And exactly 2 months later, da cat is back. Except this time, I made a video teaching you how I make my infamous Garry's Mod films. COOL HUH
Try to bare with my voice as well as seeing my gorgeous face for a whole two seconds. I designed most of this tutorial to be centered around Sony Vegas, so if you do not have it and would like to follow along properly, you can go snag a trial. Or if you use other programs, you'll probably find a workaround. If not, LOL GOOD LUCK
Also I'd like to thank those lovely lads during the live-action sequences (we used to make videos together a long time ago), so it was a nice sense of nostalgia. Anyway, hope you learn something from this. If you do not, my videos will forever remain a mystery to you.

@@jcpalmtree6079 The fact that he knew how to do these kinda things at such a young age in school is amazing too. He really changed the game and pioneered what gmod videos are as we know today. Glad I knew him when he was alive. I don't know if it was what he truly wanted to do in life but it is what it is and I believe this was his true purpose. He died a legend to the community and Inspired a lot of people and gmods not going anywhere anytime soon because of the memory of him.

I just heard about the post just recently. This is so sad--- this man bought the biggest smile on my face though many videos... From the famous, "Team Fabulous" to "Moments with Heavy. Each video showed commitment to his work and his passion. Kitty0706 surely brought fantastic entertainment to the Garry's Mod community and he shall be remembered for that.

Probably the best piece of advice in this video. I can't help but cringe at how many amazing Gmod and SFM videos are ruined by using stock CS and TF2 sound effects over and over.

This is the best tutorial I have seen for anything, ever. Not just informative and helpful, but also funny, quick to the point, exceptionally well edited and absolutely entertaining. I have no intention to create Gmod animations and I still come back to watch this every now and then because of how funny it is. All Tutorials should be like this. It makes them more memorable.

The first time I've watched a kitty0706 video in a long while, just coming to the page every other time made me sad. Kitty and Monty Oum were two of my biggest inspirations to make whatever I wanted because I liked doing it and make it the best I could with the tools that are given to me.

.flv is fantastic as well. It has a tiny filesize, uploads to RUclips brilliantly and in full HD, and judging from experience so far RUclips can also perform a fantastic 2D to 3D conversion on it (which did actually happen quite recently when a friend uploaded a GMod video that we both worked on to RUclips).

That Scott Pilgrim music is too good.
The Stereo Mix trick does technically work in Windows 7 as well, but it's a bit more complicated. In Control Panel, go to Sound==>Recording, and set Stereo Mix as the default record device. Then go into whatever thing you use for recording... and set the input device to /Line In/ if it doesn't give you Stereo Mix as an option already.
Basically, you're tricking Windows into treating the speaker output as a pseudo-microphone. Works for basically anything, and in fact is mandatory for CamStudio.
Rather than the plenty of comedic effects, what he actually talks about is really informative.
Series he makes and parodies actually has a story which is only made better by the exaggeration. Love it

Some of this is really solid advice. When doing lip-sync it is good to have video of yourself or whoever is speaking the lines to look at. More so than using a mirror. Record it at the same time you record the voice acting. This way you also get facial expressions or even body language as a lot of people act out the words with more than just their voice
