This is proof you don't need a glamorous lifestyle to be successful as a content creator/film maker. Its about telling a story. And more people will relate to this than the luxurious travels of many influencers. Everyday life is beautiful and we shouldnt take it forgranted. Thanks for the reminder.

I really loved that line too - such a great storyteller Kyle- all the worries and woes of the world fall away for these 20 minutes of my Sunday. I truly look forward to seeing your smiling face and hearing about your latest adventures! Thank you, from Windsor, Ontario, Canada! :)

Every Sunday, I grab my favorite coffee cup and brew my favorite coffee just for this. Watching your videos keep me aligned and thinking forward. I do woodworking and listen to your videos in the background. They play for a good 5 hours straight. That purple heart wood is awesome too!
I love listening to the video where you drive around backroads and all you hear is the truck. Do you have anymore like that planned in the future?
I really wish I had the money to do patreon. :( It's so hard now. I would in a heartbeat.
The cabin looks great! Really coming together! Stay safe.

Loved reading this David! So cool. I'm working with a local coffee company as we speak to make a trout and coffee blend for people to sip on Sunday mornings while they watch. I'm BEYOND excited!!
And yes! I was thinking about the backroad kind of videos just the other day. I want to do more like that. I've got a bunch of ideas for some relaxing screen saver style videos that I want to start working on. Thank you for the spark!
And no worries at all! Times are hard right now for sure. Just being here and commenting is plenty. You energy always gives me motivation.
Stay safe yourself! See you next time man!

It’s after 2 a.m. here in Phoenix and I should be asleep. I was introduced to your videos recently, Kyle, and at the moment my emotions have flooded me and I don’t have words to adequately convey my rich appreciation. I grew up (over the age of 60, but not fully grown-up) in Conneaut, Ohio, where you met Karl Mackey last April. THAT video was splendid. I’ll come back to your videos when I can linger, with my feathered pet, an African Grey parrot (Miss Kiwi) and a cup of coffee. I just couldn’t close up my computer for the night without sending a few thoughts to you of how your projects, your words and your voice have soothed my soul and inspired my mind. I feel a bit better knowing people like you exist in our world. Thank you. Talk soon!

My favorite video to date, has it all!!! Wish I had friends, landscape, scenery like that with cool old simple, reliable vehicles with Quarter Glass Vent Windows. These type videos feed my soul and calm my anxiety.
30 years ago when I was a kid that’s what is was like, now it’s hustle & bustle, development and traffic everywhere. Back then the days were simpler, slower, quieter and more peaceful, even the air smelled different.. of Hay, Cut grass, Dirt... and Cow shit

Right on!! Stoked to hear that! Honestly one of my favorite comments ever. Just thinking about slower and simpler days calms me down too. Hey Kyle, WOW! What a video, I woke up to a cold morning, the sun coming up, made my favorite New England Columbia Supreme coffee in my press started a fire and watched one of my favorite videos. This one I thoroughly enjoyed. It brought back my adventures in Upstate, N.Y. I remember buying my first car when I came back from Nam, it was a 1964 DeSoto Battleship Grey, lol. I had so much fun with it. I sure wished I had kept it. You knocked it out of the Ball Park with this video. By the way, my new May Fly hat came in yesterday, I like it, Thnks so much for the memories. Stay safe.

People, I'm sure, always leave a little more encouraged, every time! Thanks again! I can't wait to see the done van and the cabin. I know the landscape will be spectacular. The car (Plymouth) is beautiful! Loved the old Ford, too! I just love those vintage trucks and cars. Reminds me of my grandpa. Thank you for the hikes and Hooter is one beautiful dog! I agree, nothing like going uphill/incline on a hike! Loved the music! Glad to see your business growing, well deserved! Be safe and God bless!

Morning Char! We're all doing great! I hope all is well with you and your family too. So glad you enjoyed this one! and ha! A million would be wild. I often think about what that would be like. Part of me wants to have that so I can make a decent living doing just this, but part of me loves the small family we have currently. It's like the world just hasn't found us yet. And I can't wait for all the projects to wrap up! Been years in the making on all of them. Very excited about the new cars too! Welcome additions to the family. There's just something about old cars I'll never be able to get over. Would so much rather have a bunch of cheap old vehicles I keep running with my own hands than some fancy expensive cars. Thank you so much for your beautiful words! See you next time!

I grew up around these classic cars; a time when each car had tremendous character and uniqueness. I learned to drive with a farm truck, a 1962 Chevy Apache, three on the column. Now, all cars basically look the same, as if they were stamped out of the same mold, with a different label added for identification.

    Awsome....
    Well done.
    Also, awsome duellie truck...
    What character .
    Be careful though...
From experience......I've collected so many ancient " things" with character...
They are now becoming a burden.
From 75 year old ocean kayaks to diesel tractors to old trucks and convertibles...
    Trust me - I know.
    Cheers, and good luck.

My wife and I spent four days in my dad‘s 1960 valiant for an interview with Johnson and Johnson in January 1961. On our road to New Brunswick New Jersey on the Pennsylvania Turnpike we were in a white out and had to stop in Reading. The next morning the motel we stayed in had a blizzard and snow was up to the windows on the valiant. The owner of the motel plowed so we could get back to the Pennsylvania Turnpike. We needed gas so I just pulled into the Howard Johnson but could not get to the gas pump there’s a big 18 wheeler parked there. went inside and there was no food no electricity and no gas. finally electricity was on gas the car up and they had plowed one lane on the Pennsylvania Turnpike towards New Jersey. However traffic was at a standstill for eight hours. Because it
the valiant was doing fine and the heater was fine and we were young. The New Jersey bridge was iced over and sailors were AWOL trying to get back to Brooklyn.finally we got to the exit in New Brunswick and the little valiant undercarriage got hung up in the snow. Fortunately a driver behind me got out and gave me a push and we made it through to find a hotel room. The lights are on let me go in and see if we can get a room. Sorry the manager said we don’t have any rooms available but you can have a meeting room and I’ll put some a cot in there for you to sleep on when the meetings over. OK so then he saw we were a young couple and took I think he felt nice and wanted to let us use his suite on the top floor. My wife said on the balcony looking out isn’t it beautiful. Yes it was beautiful. The next morning I called Johnson and Johnson to apologize and they said no problem the plant was closed Monday and will be closed Tuesday but if you’ll stay till Wednesday will interview you and pay your expenses. OK so that’s we have to better do it we need a job so I can. so I go out side and the car is in the middle of the highway. I have been snow plowed on both sides of it but it was all OK the following was fine. The interview was eight people surrounded in the board room and the question was oh Mr. Housel how much do you ultimately think you would be able to make. that was the new question on I wasn’t prepared to answer but I thought I could be happy with $25,000 a year as 5000 was the normal engineering start. The following question was well what limits you? Well I could be happier. Well needless to say they did not even make an offer after missing four days of final exams and going home in 4 feet of snow.
Martin Orlando Florida sent me an offer and it was not a hard decision to head south in my 1950 Buick roadmaster. We have stayed in Orlando since January 1961 until today. Oh and my brother totaled the valiant on a date with his girlfriend on a mountain road so it didn’t last forever.

Hi, My best mate and I use to cruise around in a VIP model Valiant a V8, when we were younger, we live in Sydney Australia. 60's and 70's was the time these were prevalent on the roads here, especially with Greek and Italian and communities a working man's family car.
we had a 1970 model I think, with the bench seat in the front and back and it was Auto. It was like cruising around in the most comfortable lounge chair road trips down the coast It was the best car. then tragedy happen and it was stolen and used in a crime and set on fire afterwards. We were almost inconsolable. Lotta memories & fun times. Valiant is a great reliable car. Easy to work on. We were/are still the practical type of women, and loved working on our cars and motor bikes. That Valiant is a pearler !

Wow This just brought back some memories! I drove a cream colored 1965 Plymouth Valiant when I was right out of high school around 1981. It was same color with blue interior. 3 on the tree. That car was a tank. I could barely drive it because I’m really short and could barely reach the clutch which was really hard to push down. Where did the time go?

Love your work, Huck! Your style is so amazing, and it's so close to the lens and style I would take if I ever find the motivation to just start. My best friend Frankie and I are planning a trip for mid-end of May, and we will be passing right through your area. I'm a vanlifer and wannabe-photographer/filmmaker and I (we) think it would be amazing if we could somehow link up and talk about life. Hope to hear back from you!

I spent a few years I Maine when I was younger and toured on motorcycle and camped all through New England. North East is a great place. So, Your videos are very entertaining and grounding. I also love old and classic cars by the way. Try not to loose the way you bring your messages across to every one. Some one told me if you do something you really like the money will eventually follow. I found this to be very true, at least for me. Good filming and happy future!
