- Vacuum tire repair nail kit demonstration. This tubeless tire repair kit is designed for emergency puncture repairs on cars, motorcycles and other vehicles. This small tire repair screw is for repairing a 1mm to 3mm hole and the larger size screw is for repairing 3mm to 5mm holes. Use the small one if your car or motorcycle tire is punctured with a small & thin nail. If the nail is larger, then use the bigger size. In this video I am only demonstrating how to use the repair kit. I am not endorsing or recommending the use of the kit as a permanent tire repair. these screws are very good i used two times with rubber glue on them and it take 5 minites to fix tyre after removing nail, screws are two sizes small and large you must have them because some time nail size is bigger.90% you dont need to remove tyre, these screws are good to used by old men and women,if you are young then use rubber plugs they are batter then screws and most important thing is you must have air compressor in you car
I always use a glue solvent as an extra precaucaution...👍
Nothing beats a tire repair like the "sticky" cord insertion when it's done correctly !
Vulcanization is more fiability and secure
Change tyre best one.. good grip@@user-sy9xd2yr6x
This works fine guys, but keep in mind, this is ONLY A TEMPORARY fix.
As soon as you can have access to a tire shop you should fix the tire properly
I try Sticky cord, mushroom plug and this small screw is the best (for small nails and screws). As easy as you see in the video, 4 month past and still no leaks. Small wonder
Ive got one in my tyre and its been in there nearly 2 years 😂 no problems at all 😊
Yes they do work very well , I keep these in my truck and motorcycle .
My neighbour gave me one to use yesterday and I screwed it in. I hope it holds for a while..
I have some in my saddle bag along with a bicycle pump about 5 inches long. I figured I can get enough air in it to get home. My last set of tires on my Harley I got a bolt in the back tire. When I put the new ones on I made my spoke wheels tubeless with 3M marine 5200. Now I can plug instead of patching the tube. Last one I slimmed the tube and it lasted until I changed them. Didn’t want to go 80mph on slime.
I used them and they work, I just don't know how many kilometers you can drive but I went to the vulcanization and they fixed the lack of a spare wheel at the moment, it's worth having
Have 15000 miles on repair still no leak
I was stuck with a small hole in my motorcycle rear tire and no way to fix it or have it fixed. I screwed in a large ( number 12 IIRC ) sheet metal screw. Unfortunately, I did not have any rubber cement or I would have appled some to the threads. The tire never lost any air until I had the tire replaced. The use of a sheet metal screw is important because the screw shank is mostly straight and has deep, coarse threads unlike a wood screw which has a slight taper and finer and shallower threads.
3 weeks on rear tire of my Scooter, everything it's ok!
How many more weeks did u get before tire deflate going round a corner?
I cant do that cause every time I walk pass my tire and see that nail I'm gonna be like fuck got a screw in my tire
Thats ok for a quick fix and it might get you home or a shop to patch it. I will probably get a pack to put in the glovebox.
That's all I'd recommend it for myself.
I think the screw you took out was more secure 😂
🤣😹👍
I know 😄
it’s was but metal will damage the tyre more and won’t mold with the heat.
this is bolt special for tublesss not bolt common
@@IndonesiaRayaOfficiall where can we get it in India?
I think it's very helpful in emergency situation. I Saw recently similar type made of rubber material it is from China
I agree, it would do as a short term fix.
Thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊
Wow! I like it.
Thank you! Cheers!
Great to get you home or to a Garage
Yeah that the only way I'd use it 👍
For how long will this survive?
I tried this this afternoon and the coating came off as I screwed it in. Is there a prescribed optimum temperature requirement?
How is it holding?
I wouldn’t use this on a car tire but a lawnmower or atv tire, I think it will last longer and be more effective than a standard rubber plug. I assume they come in larger sizes as well in case you run over a larger object and get a bigger hole. The advantage of this over your standard rubber plug is the plug uses adhesive to work, not always effective in a dirty environment.
There are two different sizes. I would only use it in an emergency and for as short a trip as possible.
I noticed a slight air leak. TINY foamy suds indicates air escaping.
@@knobsdialsandbuttons
Hi.
Do you need to lube with grease first, would it help?
Thanks..
is this screw made of metal with rubber sealent on it?
Yes I think so
what was the point ? you might have just left original screw in. Either way this fix is emergency only
I did it with my car and now 3 weeks. Can't see any leak.
I would only use it as a temporary repair myself, just to be on the safe side :)
"The design is very human"
Hello, are those rubber nails you just used small or large? Trying to purchase some like your but don’t know the size. Thank you.
Hi, This was a small rubber nail
@@knobsdialsandbuttons Thank you so much.
umm people its a quick fix ONLY to get you home and then you go get your puncher fixed properly! its a emergency kit not a permanent fix
You guys understand that he says "emergency repair" not to be driven for an extended period
Hi if we used this, this is supposed to be a temporary fix right? Still need to get to a repair shop to get it fixed again right? Or we can leave it as is and all is good?
Yes I would only use it as an emergency repair and then get the tire patched from the inside, just to be sure
@@knobsdialsandbuttons thanks 👍
You're welcome !
Any way of reparing it permanently?
The only sure way to do that is to remove the tire and have it plugged and patched from the inside
Hell if you are capable of doing this than just use the old plug style which would be a lot better and last you longer LOL
not really,
I'm a tire specialist and this is not a permanent fix, it's essentially a temporary fix until you can get it patched.
If all screws had sealant, we could save a couple of steps
LOL :)
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏👏👏👏👍
Dayyum...
Can it be unscrewed?
It can
Emergency....yes ...better than nothing....😀
As a temporary fix perhaps. Definitely wouldn't trust it as a permanent repair
I totally agree 👍
جيد
Thank you
What if theres a leak? You remove and place another one?
How long does it last ?
I would only use such a repair to get me to a tire shop and have it patched.
Strictly a temporary fix. I would, at first chance, get to a tire shop to patch the backside of puncture.
I agree 100%
So I can just put sealant on a screw and do the same thing.
I wouldn't advise doing that. I'm only demonstrating this kit by the way. I didn't design it and I don't sell it :)
@@knobsdialsandbuttons I was kidding ..good video btw
I took the idea and wrapped part of string of tyre repair sticky string and it plugged the hole leak proof. I just need to see how long it lasts. 😐
×××one month passed. Still holding air. No leaks.
WHATS ON THE SCREW LIKE A GLUE OR SOMETHING?? I JUST GOT MY 1ST SET :)
It's like a soft silicone sealant
@@knobsdialsandbuttons COOL THABKS BUDDY!
you need to buy rubber glue with screws
why not just take out the screw and apply some sealant and put it back?
That would probably work, but I'm just demonstrating this kit :)
It seems to have sealant in the screws threads
I would recommend always having an air pump in the boot of your vehicle. You never know when you might need one.
Hey bro from where i can place order of this material
www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=SB_20211110124459&SearchText=tire+nail+repair
i bought them from ebay there are two sizes i bought 10 each
Why is it called vaccuum?
Would work in a pinch but I would change it for a plug or patch as soon as possible.
Yeah that's pretty much what it's used for. I certainly wouldn't leave it in there for long !
Hmmm no alcohol rub first.
As long as you are not using it for racing or drifting your cars, it will work just fine. This is for a 'common' cars used in or between cities with asphalt road.
My car doesn't have a jack or spare tire. I keep a compressor and sticky repair kit in the trunk. But sometimes it's hard to fix with the tire on the car.
I just bought a pack of 100 with a stubby screwdriver to keep in the trunk. Hopefully I never have to use it.
I try it, excellent and easy than any other method.
Get yourself a jack and a spare tire ASAP. The screw won’t help if your tire gets slashed or blows out.
@@darryljones6129 Many cars do not have a spare tire these days. Including mine. Especially small cars.
Modern Teck Tambal ban
Gyakorlatilag az előző csavar is maradhatott volna benne.
it is still a hole with a screw on it !!!!!
so, take a screw out of the tire and replace it with a screw with some sealant on it.. of course, if it comes out while driving down the road, it becomes someone else's problem ..
I'm just demonstrating how to use the kit.
@@knobsdialsandbuttons We get that. This is a product that needs to die though. Anyone who has used a tire plug knows that they have issues of their own but they aren't going to be a road hazard when they fail. They are a bit annoying to use but they work; so there is practically no need for these in the first place.
Looks like they are plastic , so I don't understand them being a road hazard IF they came out ?
I just ordered some. I don't think If you drove over these that they would stick in your tyre. The rubber outer of the screw is to grippy the screw would bounce off/out. Also the screw is stubby, very short. That combined with the grippy rubber, it would be very hard to pierce the tyre.
They are made of rubber not metal. So they are not hazard
Thought I saw bubbles .. didn't look good
It was just the fluid settling. I checked the pressure a few days later and it was unchanged.
Hmmm with the screw of course it'll hold since you inserted a screw before and it made some kinda thread how about demonstrate with a nail 🤔
It'll work the same. The repair screw will make new threads as it's inserted. I'm only demonstrating it by the way. I'm not promoting or selling it so I'm not trying to trick anybody. Ok ?
Why is it called a "Vacuum" Tire Repair kit?
This will work better if you add tire glue to it.
No tire rubber cement
No, not with this kit
One thing what's funny is - in emergency on the road you can hope to have these and sopy water in the trunk :D
Just put your ear up close to the hole, you’ll hear if air is escaping.
@@gregrowe1168 with highway car flying noise I’m sure u will hear it
A quick old tip from DIY bicycle repairs : A good old large saliva spit on the whole to check if there's still an air leak or not :) For the kit it self, I t cost nothing to have some of these tools proactively in your car
@@promethee89 ...that´s right - just spit on it and it will show you a leak as well!
Saliva works too. Coz you always have them on you. Lol
Just put a good amount in your hand and wipe it on the repair work and check for bubbles.
Funny you replaced a screw with another screw
retoricle
Of course there's no air coming out - you didn't put any IN!!
The tire was at about 35psi. There was plenty of air in there
Still leak
Would be better if you put glue on the screw ..
Screw that!!
lol :)

It has glue on rubble nail. Good for seniors or ladies to handle, no AAA
😁🤣🤣🤣
Лучше бы ты его жвачкой залепил.😂
I used these ,and are useless
It is leaking
This just TEMPORARY to get you home safe, then put a real tire plug and unsafe the screw for next time ..
n
I doent trust in this . This is not a option. Pls change the tire safety first
Useless ! Wasn't it was better Before Screw... Why unecessary Take out First Screw and Put Another again
It’s basically like taking a regular screw and putting a rubber gasket over it to seal it. Normal screws aren’t meant to be airtight, they’re just meant to be fasteners. They hold things together but if you want the bond to be airtight, like say on a roof, you need to apply some sort of sealant over the screw. And that would only work if it doesn’t move. A moving object like a tire would chip that off pretty quickly. The seal needs to be inside the tire.
If you pay attention to it you will see that it's still leaking he keeps spraying water so you don't see it but for someone like me that work with tires everyday I can see that I still leaking, don't buy this product, is garbage.
Why would I try to hide anything ?. I don't sell the product, I'm just demonstrating how to use it.
I also see it. I ride a Honda Goldwing. The last thing I need is a little rubber screw popping out at 60 miles per hour on the highway. Plugs then replace the tire asap for motorcycles. This system is inadequate for highway vehicles.
It’s not leaking. You just don’t want it to work. I’d use one in a heartbeat.
@@sdmackpictures you might be riding around right now with something in your tire and don’t even know it.
Another stupid idea .
Not my idea. I'm just demonstrating it :)
what a noob idea hahaha
How long does it last?
I would only use it as a temporary repair to get you to a tire shop and have it patched
Two days ago, I had a real situation with a screw puncture.
I fixed it with this repair screw and drove then 750 km, mainly with 130 km/h, momentarily even up to 155 km/h.
The screw worked fine, no problem by now.
Just for the record: why not fixing it otherwise? Because I was abroad, not understanding the language, and I hat to reach a meeting in time. The repair took me 10 minutes.
