i always find funny that people are so mesmerized by tayeong sudden crazy dance in the rain at the end of the bridge that they miss the crazy high note taeil does and holds, hahah. nct(all units) has amazing vocalists(and rappers and dancers, which they're more known for). the one with the best technique and who usually does the longest high notes in 127 is taeil, the oldest, but they have 4 main vocalists: taeil, doyoung, jaehyun and haechan(the maknae)o nct 127 songs are usually more eletronic, hip hop and experimental, so you might hear some people call it ''noisy'' or needing to listen to a song a couple times to get used to it. i don't think that's bad, cuz they're bringing some new to the table and being risky. as for recommendations, lighter ones: highway to heaven, superhuman and touch. ballads: make your day and no longer. their typical sound: simon says and limitless. :)

In real life, Taeyong is really something else. Yuta is dripping sexuality in person. Jaehyun is also goodlooking more of princelike Johnny is the edgy one.
NCT definitely has some of SM Entertainment's vocal powerhouses. NCT 127's title tracks in particular does tend to be more rap based Hype songs, so you don't hear the vocals full potential. If you really want to hear their vocals, you have to listen to their B-sides like "No Longer" or "Highway to Heaven". Or listen to NCT U's ballad songs like "Without You", "From Home", and "Coming Home". Also please check out NCT's other units as well! NCT U (that unit includes all NCT members in various line ups depending on the song), WayV (Chinese unit) and NCT Dream (the "young ones" of NCT). They all have their own style and concept when it comes to music so don't judge all of NCT based on NCT 127. There's 23 members so they have a lot to show :)

And since the 10th member, winwin, has debuted in the chinese unite "WayV", hasn't showed up in recent NCT 127 activities. There is no statement from SM saying WinWin has left the NCT 127 yet. So we still consider him as a member of this unite. NCT Dream: Which included the youngest members in NCT. It has 7 members. It wasn't a fixed unit before and the members would have get graduated when they become adults. But then they changed it to a fixed unite and graduating from NCT dream isn't a thing anymore. It's a fixed member unite now. 😃 WayV: is the chinese unite. They promote in china but they're a part of NCT and they live together in south korea. WayV is the only unite not having "nct" in their name and that's because of some problems between the two countries (china and korea). But they are from NCT. And they showed up in NCT U last MV "resonance" showing they're still NCT and the rumours telling they're separate from NCT are BULS**T) NCT U is not a fixed unit. It doesn't have specific members. My faves are NCT U's "Without You", NCT 127's "Highway To Heaven" English version (that's the version that has an MV and it also flows better than the Korean version because the song was originally written in English), NCT 127's "Superhuman", and NCT 127's "Simon Says". The first three are definitely more on the vocal-heavy side and the last one is more of the "in your face" style but has a bridge that's really impressive vocally.

Actually, some of NCT 127 songs are a grower especially if you're not used to their sound yet. And yes, they have a specific sound called "127 sound" like when you hear their songs you'll immediately think "Yep, this is a 127 song and I can't think of any other group who can sing this song other than them", just like how you said Cherry Bomb is unique. 😃 As for me, I love Cherry Bomb the first time I listened to it. And yes, it will eventually grow on you especially if you watch their dance practice or their live stages. NCT is a balanced group to be honest. They have many to offer. They have a rap-heavy banger, a chill rap banger, a straight aggressive rap banger, a chill interesting bop, an eye bowling heart wrenching ballads, and songs that will just make you fall in love with them. In short, they are a very diverse group. These three that you picked are the rap-heavy bangers of 127. You will find most of their vocal songs in their b-sides (and btw, NCT in general have a very good sidetracks so you will definitely miss A LOT like A LOT if you won't listen to them) but we have Superhuman, Simon Says, Highway To Heaven (We have an Eng. Ver. for this so you can react to that), Touch, Taste The Feeling, Good Thing, Switch, Angel, Heartbreaker, Fly Away With Me (by the way, these are mix of title tracks and b-sides who happens to have self-made MV's). But please please listen to their b-sides (Neo Zone: The Final Round album is a good start for you). I won't tell you much now just so it would not spoil your expectations but you know, listening to SM b-sides is truly a must. First of all I really like that you’re honest. These were all very hype song for sure, they do have amazing rappers and vocalists. They have a lot of r&b and. Ballads too if that’s more your style. The reason there’s so many snares and noises in Gimme Gimme is because it’s a Moonshine track, Moonshine is a duo out of Sweden known for their “loud” or intricately layered sounding songs. Such as Naughty by Red Velvet Irene and Seulgi, RIDIN by NCT DREAM, Turn Back Time by WayV, Tiger Inside and One (Monster, Infinity) by SuperM Temptations by BoA and many more! (If you wanna check them out!) They always open with a audio saying “MoonShine” sometimes it’s hidden but if you listen close you can always hear it. They use it as an audio copyright of sorts, personally they are my favorite producers because they hide so many parts in their songs and even though they are “loud” they produce so many different variants.

i always find funny that people are so mesmerized by tayeong sudden crazy dance in the rain at the end of the bridge that they miss the crazy high note taeil does and holds, hahah. nct(all units) has amazing vocalists(and rappers and dancers, which they're more known for). the one with the best technique and who usually does the longest high notes in 127 is taeil, the oldest, but they have 4 main vocalists: taeil, doyoung, jaehyun and haechan(the maknae)o nct 127 songs are usually more eletronic, hip hop and experimental, so you might hear some people call it ''noisy'' or needing to listen to a song a couple times to get used to it. i don't think that's bad, cuz they're bringing some new to the table and being risky. as for recommendations, lighter ones: highway to heaven, superhuman and touch. ballads: make your day and no longer. their typical sound: simon says and limitless. :)
NCT has some more vocal centric tracks, too. Off the top of my head there's "Touch" (NCT 127), "Highway to Heaven" (NCT 127), "Superhuman" (NCT 127) "Yestoday" (NCT U - I say vocal centric but this song's verses are all rap BUT the chorus is so nice and imo it's the main feature of the song so), "From Home" (NCT U), "Without U" (NCT U) and Wayv's "Turn Back Time", "Moonwalk" and "Dream Launch"
The bridge of "Simon Says" is my favourite vocal part of all NCT, strongly recommended ! Also being struck by the visuals of Jaehyun is a rite of passage ahah

NCT definitely has some of SM Entertainment's vocal powerhouses. NCT 127's title tracks in particular does tend to be more rap based Hype songs, so you don't hear the vocals full potential. If you really want to hear their vocals, you have to listen to their B-sides like "No Longer" or "Highway to Heaven". Or listen to NCT U's ballad songs like "Without You", "From Home", and "Coming Home".
Also please check out NCT's other units as well! NCT U (that unit includes all NCT members in various line ups depending on the song), WayV (Chinese unit) and NCT Dream (the "young ones" of NCT). They all have their own style and concept when it comes to music so don't judge all of NCT based on NCT 127. There's 23 members so they have a lot to show :)

As you know NCT is a 23 member group (the number of the members may increase by time. For example This year they've added 2 new members) NCT has 4 unites.
NCT 127, NCT U, WayV, NCT dream.
NCT 127: has fixed members and is including 10 members of NCT. (Currently just 9 members are active in NCT 127. And since the 10th member, winwin, has debuted in the chinese unite "WayV", hasn't showed up in recent NCT 127 activities. There is no statement from SM saying WinWin has left the NCT 127 yet. So we still consider him as a member of this unite.
NCT Dream: Which included the youngest members in NCT. It has 7 members. It wasn't a fixed unit before and the members would have get graduated when they become adults. But then they changed it to a fixed unite and graduating from NCT dream isn't a thing anymore. It's a fixed member unite now. 😃
WayV: is the chinese unite. They promote in china but they're a part of NCT and they live together in south korea. WayV is the only unite not having "nct" in their name and that's because of some problems between the two countries (china and korea). But they are from NCT. And they showed up in NCT U last MV "resonance" showing they're still NCT and the rumours telling they're separate from NCT are BULS**T)
NCT U is not a fixed unit. It doesn't have specific members. Whenever NCT U is having a comeback it can be included of just 2 members or 10 and more. They just choose the members who fits the concept the most. Every single of NCT members can be in NCT U.
Fyi they have shared members. For example, mark is a NCT member and he is in both NCT dream and NCT 127. and haechan too. He is in both units.
In the end all the unites together, make NCT. Like the last MV they released at the late of 2020, resonance. It was a NCT comeback with the whole 23 members.

My faves are NCT U's "Without You", NCT 127's "Highway To Heaven" English version (that's the version that has an MV and it also flows better than the Korean version because the song was originally written in English), NCT 127's "Superhuman", and NCT 127's "Simon Says". The first three are definitely more on the vocal-heavy side and the last one is more of the "in your face" style but has a bridge that's really impressive vocally.

Actually, some of NCT 127 songs are a grower especially if you're not used to their sound yet. And yes, they have a specific sound called "127 sound" like when you hear their songs you'll immediately think "Yep, this is a 127 song and I can't think of any other group who can sing this song other than them", just like how you said Cherry Bomb is unique. 😃
As for me, I love Cherry Bomb the first time I listened to it. And yes, it will eventually grow on you especially if you watch their dance practice or their live stages.
NCT is a balanced group to be honest. They have many to offer. They have a rap-heavy banger, a chill rap banger, a straight aggressive rap banger, a chill interesting bop, an eye bowling heart wrenching ballads, and songs that will just make you fall in love with them. In short, they are a very diverse group.
These three that you picked are the rap-heavy bangers of 127.
You will find most of their vocal songs in their b-sides (and btw, NCT in general have a very good sidetracks so you will definitely miss A LOT like A LOT if you won't listen to them) but we have Superhuman, Simon Says, Highway To Heaven (We have an Eng. Ver. for this so you can react to that), Touch, Taste The Feeling, Good Thing, Switch, Angel, Heartbreaker, Fly Away With Me (by the way, these are mix of title tracks and b-sides who happens to have self-made MV's).
But please please listen to their b-sides (Neo Zone: The Final Round album is a good start for you). I won't tell you much now just so it would not spoil your expectations but you know, listening to SM b-sides is truly a must.

They use it as an audio copyright of sorts, personally they are my favorite producers because they hide so many parts in their songs and even though they are “loud” they produce so many different variants.
Touch is my fav NCT 127 song. Different sound from most of their stuff but it just instantly makes me happy.
