The fact that Paul works on music after his concerts to "wind down" shows his extreme commitment to his craft, he is a true artist to the core.
I adore him as a musician but even more I admire him as a person. Even if I've never met him you can tell when someone's honest

“Interpol” is one of my favourite bands. They made modern music way better.
Paul is such a cool dude
Watching this never gets old. Watching someone who loves music that much is always inspiring. I don't even know how many years I've been a fan but it's been close to half my life. I think I was around 22 when they first hit the scene. I'm almost 46 and I still get goosebumps when I hear him sing live. I hope to see him or Interpol one more time.
This is a great video- more emotion than I've seen out of Paul in all the (up-till-now) Interpol years combined. He has a great personality, it's cool to see him open up a bit and smile. The part I appreciated most was when he said composing music, without a deadline, makes him as happy as anything. And how he wanted the fans to know he took it all seriously. I think that's one of the reasons his (and Interpol's) fans are so loyal, his/their rare artistic integrity.
This guy is a hero to this genre of music.
Paul I get you and will respond to every genius verse coming out of your mouth. Honoured to listen to you, you beautifully talented humanoid.

It is sort of rude, Interpol is a part of his life, and there is a fine line. I'm sure he doesn't mind talking about Interpol a bit, it's inevitable, just give his solo career the respect it deserves, and make the conversation mostly about his new solo album.

I have only love and support for Paul and all of his musical projects , he's very down to earth and cares deeply about his creative endeavors as well as the people involved. I think that he's a great example for people that don't have a hold on their pride and ego. Every interview I've seen with him proves it.

I wonder who is talking in the madrid song. Like when Paul's stops singing and someone starts speaking. It is an awesome song just wonder whk that person is.
I also have to add that NWA were really big with goths in the early 90s and no one really knows that so I get where Paul is coming from with that love. I use to roll with my really hardcore goth mates blasting Straight Outta and that confused a LOT of people. I can't really explain it, I suppose it's just angry outsider energy.

Not had much dealings with Interpol myself knew an emi guy he died though, I'm labelling this guy as new David Bowie soundings! I like him he's a hard worker it shows.
