    @balak121. For this money you could buy a reasonable second hand lathe and milling machine and the materials to build a small loco. It is very gratifying, but takes a long time. I built a Maisie a Sweet Pea and a petrol driven 0 6 0 shunter which I designed myself. Then a vertical boiler to run a stationary oscillating engine.

    Wow.... it isn't much bigger than a toy train, but it runs the same way bigger, "real" engines do. This is the tiniest engine I've ever seen.

      закипел как чайник и даже водой плевался паровозик) Но удивлён что такой маленький и смог двух человек везти, всё-таки паровоз относительно лёгкий и не думал что его сцепления с рельсами хватит сдвинуть хотя бы.

    • @KR15MES
      @KR15MES 7 лет назад

      gotta keep looking round the internet regularly, not sure where you could buy one over there, in england we use Steam Workshop or maxitrak or station road steam or even ebay but there are a few crooks on there. non of them are cheap so if you want one cheap i suggest buying one thats ran down but needs doing up

    • @Priest57man
      @Priest57man 6 лет назад

      Minedyourself Gaming its very difficult to by a live steam in Australia as well as the USA because of the very unusual gauge and it’s literally impossible to by a CHEAP live steam locomotive

      +chubby7570 there is no such thing as cheap in the model railway hobby.. not by a long shot.

    • @Crimsonedge1
      @Crimsonedge1 8 лет назад +1

      +dylan palombo Cheap is about three to four grand which is about how much 'Alice' costs. And that's in pounds sterling. A decent 4-6-4 or 4-6-0 will cost the wrong side of ten grand and that's in medium condition. Apart from a few of the cheaper mass produced stuff which you want to steer clear of, pretty much every loco was a commission job by some model steam engineer often lovingly and jealously guarded and traded amongst the avid collectors.
      Take a look at http: // www. steamdays. co. uk/ (link address minus the spaces). You'll also find others if you google 5" or 7 1/4" live steam)
      There's a few dubious trains on offer but if you look a few pages in their current stock, you'll find some lovely 5"-7 1/4" models. They're not cheap though although a nice investment if you have a local track at a park you can use. Charge a few small coins for rides on the train during the summer months and you should be able to cover your future maintenance costs should it prove popular. If not, and unless you have your own shop with tools, lathes and what not, then expect it to be almost as costly a hobby as keeping a light aircraft.

    You start of with too much water and every time we get a close up of the back head you have too little water.
    Water is the main thing you check not the fire.
    next time water first then do what you want to the fire.
