
