This particular player is missing so many scenes here it's not even funny anymore especially within the silo stage which is totally a bearstado on veteran mode that's for sure
This was Literally the first COD I've ever played. It's also the one responsible for getting into the franchise. Used to play this at my cousins house all the time on her 360 before I got mine a year later. I was only 10. The Memories man. Good Times 😊
I played this one to death. The Gerrand is a great rifle once you get the hang of it and there's that strangely satisfying 'ping' when it runs out of ammo! I still go back once and a while and give jerry a pasting lol.
Simon John Hinton Oh yea the gerrand is one of my favorite guns in any game. I agree with the satisfaction of the "ping". Certainly the signature sound to an awesome weapon.
the words call of duty have nothing to do with the newer games. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of them but it could just be black ops 3, instead of a call of duty title. The meaning of the title call of duty ended in mw3. Im not saying the new games are bad, I'm saying doesn't call of duty sound like a game where it would be more realistic, modern, or world war 2, or 1 kind of idea? thats why I say it ended in mw3 it changed.
my first call of dutys was finest hour and I fucking bursted out crying because Activision does not give a fuck about its fans and nor cares about the money and we need a better grahics engine I am glad battlefield 1 is WW1 because I always wanted one aswel so that's made me very happy
Actually found this game a few days ago while cleaning the garage. Haven't played the game in almost nine years, imagine my surprise! When I was done with the garage I promptly installed this game on the PC. Yes, it installs and runs just fine on 64bit Windows 7, but you have to run the installer directly using the setup.exe from the DVD, not from the Autorun. For such an old title, CoD2 holds up remarkably well, and it runs smoothly at full settings without effort on my current rig (as it should, lol). Previously, it struggled a bit on the old machine years ago even with some settings scaled back. My, how we've advanced...
I know what you mean. My current PC overheated running CoD 2 few days ago since Singleplayer has no FPS lock, so my framerate was in the 8000s, which ultimately resulted my Mobo going failsafe and shutting down. I now put an FPS lock to 100 from command prompt, so no more shenanigans. All cods after 2 started using the 91 fps lock, which I believe is a smart feature since high end PCs today will overwork themselves to death. I have AMD 8350 4.2ghz and 290 vapox tri-x oc (faster than 290x), and my was i scared shitless when i fired up fraps and saw the 4 digit number on top left corner. I remember back in 2005 when I was 11 years old my PC barely could run DX7 all settings on low-medium. Now my problem is not low fps, but high fps.
The first cod I ever played, I was 4, I got my first Xbox for my birthday and this game came with it, brings back so many memories, I wish I was a kid again
I love your content so much! Brings back memories, I've spread the word about your channel. I request that you do Call of Duty: Finest Hour please! Keep it up!
Thanks so much! I will certainly consider it. The problem is that I don't have that game anymore, so I would need to search around and find it. Thanks so much for the suggestion!
Yeah no problem! I hope you get it! I'd love to see that game, that was my first FPS along with many of my friends. Anyway keep it up Ill keep spreading the word
Gamematics can you play a game called contract wars it is a multiplayer game it is on Pc it is free but you can buy guns in it please play it . Nice vids by the way I enjoy watch your movies.
The Soviet campaign of 1941 intro doesn't state the fact that in Sept 1939 Hitler and Stalin were allies and both invaded Poland, and that the Soviets also conquered the Baltic states, and tried to conquer eastern Finland. As much as I like these CoD vids, the Soviet battle vids make the Soviets look like poor victims of Nazi aggression, while leaving out the fact that Stalin implemented genocide against millions of Soviet citizens in the 1930s, well before Hitler began his warmongering.
This was my first call of duty game I bought in 2005. After playing this, I knew that CoD and Infinity Ward were going to completely change the fps industry.
+Jack Thomas actually...COD1 and the expansion pack United Offensive, COD finest hour, COD 2, COD 2 Big Red One, COD 3, COD Roads to Victory and COD World at War where the WW2 based games.
I haven't played a COD since MW3. I'm so glad they are going back to WW2. I may just have to buy a used 360 and play this one again before COD WWII comes out. I loved this game. I wish Infinity Ward was still making these games.
Sorry ..forgot to mention what happened to the sound during the credits ? Total silence til the end after last newsreel footage 1:53:46 to 2:02:36 Shame as it was great all the way through [ helped me with my Ost playlist [ appearance order ] Oh well - human error
GA. Luigi Yea looking back at the classics...it almost hurts sometimes to see what is out now. I am an original SOCOM fan....I have been hurting for a long time. lol
The people who made the cod games should go back to their roots man. Fuck trying to give me a headache with the realistic graphics and just write a good story with simple gameplay. I don't want to destroy parts of the planet with a satellite don't even care about waves of zambies. I was actually interested in the storyline in this game and it didn't feel like i was just walking to the next cool thing to look at or cutscene where i have press r2 and l2 to survive. It was REAL man..Like the scene at 10:41 just felt like you accomplished something. It didn't have a giant nuke dropping on it with a bunch of asdrfef explosions around it incinerating nazis. It felt right, it wasn't too emotional and you felt like you had a hand in it. The voice acting in cod 2 is human and funny at times. Your buddies aren't invincible and die all the time, giving you the feeling that shits going down and you aren't a squad of super humans who regenerate like aliens. It's just a dam good game thanks for uploading this man I forgot how good this game was. Also how about instead of more ghosts and advanced bullshit how about the next game they go back to realism. You get to play as an iraqi soldier or even an isis terrorist. That shit would be cool i think, on the losing side of a war. many lost comrades and a pure hatred of america. Or a private from america or a soldier from iran just in the thick of shit. idk just a thought OR OR a game on vietnam apocalypse now/ platoon style. The movies story alone could make a dam good game imo.
+DrePodcastToday "I was actually interested in the storyline". What storyline? You fight WWII alongside a lot of US troops, yes. But how many of them are in multiple missions? Braeburn, McCloskey, Randall. How many of them have personalities? None, they all have the occasional line of dialogue here and there but other than that, they're generic soldiers like the rest of the soldiers with randomly generated names. "Your buddies aren't invincible and die all the time". That has never been true in a Call of Duty game. In every single Call of Duty game, the main characters have plot armour. No character in the player's squad dies unless it's scripted to happen. "shits going down and you aren't a squad of super humans who regenerate like aliens." Shit does go down, it's WWII. Shit goes down in all the other Call of Duty games as well. However, you are a squad of super humans, McCloskey, Braeburn and Randall all have god mode, and Taylor "regenerates like an alien". "next game they go back to realism." Call of Duty has never been realistic. You fight alongside soldiers who have plot armour, you have regenerative health, once a soldier has been killed they will be replaced almost instantly, as if there's an entire platoon at the back of the battle who are just sending a new soldier every time one dies. "That shit would be cool i think, on the losing side of a war." In Call of Duty: Ghosts you play in a time where a group of South American countries have formed a faction known as the Federation, who are beating the US in the war. You play as elite US soldiers who have to fight because the US is severely underpowered compared to the Federation. You were on the losing side of the war, and look at how Ghosts was received by the general public. "how about instead of more ghosts and advanced bullshit" If you're referring to Ghosts and Advanced Warfare, then you used incorrect grammar. If you're not talking specifically about Ghosts and Advanced Warfare, then there have never been ghosts in Call of Duty. As for advanced bullshit, what's so bad about it? Most of it's not that bad, Black Ops II showed what can happen when your entire military is AI controlled. Advanced Warfare showed what can happen when a PMC becomes more advanced and successful than a national military. And Black Ops III, well I haven't finished that so I can't really answer that one. Either, you're playing up the WWII Call of Duty games to help you bullshit your point across, or you really want a realistic WWII game, in which case I recommend Red Orchestra 2/Rising Storm Multiplayer. It's currently £4.99 on Steam until January 4th.
I had a big post, but I accidentally lost it. I'll make it short and sweet. I feel story telling is more important than just the multiplayer in games. I don't need a war simulator I just want something that's relatable in modern times or at least some-what historically accurate or just accurate in general. I'm tired of this "we might lose" scenario, but your running around with super soldiers and unlimited resources. A game that refers to a real war that's still going in Iraq would make for great story-telling, because you could even hear some stories from real vets and foot-soldiers who lived through those horrors. Educating kids that real war isn't all bunny hopping and murderous rampages. There are losses and two sides to a story. It might make COD fans more human in the process and would gain respect from even the battlefield fans w/ a good story. What set the other games apart from the second call of duty was that your platoon wasn't unlimited in some parts and a few died that I really wanted to save. They weren't important to the story, just were interesting and there personality or background made me sad to see them get shot down. I don't care if price can't get gunned down so the plot stays the same. I want a game with fucking heart man. P.s. Your a cunt
Back then, Medal of Honor was what you played for immersion and accuracy, and COD was what you played for those huge, action packed squad v. squad battles. Best of both worlds. Now the MOH series is dead, COD is doing futuristic stuff, and the golden age of WWII games is over. Sigh. We’ll always have the memories...
10 years later this game is still good.
13 years later still good
1milino yers still good to me

Whenever I have a bit of nostalgia, I reach for Call of Duty 2. My first game for Xbox 360, and still my favorite Call of Duty.
The Chairman Yea it is a great game that kicked off the Xbox 360!
This is what they need to do. Take Cod back to it's roots and redefine it. I love these older cods. So much fun.
Yeah the way you, how did Pearson put it? They made you feel like you were a cog in the war machine
The multiplayer of this game was just *chefs kiss* amazing.

Gamematics meanone
M1 Garrand. Not Gerrand.
How did it go from this classic rush of excitement, to bald guys flying around in exo suits, with robot grenades.
the words call of duty have nothing to do with the newer games.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of them but it could just be black ops 3, instead of a call of duty title.
The meaning of the title call of duty ended in mw3.

in terms of single player and story, this CoD was the best.

There is one more; COD The Final Front.
Even after playing COD WWII, and Modern Warfare 2019, COD 2 still enjoyable. :)

Anyways this game is fucking awesome.
Wow, I played this game a lot during my childhood. This video brings back many memories!
That is awesome! Glad my video can bring back some awesome memories!
ههههه
Fun fact: The way the British soldiers hold the STEN gun is actually incorrect, holding it by the ammo clip could actually make the gun jam.
+Connor Hoins interesting! thanks for sharing that.
I always thought the way they were holding it in the game was uncontrollable to shoot.
This channel is best for Game movies, focused on main story and gameplay
Thank you! Glad you think so!

"Listen up! " "this one is for my dog!" "MG42 on the 2nd floor!" "They are coming!"
I haven't played a COD since MW3. I'm so glad they are going back to WW2. I may just have to buy a used 360 and play this one again before COD WWII comes out. I loved this game. I wish Infinity Ward was still making these games.
i liked it that on multiplayer theres no running on walls and jet packs and uavs
Or level 50 folks with fully upgraded weapons with max damage and Infrared to see thru walls.
yabuilder.com/8FYQ

Shame as it was great all the way through [ helped me with my Ost playlist [ appearance order ]
Oh well - human error
stephen22564 no human error, often times the songs in the credits cause copyright issues with the RUclips video. They are purposely muted. Sorry.
This is real Call of Duty! Black Ops 3, Ghosts, AW and Infinite Watfare was lame
IW hasnt even came out yet.
GMAN3340 - lol exposed him

So hard to believe this game is a decade old. Man I had so much fun with Call of Duty 2, because now COD is just a bunch of futuristic horse shit.
GA. Luigi Yea looking back at the classics...it almost hurts sometimes to see what is out now. I am an original SOCOM fan....I have been hurting for a long time. lol

Gamematics did u do cod 1 full movie?
*CHUCK FUCKING NORRIS* I have not yet.
Gamematics U should
damn wish this was on ps2 back in the day
Bringing back memories

best of the series IMO was COD2
***** It is the game that kicked off the Xbox 360. Great game for sure.
Gamematics yes but Halo 3 and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 had something to do with it as well
Back then, Medal of Honor was what you played for immersion and accuracy, and COD was what you played for those huge, action packed squad v. squad battles. Best of both worlds. Now the MOH series is dead, COD is doing futuristic stuff, and the golden age of WWII games is over. Sigh. We’ll always have the memories...
I remember the days when MoH was top dog, then a few years later COD was only a PC game.
Legend
Gamematics I got another idea: halo 2 game movie
