They UNAPOLOGETICALLY served Sticker coz they know they'll deliver. They know their sound. They know no one can do better with this type of music than them. Just hearing the flute for the first time and they know it's meant for them (and I personally think the flute adds to the flavor of the song. It adds to its complexity). I love Sticker the first time hearing it and my respect for them just went higher and higher each time they show everyone the NCT 127 noise music in their title tracks because it just shows how unbothered they are with it.

It's just an SM thing to have a title track that is risky. They're not afraid to experiment and gamble on putting out title tracks. Either way, i love how all the members shine. Even taeil is glowing in this era. Especially Jungwoo!! Jungwoo is shining in this album. Although he got lesser lines than anyone else, he's still so noticable and more present compare to their past eras.

Me too, im struggling to like wakeywakey, cherry bomb and simon says on first and second listen. Im vibing with those after my 3rd or 4th. But sticker, i like it since the first one. Its actually so strip back in my opinion, not many instruments at the beginning and you can clearly hear their amazing vocals n rap. N that is what i love about nct127

SM did it again-- releasing an unconventional, almost weird, title track and i'm here for it every damn time! I see a lot of people feeling skeptical about it but i think Sticker is actually a good song. Lemonade is a good contender for title track but I think choosing Sticker is the right decision to make the comeback impactful! Lemonade is a literal 127 sound, almost has Punch vibe, so Sticker really stands out. That’s what I like about NCT, 127 especially, they are not afraid of releasing songs that are unique and unlike any other. If you think of their songs, there’s no other boy groups that can pull off something like this. They are always ahead of their time [and groups within their generation]. I’m sorry but I take no slander for Sticker. Like it's literally in my top 3 songs in the entire album. Btw, it's a no skip album. The songs are all fire. Promise You is my favorite! :)
I completely agree with you. This song was incredible. A masterpiece. I loved it at first listen even though I was confused lmao, and after a whole day of listening to it, I can say that it's now my favorite 127 title track AND my favorite from the album, something that never happens! But honestly, when have we ever heard a song like this before? Who could be capable to pull it off like them? It's unique and it's 100% theirs. Big respect for daring to release this song, because just like Doyoung said, they're not afraid of new adventures.
Exactly MOON FREAKING TAEIL I need him to have more center moments because that man just delivers and serves vocals and visual. I'm also glad he could show how nice his dance moves are, his moves are smooth, if you watch cherry bomb choreo for example you could see how he did great but you need to use the tunnel vision to focus on him that's why I'm happy hat sticker did him justice. As the main vocal I find it amazing how he can dance that well it's a neo thing indeed

Taeil is the member who gets most lines in NCT. (Haechan too but he's in 2 units so it's technically Taeil) but Taeil usually shines more in b-sides and even though he gets quite decent lines in title tracks they never show him in the musicvideos... 😑 so many lines yet they can't showcase him well like SM do one proper job.

Yes Sticker is for Intellectuals! I was confused with how the instrumentals they use. But I'm here for it. I love how unique it is. Their title tracks aren't your usual Kpop Sound. And Lemonade is one of my faves too. This is why I like Sam artists music they always try something new. They always start trends.

I like that sticker is not generic cos if im gonna be honest, alot of the recent bg comebacks have been sounding pretty similar to their earlier songs. I loved Sticker the first time I listened to it. I agree that the flute sound could be a bit distracting, but I feel like it gave the song the 127 sound. I loved Sticker from the first listen, it's sooo unique and love that filter or whatever on their voices, especially when Doyoung sang for the 1st time his voice sounded soo uniqe and amazing, a little raw. For me, i love the instrumental music of this song a lot and it took me 2-3 listens to get used to the flow of their singing to the beats. Now i really like this song. As many people told Lemonade is an amazing song which even i love but Sticker fits more as a title track bcz it has that uniqueness which makes the song interesting.

I think the reason why they did not pick lemonade as a title track is because it's very good but it only seemed like a basic neo sound. Like if other groups could get that as a title track it would be good for them, but the standard for 127 is high, it's like a law that their title track must be ahead of what's the basic kpop, since a lot of boy groups nowadays do 'noise' music already. With STICKER, NCT 127 is reminding everyone that they are the BLUEPRINT of this GENRE. They own it. It's their sound, and no one does it better than the original.
I always expect the unexpected from NCT 127! I respect them so much for keeping their style and their identity through their music. Sticker is a complex track, with some interesting layering and vocals. Never heard anything like it, and that’s very NEO to me. So far, my favorite songs in this album are The Rainy NIght and Magic Carpet Ride, since I love their ballads, but Lemonade and Sticker are amazing also. It really depends on my mood. Ngl I didn't like this song at first but the more ive listened its grown on me. My one complaint tho is that like broken flute sound needs to go. Also I listened to the album and Lemonade is amazing but I knew it would be from the teaser. And Magic Carpet Ride is absolutely beautiful and my favorite song off the album.
I share the same sentiment. I began to 'like' the song after listening to it 2 or 3 times but, I still think the sound of the flute spoils the song. I like Road Trip best of all in the album.

Another fact, he wrote his Firetruck rap verse himself sooo yeah, we live for an All-Rounder Jaehyun

I totally agree that on the first listen of Sticker - I LOVED IT too!! It may seem ambitious but that's NCT 127. This what I was expecting but still got kicked in the face (in a good way). It is absolutely a masterpiece - the song I love the harmony and then the hook, the switch ups - everything. I get so hyped every time I hear it - I look like a crazy happy fool trying to do the dance moves while I'm driving. When I first saw Lemonade, I thought ok that's my jam but that was immediately wrecked when I saw Sticker. OMG - I'm in total agreement : everything that is going on is a freaking MASTERPIECE!!! It's beyond brilliant - the concept, the visuals, the lighting, the choreo, the guys fits, the props. Jesus, can you make the guys be more gorgeous? I have watched this so many times to try to catch everything that is going on and I know I've missed lots of other details but I can't get enough of it-it's still soaking in. SM definitely knows what the hell they're doing and yes, I've been sucked in-it's currently a daily obsession. I could go on and on - I haven't even touched on how each of the guys are hitting me - my god. The colors are fantastic, the tone is playful but sexy, the attention to the details especially the guys outfits and the different fit changes - big props to the stylists. I squealed at the dance moves - especially Jungwoo - he's really glowing. I can't say enough but it's EPIC and I love the entire album. Congratulations to the guys - all their hard work has resulted in an insanely great comeback! Can't wait for more.
I completely agree! This song is amazing. 127 have never been people pleasers, they’ve always unapologetically had their own colors and styles and that’s basically why most of us are fans. Ooh regarding their parts, in 127 (and nct as a whole actually) the members have their “official” role (i.e main vocal/main rapper/etc) but they’ve all been trained to do everything. So as you get more into their music you’ll definitely see the rappers sing sometimes and the singers rap sometimes!

Yeah, I really liked Sticker as well, such an SM track, and the way people either love or hate it reminds me of when Exo released Wolf, and for Sticker I think a big part of the hate comes from the fact the song definitely wasn’t made with the western kpop fans in mind, it’s much more Asian in the music style and instruments they used and a lot of international fans either aren’t used to it, or straight up don’t like it because whether they admit it or not, their music tastes are much narrower than they like to think, part of it is also their age and not having experienced as many music styles as someone my age, but I’ve always had a weirdly eclectic music taste…. Also, Jaehyun is a true ace, like most NCT members really, and he both raps and sings very well cuz he trained in both, and when NCT debuted he was a main vocalist, but then when NCT 127 debuted he mainly rapped in Fire Truck, but then Ten did the same thing by debuting with a rap and switching to a main vocalist in WayV
Jaehyun was originally a rapper, he joined the company as one and trained his first years with Taeyong, before joining the vocalists Taeil and Doyoung. He debuted as the lead vocal in NCT U's 7th Sense/Without You and lead rapper/vocalist in NCT 127's Firetruck. Nowadays he does have the main vocalist position, but still gets to rap from time to time! The first verse grew me for a loop and I wasn't sure, but as soon as the chorus hit I was in! Now I really really like it and it's so nice that everyone got lines/moments to shine. It's so well balanced!
jaehyun and yuta are also part of the rap line! jae actually auditioned to be a rapper but sm put him for vocals. and thank you for appreciating yutas vocals! he's usually overlooked in that field so it's nice having a reactor that pays attention to it/him as well 🥰

it's a bop, it's NCT. it's jarring at first but the chorus is immediately catchy. I thought my speakers were broken at first because of the vocal processing or whatever that is but child, I loved sticker.

Its SM signature sound, to me, everytime SM group comeback, specially NCT, I expect things like this, and its cool cause I might be bored if they come out with something mainstream haha I guess it just SM stan thing, we train our ears with unique sound since old time 😅

I loved Sticker from the first listen, it's sooo unique and love that filter or whatever on their voices, especially when Doyoung sang for the 1st time his voice sounded soo uniqe and amazing, a little raw. I don't know how to explain, but loved loved loved it. The most unique in a good way this year
For me, i love the instrumental music of this song a lot and it took me 2-3 listens to get used to the flow of their singing to the beats. Now i really like this song. As many people told Lemonade is an amazing song which even i love but Sticker fits more as a title track bcz it has that uniqueness which makes the song interesting.
I found the song pretty experimental, but ofc it's nct they nailed it, they're vocals were shining, the tracks were great too✨
And look Jaehyun, Johnny, Taeyong and Jungwoo all need to calm down cuz that was to much lol. Especially Jaehyun and that lip bite like please my sanity can't take it. And Johnny put the abs away good lord 😩

I think the reason why they did not pick lemonade as a title track is because it's very good but it only seemed like a basic neo sound. Like if other groups could get that as a title track it would be good for them, but the standard for 127 is high, it's like a law that their title track must be ahead of what's the basic kpop, since a lot of boy groups nowadays do 'noise' music already. With STICKER, NCT 127 is reminding everyone that they are the BLUEPRINT of this GENRE. They own it. It's their sound, and no one does it better than the original.
I always expect the unexpected from NCT 127! I respect them so much for keeping their style and their identity through their music. Sticker is a complex track, with some interesting layering and vocals. Never heard anything like it, and that’s very NEO to me. So far, my favorite songs in this album are The Rainy NIght and Magic Carpet Ride, since I love their ballads, but Lemonade and Sticker are amazing also. It really depends on my mood. But the album is a solid masterpiece. Thanks for listening carefully to every track. Love ‘ya!

Ngl I didn't like this song at first but the more ive listened its grown on me. My one complaint tho is that like broken flute sound needs to go. Also I listened to the album and Lemonade is amazing but I knew it would be from the teaser. And Magic Carpet Ride is absolutely beautiful and my favorite song off the album.
I share the same sentiment. I began to 'like' the song after listening to it 2 or 3 times but, I still think the sound of the flute spoils the song. I like Road Trip best of all in the album.

Actually I kinda like that sound of flute especially in Mark's rap section at first I was like wth and I found it funny but then I noticed how the choreography matches the sound and then I literally started to love it sm !

It's hard to focus at first. i liked it on my first listen But on my 6th listen it grew on me so much more. I LOVE it so much!

People need to give 2 or 3 more chance to the song to be able to process it. This song is another grower. It will just grow on you by time.

Jaehyun is originally trained as a rapper, but then along his trainee period he became a main vocalist with his deep baritone voice (which SM family rarely has), so yeah here he is now. You can listen to Hope, sung by Doyoung, Jaehyun and Johnny ft. Chen, it was on their predebut era when Johnny was a vocalist and Jae a rapper

I totally agree that on the first listen of Sticker - I LOVED IT too!! It may seem ambitious but that's NCT 127. This what I was expecting but still got kicked in the face (in a good way). It is absolutely a masterpiece - the song I love the harmony and then the hook, the switch ups - everything. I get so hyped every time I hear it - I look like a crazy happy fool trying to do the dance moves while I'm driving. When I first saw Lemonade, I thought ok that's my jam but that was immediately wrecked when I saw Sticker. OMG - I'm in total agreement : everything that is going on is a freaking MASTERPIECE!!! It's beyond brilliant - the concept, the visuals, the lighting, the choreo, the guys fits, the props. Jesus, can you make the guys be more gorgeous? I have watched this so many times to try to catch everything that is going on and I know I've missed lots of other details but I can't get enough of it-it's still soaking in. SM definitely knows what the hell they're doing and yes, I've been sucked in-it's currently a daily obsession. I could go on and on - I haven't even touched on how each of the guys are hitting me - my god. The colors are fantastic, the tone is playful but sexy, the attention to the details especially the guys outfits and the different fit changes - big props to the stylists. I squealed at the dance moves - especially Jungwoo - he's really glowing. I can't say enough but it's EPIC and I love the entire album. Congratulations to the guys - all their hard work has resulted in an insanely great comeback! Can't wait for more.

I completely agree! This song is amazing. 127 have never been people pleasers, they’ve always unapologetically had their own colors and styles and that’s basically why most of us are fans. Ooh regarding their parts, in 127 (and nct as a whole actually) the members have their “official” role (i.e main vocal/main rapper/etc) but they’ve all been trained to do everything. So as you get more into their music you’ll definitely see the rappers sing sometimes and the singers rap sometimes!

love the reaction as always and i couldn't agree more with you. nct is not for everybody, they're experimental and that requires a lot of talent. they're versatile and won't make formulated songs. they're neo and new and that's the reason why i'm a nctzen since 2016.
Yeeeess! Hearing this song made total sense why they chose it as the Title track. This is a song only NCT can pull off. And the great part is that we get more goodies in the b-sides!! Can’t wait to see you react to them :)
Yeah, I really liked Sticker as well, such an SM track, and the way people either love or hate it reminds me of when Exo released Wolf, and for Sticker I think a big part of the hate comes from the fact the song definitely wasn’t made with the western kpop fans in mind, it’s much more Asian in the music style and instruments they used and a lot of international fans either aren’t used to it, or straight up don’t like it because whether they admit it or not, their music tastes are much narrower than they like to think, part of it is also their age and not having experienced as many music styles as someone my age, but I’ve always had a weirdly eclectic music taste….
Also, Jaehyun is a true ace, like most NCT members really, and he both raps and sings very well cuz he trained in both, and when NCT debuted he was a main vocalist, but then when NCT 127 debuted he mainly rapped in Fire Truck, but then Ten did the same thing by debuting with a rap and switching to a main vocalist in WayV
Jaehyun was originally a rapper, he joined the company as one and trained his first years with Taeyong, before joining the vocalists Taeil and Doyoung. He debuted as the lead vocal in NCT U's 7th Sense/Without You and lead rapper/vocalist in NCT 127's Firetruck. Nowadays he does have the main vocalist position, but still gets to rap from time to time!
The first verse grew me for a loop and I wasn't sure, but as soon as the chorus hit I was in! Now I really really like it and it's so nice that everyone got lines/moments to shine. It's so well balanced!
on first listen i was blown away, this is 127's sound and nobody can pull it off better than them
jaehyun and yuta are also part of the rap line! jae actually auditioned to be a rapper but sm put him for vocals. and thank you for appreciating yutas vocals! he's usually overlooked in that field so it's nice having a reactor that pays attention to it/him as well 🥰

it's a bop, it's NCT. it's jarring at first but the chorus is immediately catchy. I thought my speakers were broken at first because of the vocal processing or whatever that is but child, I loved sticker.
