Yeah, Mark and Haechan have been incredibly busy and prolific this year and often fans comment about them getting rest.... Honestly though, I mostly feel incredibly proud of them. (I also think they are professional and smart and will get the rest they need as they need it. Plus with no international travel or touring this year, they put their energy into their music.) Plus, Mark wrote his parts of Universe (along with the legend that is Kenzie) so he'll have songwriting rights on it too. :D In fact, Mark wrote raps for 4 songs on the album and he continually impresses me. I also love how Beautiful is shot like a Kdrama. The scenes are something average people in Korea would recognise and see/live every day (and NCT has never done that kind of aesthetic before). It really is reaching out to their audience in their everyday lives in a very special way.
Thinking that they made Beautiful before and the song actually is for NCT U's unit comeback years ago. Beautiful is such a good song and they've made a good decision to release this with the whole group amid the pandemic 🤧
