The reason why Yuta wanted to be a singer is because he saw TVXQ's performance (way back when he's in japan), he auditioned in SM and sing in front of TVXQ and now he's in the same company with them. I'm so proud of Yuta. He's pretty popular in Japan too, he's now the most followed japanese male celebrity in Instagram and he's a DJ of his own radio show "Yuta At Home" which garnered many listeners and made the show extends it's airing.
If it makes you feel any better, WinWin really fits in WayV. He gets more lines and is one of the popular members in the group. They're like an actual family, of course all units are close within their units, but WayV is a different vibe. You'll see when you get more into them, they're all really sweet :)
Jaehyun’s english is good because he lived in America for 5 years, Connecticut specifically. He’s part of the foreign swaggers in NCT , mostly Mark , Johnny and Jaehyun.

Just some backstory about Johnny. He trained 8-9 years before he debut in NCT, and he actually trained with EXO (he is EXO's maknae during trainee years) but EXO debuted first and he spent more years of training before he made his debut in January 2017. He's close with EXO members and even before EXO's debut he's seen very often with EXO's maknae Tao and Sehun.
Johnny have a long trainee time because he also studying that time. Basically he was not fully trained for 8-9 years.
It took Johnny 8-9 years in total because he was casted so young. He only got to train whenever he could fly back to Seoul during school breaks, so he wasn't considered top priority among the male trainees to be considered for the final EXO lineup. I think he was only really a full-time trainee after high school graduation, that was around 2013.

@@uc6758 Just because Johnny trained alongside the EXO members doesn’t mean he was in the running to be in the final lineup. Same with Suho training with SHINee. Doesn’t mean he was “supposed to” debut with them.

But I think Johnny training with exo is the same as Haechan training with Red Velvet(this is the part I might be remembering wrong). Haechan obviously wasn't going to join red velvet, but it's like a shadowing/mentoring program
actually winwin has a pointed elf ear, so the members can always tell if its him during blind-folded games based on his ear. yuta didnt just know that out of nowhere haha

Jungwoo's personality has done a complete 180 since this guide has come out. He's more confident and is now one of the funniest members in Nct. Cherryverse has a two part series about has he has evolved since his debut.
The guide is still pretty good but definitely not doing Jungwoo justice at all anymore, he changed so much since then! He is my bias so ofc i am here to advocate for him ❤️ he is very funny and not nervous anymore, nct always said he was a weirdo and they were right! cherryverse just made a new video about his character evolution, it would be amazing if you gave it a watch (maybe in your free time if you can't here) to get to know him! thank you for doing nct 127 week! ❤️

Jungwoo is a worldwide treasure and he got even better after the times this video was made.
Also people sometimes find Lucas similar to Minho indeed and also Jungwoo to Taemin, so you're not alone in this.

To clarify yes, Winwin is now in WayV. Sadly when he debuted with WayV he had to be away from Nct127 and they only got reunited recently for Nct2020 promotions. It was really heartbreaking to see the members from Nct127 so happy to finally see him during Nct2020 cause you could just tell how much they missed each other.
Fun fact: Xiaojun (from WayV) is another big fan of Exo and even did a cover of "For Life". It's funny cause he would sometimes just randomely sing parts of exo songs without context

Taeyong is my ult but Haechan and Taeil are my biases in all of NCT. I LOVE their relationship, they are literally obsessed with each other and it's so cute to see the oldest member and one of the youngest (the baby of 127 obvi) get along so well. They're the Moon and Sun and so so so cute
Jungwoo is my bias! He has changed a lot since this guide. He isn't as nervous or awkward anymore. He took a 5 month break from NCT towards the end of 2019 because of his mental health. He was added to 127 just as they were starting to become more recognized. His first performance with them was actually on Jimmy Kimmel. So he was thrown in and it was a lot to handle, plus he was added right when they were planning a concert so he had to learn a whole discography of songs and choreo in a short time. However he came back for Kick It promos and since then he has been really outgoing and the member that makes everyone laugh the most! Plus lately he has been embracing a sexier side through photoshoots and the recent NCT Who is Sticker video they released! He's also an MC now on Music Core and has his own youtube show on the NCT channel where he interviews other members of NCT and does hobbies with them.

Actually in Taeyong's part where he's dancing Whiplash (with Jaehyun & Mark), Taeyong created the choreography.
So WinWin has been “inactive” in NCT127 since the end of 2018 when he prepared for WayV’s debut. SM Entertainment hasn’t formally removed him from NCT127 but also hasn’t made any hints of reinstating him. So his status with NCT127 is unknown at the moment. Some fans say he’s not part of the group anymore and some say he is but inactive. It’s a bit of a sensitive topic amongst fans because there is no clarification and both sides fight on whether he still is or isn’t a 127 member. So it’s up to you and what you think.
Also, Taeyong and Yuta do have some similar features so it’s not just you who gets them confused at first. And yes, Lucas has been compared to Minho before too. It’s a ongoing joke that SM clones their idols because there’s several SM artists who resemble each other. Like Jungwoo is said to look like Taemin too.
Yes NCT 127 has some very strong vocalists but it’s hard to tell from their title tracks since they tend to be more rap based. You got to dive in to the B-sides or the vocal lines’ covers/ side projects (OSTs, solos, collabs) in order to really hear their voice. Taeil is me personal favorite vocal of NCT, he does have a solo OST (Because if You) that he released before his debut, he also has a collab with a singer name Solhee called “Purple” and another with an artist Moon Sujin called “The Moon”.
This guide is a bit outdated but still one of the best ones out there. Its entertaining to watch and gives you a combination of factual information and fun trivia’s for each member. Though it just barely scratches the surface of NCT 127 and their members.
Jaehyun did a live stage/duet with Taeyeon. It was really cute. He was literally living out every fanboy’s dream lol
SM annually held an Halloween Party with all of their artist and subsidiaries. That is why theyre wearing something halloween costumes. And it is actually just a casual Halloween party at the beginning, but because one day All SHINee members wearing halloween costumes to get there, that is why SM starts to make that 'casual' halloween party became a costume competition at the Halloween party
Jungwoo is my ULT bias in the whole NCT. When I first got into NCT I watched guides like this and when it showed Jungwoo and his personality, I instantly loved him. He’s such a unique character. His personality is so kind and funny and I JUST WANNA HUG HIM😭 Like I wanna be friends with him and tell him how great of a job he is doing. When he first joined NCT127 he got a lot of hate bc fans were mad that they were adding an extra member into a group when they barley give Winwin any lines. I get why some people were upset but it still doesn’t validate the hate Jungwoo got bc he is such a talented kind soul. LIKE HOW COULD ANYONE HATE ON HIM, HEA SO SWEET WTF!!!He’s a good vocalist as well. It’s very delicate but has soul at the same time(my fav Jungwoo vocals are his parts in BOSS & GIMMIE GIMMIE). Also When you said he might be your favorite I almost cried bc he deserves so much appreciation.🥺🥰

NCT 127's Good Thing is a bside song of their 2017 NCT#127 Limitless album. NCT's b-side songs are the best, I feel like you'll gonna love NCT 127's b-side songs on their NCT 127 2016 Ep and NCT#127 Limitless album.
'Good Thing' uses a sample of that Eve and Alicia Keys song I always forget the name of!

Some recommendations of really good guide videos:
• NCT Guide by CLKX Fiction. The channel divides the guides into three: The Units (16mins), The Hyung Line (30mins), and The Maknae Line (30mins).
• WayV specific guide by Lao Gan Ma (50mins).
Jungwoo went on hiatus because of his anxiety, he received so many hates because they think he replace winwin.
You are going through what the majority of fandom going through at the beginning: which is thinking Yuta and Taeyong looks like a twin 😂
Jaehyun jaehyun jaehyun. Like NCT is already full of visuals esp if you’re talking about facial features, there would be Lucas and Taeyong, but smtg about jaehyun omg he is super dreamy and very crushable LOL. I recommend his cover I Like Me Better, we all cry over it every now and then

I love the guides made by that channel but yeah, I must admit that it's kinda outdated XD There are a lot of new info within these past two years, but I guess it's an okay guide for you to start.
Jungwoo is not the same anymore. I mean yeah, he's sometimes shy and anxious but now he's probably the comedian of the group lol. He's just so weird and funny and I love that. Also, Yuta already changed bias to Mark (hahaha I'm kidding but, yeah, Winwin hasn't been active in 127 ever since WayV made their debut, I think at this rate, it's kinda unrealistic that he would be back with 127 anymore but yeah, some fans can hope I guess).
Yuta and Mark are my ults in 127 and I'm so happy that Yuta caught your attention. He deserves more and moreeeee love (he's already very loved, but I'm just saying lol).
Also, a lot of the NCTs are actually EXO and SHINee fans lol, but the resident hardcore EXO-Ls of NCT are probably Renjun and Jisung. One of the reasons why he auditioned was because of EXO. Jisung also mentioned that the turning point that made him want to be an idol was an EXO concert. They talked about this recently in some variety show (Mental Camp if I'm not mistaken?). Jisung always plays EXO songs in his V-Live and also mentions that he's still an EXO-L even today lol. But yeah, they all play and sing EXO songs all the time and as a fan of both group I really love it.

Jungwoo quickly scrambled his way up to the top of my bias list after he debuted. He really is such a sweetheart and worthy of protecting. He actually has an anxiety disorder, and even went on hiatus for a couple of months because of it. I’m happy that he’s so much more confident and comfortable now.

taeil is the main vocalist of 127, sadly, he doesn't get enough opportunities to show how amazing his vocal range is. if u, as a vocal coach want to analyze more closely i personally recommend u a video called: get to know nct's main vocalist: taeil's journey by dream in a city, a really complete video to show why he's actually one of the best singers in the kpop industry rn, loved the reaction!!!
There is something about the proportions of yuta and taeyong 's faces, especially in motion, that trips people up. There is a split screen picture of them that really shows this. Even after 3 years in a new video i will occasionally still get tripped up. It's been said that Taeyong is Korean Yuta and Yuta is Japanese Taeyong.
You should check out ‘NCT 127 takes a friendship test’ and ‘NCT 127 acts out 19 emotions’, it will give you an insight on their personalities and dynamics.
And you don’t have to react to this but if you’re interested, Jungwoo recently had a solo stage called ‘Smiling angel’ that shows of his bright and sweet vocals!!
i love these guides so much, great guide choice even if it is a lil old! you should check out nct dream's the video recent live performance of life still goes on and ANL that they uploaded to celebrate their fifth anniversary. they sound sound so good and the always immaculate dream vibes are in full effect. ALSO so excited for 127 week, i'm looking so forward to it!
Haechan is also a huge SHINee fanboy. Watching SHINee's Replay music video is what made Haechan want to become a kpop idol and audition for SM. There's this video of Taemin teaching Haechan and Ten the choreography to his song 'IDEA', and Haechan was super nervous. He said before that he doesn't want to get close to the SHINee members because he just likes to admire them from afar.

You should watch live performances from them or cover songs from them! Like Live performance for No Longer, Sun&Moon, Back 2 U, Mad City, etc. Timeless is a NCT U song but is sung by Taeil, Jaehyun and Doyoung. And for covers I would say Baby Baby by Taeil. The one Haechan and Doyoung have together. Actually, watch whatever cover you want because it’s amazing.

Jungwoo is my bias in 127. I love to see your reactions towards his transformation now after 3 yrs with NCT, especially in the latest Who is Sticker video. Junguwu is now Jungwoahhhh. I can't handle the change. Too much.. Too soon!!! 😅 😅 😅 Jungwoo has his own show in NCT channel called Jungwoo's Find This Person where he's the host meeting up with experts in various fields (actually these experts are NCT members pretending to be experts). The show is quite funny. Well NCT members are crackheads afterall. The title is in Korean though, but the shows come with English subs. And he recently becomes one of the MCs for a music show. Can't remember the name of the show coz I hardly watch them. 😅
Heachan is also a Shawol btw. And yes, Lucas has always been teased for his similar looks to Shinee Minho. And just like Minho, he's a big ball of energy!
My favorite vocalist in NCT is Taeil but sometimes Doyoung creeps in. 😁 So, yes, please do a vocal coach reaction. Vocally, I feel, of all the NCT units, 127 has the strongest vocal combination of Taeil, Doyoung, Jaehyun and Haechan. They get the most vocal lines.
Jungwoo is now way more comfortable in front of the cameras and we can see his personality more, he's one of the members that always makes everyone laugh and he loves to show the members some love in the way of hugs and kisses 🥺
Jaehyun got the nickname human-peach, because of his more round face (when he was younger) and his great, soft skin. BUT Taeyong loves to allure to his bottom, whenever he mentions Jaehyun and peaches - he even drew a peach on Jaes backside on a picture during a fansign once :D so he probably has a nice one, even though he isn't part of the bootylicous-line XD
Everyone loves Winwin, but Winwin only loves Jaehyun! They're same-age friends and really close!
Oh, and Johnny hasn't really done any ASMR, he and Jaehyun were hosts of a nightly radio show for over a year however. Both have great speaking voices!

Sir Autsin, you're killing me. You are finding the NCTzenisms so well. Yes, there is a whole thing about how SM clones their idols and Lucas/Minho are one of the prime examples. I have rarely seen it myself, but lots of people do. The other is Jungwoo (who is not shy anymore at all) and Taemin. We want a duet with them...we are waiting.
When it comes to unique voices I 100% recommend checking out Super Junior’s Ryeowook! Not only is he one of the best vocalist in the industry but he has such a unique vocal tone. I recommend listening to his song “In not over you” and “The little prince” which also so happens to be his nickname!

Winwin hasn't actively promoted with them nor been in an album since 2018's Regular-Irregular and its repackage. While he's still considered part of the oficial lineup in SM's profile, people don't consider him part of the unit anymore since he's full time with WayV now.
