I watched them live in Toronto during the “Turn On the Bright Lights” tour. After hearing them play “Untitled” live, I was hooked. Once they took the stage, Paul would step up to the mic like a cool cat and proclaim, “Hi we’re Interpol” and proceed to rock out.
I wore the Nirvana smiley X t-shirt seeing Interpol at Sala Apolo in Barcelona May 2015. I stood at the gallery pretty visible and I remember Paul looking up and smiling a lot. Makes sense now!
I don't go to many concerts, but I make an exception for this band. If you ever get a chance to see them live you will be delighted. Their style- audio and visual is sort of this very simple elegance with a healthy dose of weirdo. The bands essence/vibe reminds me of a 1970s Lauren Hutton. They are the Lauren Huttons of rock.
Saw you guys at Like Heaven Fest. Amazing, so talented live! Can’t wait to see y’all in Seattle too. Love that song Toni and was so glad you played Not Even in Jail
Saw them at o2 Kentish Town Forum for my birthday! One of my favourite gigs. If you haven't seen them live, you HAVE TO!! It took me 15 years and I regret not going sooner!
The problem is they never rlly liked Carlos in the first place. Apparently he wasn’t the best band mate despite being a good bassist. They’re probably happier without him.
It's too bad the front man is throwing up his gang signs. I love the music for what it is, glorification of debauchery, but, he's serving someone. Kind of makes you wonder.
??? the music and their presence is so special and sufficient on its own. The fact that they are not showboat-y just adds their allure although people who are very interactive are good too.

Saw them on the same tour - very small venue - the bass left my ears ringing for days - may even have permanent tinnitus- totally worth it
