The thing is Mark didnt start in NCT Dream and then joined NCT 127, He was in all 3 units from the beginning, so he's kinda busy😂😂and when NCT 2018 happend WayV didnt debut yet
I never thought NCT's concept was difficult? the amount of members sounds intimidating but it's literally just a huge boy group with different subunits that's it
I think nct u can be a bit difficult to understand. Like it's not even a set unit, it's just whoever. And if someone is trying to learn members, that'll be confusing when they see an nct u video and it's members from all different units.
Yeah if you learn the members by unit it honestly doesn’t take that long. Not meaning it’s gonna take a day or two but with watching guides and some fanmade videos I’d guess a month to be able to point them out no matter hair color and voice.
the dreams graduation system was such a good idea on paper, but considering the dreamies are teenagers and debuted together at a young age, it was like taking brothers away from each other and wasnt the best
To sum it up: As of 2021, there are currently 23 members in NCT 📍NCT U - rotational unit -anyone from NCT can join this unit -members change often because they picked members from different different units who fits the concept of the song 📍NCT 127 -fixed unit -active promoting in US & Japan 📍NCT Dream -youngest team -fixed unit 📍WayV -NCT's first unit outside Korea -promoting in China -does Chinese & Korean songs Also the 2 new members who debuted last year is in NCT U right now, SM will going to debut a new unit this year (with 5 new members) that is going ti promote in Japan (and that's will be the 2 new members fixed unit soon).
Yall nct is now a fixed unit with 7 members including mark...they are gonna comeback this may with mark...and in case you didnt know nct 127 and nct dream have 2 common members: mark and haechan...this iconic duo ...mark and haechan are called markhyuck together...these 2 are just together all the time and best friends
They are now 23 members in NCT and winwin is in wayv. Also, I’ve been into nct for like a month now and tbh it’s not that hard to learn there names if you watch their vlogs on their official channels at least for me.
This is so exciting! Honestly, it's really not hard to learn NCT I promise, it's often exaggerated because of how big they are, but if you take your time and seriously dive into them, you'll have them down in no time! The good thing about NCT and their different units is how varied their music is. You'll be sure to find something you like from them and even if you don't like a song immediately, NCT songs tend to grow on you lol To answer some questions, yes this guide was before the 2 new members were added so it is 23 members now. Also, the 2018 project was before WayV debuted, but some of the WayV members were already in NCT then so they were apart of it. In NCT, members can double up between units!
the sports section is taken from an idol sports event called isac, where idols compete in different sports for medals, and the most medals the better. i think nct 127 won a year, but yea! heaps of content for lots of idols!
wayv hadn't debuted yet when nct2018 happened, but several of the members from wayv were in nct2018 before the unit was announced. but all the members (23) were together in nct2020 last year
For NCT 2018 "Black on Black" at the time WayV is not debuted yet but we also has 4 members of WayV (Ten, Winwin, Lucas and Kun) before they debuted with WayV in 2019 with 3 new nembers (Xiaojun, Hendery and Yangyang)
It's the first time watching you diving into a new group when I already stan them. It will be fun watching you discovering new and new sides of this amazingly beautiful and talented group. Wish you all the best things. Thank you for starting reacting to NCT 💚
I’m so extremely happy that you guys are reacting to NCT seriously. I’ve only been a casual fan in the past(saw them debut and grow, but i also only really became a real nctzen during 2020. It help me bear the extreme lack of exo contents and i’m obsessed with the dreamies now lmao.) anyways looking forward to part 2.1/2.2 of this nct guide.
I am sincerely wanna say thank you guys for uploading this. I literally waited for days for this. This made my day thank you guys so much have a great day! 🙏
I'm really excited for your journey with nct! I'm sure you'll love them all. For content i really recommend cherryverse channel... Best channel really, but there are a lot more! I'm loving seeing your journey 💚(for patreon content maybe nct world 2.0 cause is the show with all of them )
I would suggest doing the individual guides on the NCT Units by Softjun, I love this guide don’t get me wrong! it’s just easier together into them by unit, and you can get specifics for each group instead of general knowledge on the whole group! *edit: I am aware that some of softjun guides are a little outdated, I (as well as some of my friends) just found it easier to learn about each individual unit, than all together! like I said this guide is one I really enjoyed (I have seen both parts). I was just suggesting that sometimes individual guides are easier to digest! :D I really meant no harm! 💕🥰🙃
@@royalpeachzen3204 I am sorry if my wording was a little off in this, I realize it made it seem like this guide, all parts, weren’t in-depth and amazing! :D I do agree that this guide is better, it’s just a lot of nctzen have said it was easier to learn from individual unit guide.
For sure you will love so many NCT contents. As an EXO-L I admire even the editing skills of NCTzens, they're insanely good🤣 And talking about SM concepts.. hope you check out Aespa, SM new girl group. They have this Avatar concept. The group teasers are really cool too.
i find the confusion of how nct works both amusing and incredibly frustrating lmao. bc i honestly understood it pretty much instantly as well as remembered all names and who was in what unit within about 2 days of getting to know them.
Well hello, fine gentlemen. I see you’ve finally decided to react to my babies. It’s gonna be a long ass ride, but it’s gonna be good. 1. Don’t let their number of members intimidate you. I almost didn’t check them out at first because they seem “too much” but wow if it isn’t the best decision of my entire life. 2. One thing you have to know about SM is that they’re the pioneer in the industry. They always try new things and concepts and get laughed at by the kpop stans and watch the rest of the industry trying to copy them. Fun fact, the positions system that the kpop industry use (main/lead/sub vocal/dancer/rapper visual/center) was created by SM then followed by the rest of the kpop industry. 3. their sound is incredibly unique. I find that their producers just love to experiment and go as crazy as they could and I LOVE that. NCT sound wasn’t exactly welcomed by the general public at first because their music was considered “too rough” and called “noise music” as an insult (long before Stray Kids debuted, I’m a Stay too, you can tell I love these noise music). If you’re an average hip-hop/r&b music fan, like I am, NCT songs is actually the sound that you will be most familiar with, but they’re different and experimental at the same time. I say this as a multi, I love a lot of kpop groups and their music. NCT sound is THAT guy, they break boundaries and bring something that kpop just didn’t have before. I love how SM sticks to their sound and not try to fit in to what the general public would love and let the public learn to appreciate them instead. 4. they get underestimated because people only see them as EXO’s little brothers and get called a “flop” for many years before people could see how great they are. These poor kids were the punching bag of toxic kpop stans for a long time (still are actually). 5. most of these kids are introverts. I stan many groups and I can’t believe how hard it is for NCT to have friends outside of their own group. I guess it has a lot to do with how they literally grew up together and how the industry treat them in general. But they’re the most hilariously socially awkward bunch of kids I’ve ever seen in the industry. They’re sooo funny, not because they try hard to be funny but they just...are. They’re shy, quiet, awkward, but chaotic at the same time. When they’re comfortable, they’re the biggest crackheads you’ll ever meet. You’ll see once you dive deeper to their moments videos. I adore these boys so much. 6. Some of my fave youtube channels that make NCT crack videos are Banana Milk, cherryverse, and haechanzone. They’re legendary. 7. These are my babies. I have loved so many groups before them, but these boys are the ones I’m most protective of. I guess it has a lot to do with how young they were when they trained/debuted especially the Dreamies. They’re a 3rd gen group and has been in the game for 5 whole years but they’re the same age as all these 4th gen artists. They lost so much of their childhood and I’m just sad anytime a random toxic kpop stan try to invalidate their success. Being from a big 3 company and living under their seniors’ shadow actually kept them under scrutiny and insulted because they don’t succeed as fast as EXO did. It took NCT many years, but I feel like 2020 was finally the year they became a contender for all these other big names. I feel like a proud older sister everytime I see them achieve something *sniffs* 8. I’m gonna repeat what everybody already said and tell you that Mark actually didn’t start in Dream then graduate into 127. Him and Haechan were in 127 since the debut, they were in Dream and 127 at the same time. Mark was actually one of the 5 members chosen for the original debut line in NCT U with the song The 7th Sense! He was everywhere lmao. Good luck on your journey! Sorry if it’s long, I’m just excited lmao. I hope you love my babies as much as we czennies love them 💚

Everytime they add a new member/s they released a full length album featuring all members and songs from different units. NCT 2018 (18 members at that time) - Black on Black NCT 2020 (23 members) - Resonance
Super excited to watch you learn more aboot the members and the units! It's probably going to take you a while to memorize all the manes but the unit concept itself is actually not that difficult! I'm sure that you'll get the hang of it quickly :) Since you haven't checked out any of their music (almost) yet, I strongly suggest to react to the MVs in release order. At least for the NCT Dream releases bc you can literally see them grow from kids to adults throughout their comebacks! For the other units any order is fine tbh:) But with NCT Dream it's a huge "shock" at first when they change their cute/young concept for the first time during NCT 2018 era with the song "Go". That's kind of the main reason why I'm reccomending watching their MVs in order :) Anyways I'm suuuuuuper excited to go on this journey with you :)
i feel like some people make nct sound so complicated and it intimidates others and prevents them from getting into the group. its really not hard at all to understand imo and i learned them pretty fast without trying too hard bc i liked them so i just naturally watched them. i feel like the people who say "it took me a year" werent that interested in them for the whole year lol
Yay I'm so excited for this NCT journey and I hope u post a lot on RUclips. For Patreon will u be posting NCT stuff this month?? And I would say start with the NCT 2020 Album and MVs because that way you get a feel for them all even the new ones. And then go back to the beginning with the albums and MVS
Bless you my good sirs! Getting to know NCT is something you won't regret! You should also know that this guide series does not include Sungchan and Shotatro since they were introduced a month later in September.
the units pretty much for the most part function as their own groups that overlaps & occasionally combine together or rotate members (nct u) ~because on charts and ranking and music show promotions/albums-they are separated as an individual groups as opposed to being looked at as actual units like other groups’ kinds
I don't know WHY SM think that idea of graduation was a good one. Super Junior (in 2005) should be a temporary group and actually the fans didn't like that sh*t. Why they tried that again? I feel so happy when they changed their minds.
I was lucky to get into the group back in 2018 so there wasn’t as many members but I’m just gonna say if you have fun with it it’s easier to learn all the members instead of being too strict on yourself
You have to watch NCT life on patreon. Theres loads of seasons, most of which only have 7 or 8 members at a time so i think it would help to get to know the members that get outshined in the guides and complilations. it's thier varierty show; each season has a theme and its so funny
I watched one guide then weekly idol (there were only 18 then) that was it to learn the names. Adding 3 then 2 more was just a matter of seeing them once. I think it was learning NCT so quickly that has helped me since for smaller groups lol, like brain training.
"WE FEEL LIKE CLOWNS NOW"
welcome to the fandom🤡
They're already feeling the nctzen pain 😭
You're officially NCTzens now, yey! x)))
Ah yes, our second name clownzens
The thing is Mark didnt start in NCT Dream and then joined NCT 127, He was in all 3 units from the beginning, so he's kinda busy😂😂and when NCT 2018 happend WayV didnt debut yet
And heachan too both were busy. And them super M, Mark got more busy
I never thought NCT's concept was difficult? the amount of members sounds intimidating but it's literally just a huge boy group with different subunits that's it

Same like sub-units are super common in kpop and a couple groups before them had "graduation"-like concepts
Right? Like I feel like some people make it seem way more complicated than it actually is lol
exactly?? ngl I knew all their names even before stanning them lmao
the dreams graduation system was such a good idea on paper, but considering the dreamies are teenagers and debuted together at a young age, it was like taking brothers away from each other and wasnt the best
It was never a good idea to me, the group will never have a core bond if you kept swapping members out

I recomend soft jun nct guides but this is enough for now 😍😍😍😍
FINALLYYYY , I AM WAITING FOR THIS FOR A LONG TIME
To sum it up:
NCT127: talented, cool, iconic
NCTDream: talented, chaotic, savage but still cute
WayV: talented, loud, crackheads on another level
WAIT YOU GUYS ARE LITERALLY MY FAVORITE REACTORS AND NOW UR GETTING INTO NCT TOO OMG
Once you understand the group, you'll like them for sure, they are very talented and unique
Omg I never clicked that fast 😂
Woww NCT ... I'm exicted 🥰
Yes stan NCT please 💚💚💚 proud exo-l and nctzen here love them both ❤️
Finally ya'll down to this 😭✋🏻💚
OMG FINALLY IVE WAITED FOR SO LONG!
i feel like some people make nct sound so complicated and it intimidates others and prevents them from getting into the group. its really not hard at all to understand imo and i learned them pretty fast without trying too hard bc i liked them so i just naturally watched them. i feel like the people who say "it took me a year" werent that interested in them for the whole year lol
yesss ive been waiting for this guide for so long😭
lol I was just about to go to bed when I see this. You're in for a long ass ride 😌
NCT World
NCT Life
NCT Presents
are awesome for learning about our guys 💚. Thank you for the fun reaction.
Yay I'm so excited for this NCT journey and I hope u post a lot on RUclips. For Patreon will u be posting NCT stuff this month?? And I would say start with the NCT 2020 Album and MVs because that way you get a feel for them all even the new ones. And then go back to the beginning with the albums and MVS
guys dont get too overwhelmed, tbh its not as hard as ppl make it seem, you’ll be fine with just watching random compilations haha
I'm new to this channel and I love how you react to kpop groups. hope you will react to nct's unhelpful guide each units. loveyou both😊
OH MY GOSH! YES, ANOTHER NCT CONTENT. I'M SO HAPPY! 💚
So excited for your NCT journey!
yeah, NCT
I actually learned their names and faces easily because of the funny videos. Like I just got attacked by them all
FINALLY YALL ARE GETTING INTO NCT
as an exo-l and nctzen, i say "WELCOME TO THE NEOCITY" guys :')
Bless you my good sirs! Getting to know NCT is something you won't regret! You should also know that this guide series does not include Sungchan and Shotatro since they were introduced a month later in September.
YEEEEES I WAS WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT
Oh, no. Mark is an OG member in all three units (u, 127 and dream) + superm. He's literally everywhere.
I'm soooo excited! They have SOOOOO MUCH CONTENT!
the units pretty much for the most part function as their own groups that overlaps & occasionally combine together or rotate members (nct u) ~because on charts and ranking and music show promotions/albums-they are separated as an individual groups as opposed to being looked at as actual units like other groups’ kinds
I don't know WHY SM think that idea of graduation was a good one. Super Junior (in 2005) should be a temporary group and actually the fans didn't like that sh*t. Why they tried that again? I feel so happy when they changed their minds.
oh my godd yesssss i was waiting for you guys to react to nct xD
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS I WAS WAITING FOR THISSSS OMGGG
thank you for reacting ^^ iam sure you guys will love their music and there are tons of creck videos!! dun forget to check it out!!
I watched ya'll get into iKON and now I'm really excited to watch your journey getting to know NCT :)
I'm dreaming? finally Nct, your journey will be incredible. you are the best i've watched all the Stray kids videos ❤️
NOOO WAYYYYYY😭😭😭😭 THANKKYOUUU SM💚💚💚💚
I was lucky to get into the group back in 2018 so there wasn’t as many members but I’m just gonna say if you have fun with it it’s easier to learn all the members instead of being too strict on yourself
10:31 *me when i'm pretending i finally understood NCT's whole division concept* 😂😂
I think it was learning NCT so quickly that has helped me since for smaller groups lol, like brain training.
you guys made my day huhu
we are called NCTzens (pronounced N-Citizens) because NCT sounds like N-City and we are its citizens ^^
