Wikipedia was actually a paid service back in 2006. It only became free later on.

Actually, in VtM, Harry Houdini, or at least a vampire claiming to be such, was Embraced into Clan Tremere and faked his death, although the fate of this Houdini is uncertain. Ever since, 'Houdini' has been used as both an alias by other Tremere and the magically inclined of other Clans, as well as a nickname for said practitioners of blood magic.
So D has apparently killed Houdini and gets triggered at the thought his old enemy might have somehow survived.

That's a very amusing mental image. It's like whack-a-mole but with vampire wizards.

1:58 the internal organs turning into just blood except for the heart is a thing that some vampire learn to do. It allows them to move their hearts around to avoid getting staked.

I gotta learn how to do that one. Would really help me in case a priest tries to tackle me onto a wooden stake like what happened to Vlad von Carstein.

"Everything must add up or you will be subtracted from the equation" is such a powerful line, I never get tired of it.

oh yeah, 13th gen. are basically human+ with the bare minimum of supernatural abilities, while the 3rd gen... well, they can tank a magical nuke so powerful it caused damage in the afterlife. They had to evacuate half a nation and claim it was a tsunami to cover it up.
btw, i'm fairly sure that the statblock for 2nd gen (according to some tidbits of lore, there culd be 2 of them alive but sleeping). just states "you die"
btw, a Metuselah is generally generation 4-6, while the 3rd gen are called Antideluvians

I just realized that this audiolog is basically how Asmodai does interrogation. Just replace the pan with a crozius.

Referring to all the backstabbing by Manfred. I honestly think he was raised by Skaven with how much of a scheming turncoat he is.

So Thinbloods, i.e. vampires of such weak blood that they barely qualify as vampires(not to be confused with Ghouls, i.e. living humans empowered by ingesting vampire blood), are essentially a universal mutation in all Cainite Clans and Bloodlines. In Ye Olden Times of VtM, Thinbloods would appear sporadically, and it was assumed by many vampires that there was a certain point where Thinbloods were simply the only result of high-generation Embrace. The appearance of Thinbloods tends to happen around the 9th or 10th Generation, and for many years it was assumed that the 12 Generation was the limit before you'd only get Thinbloods. While this is largely accurate, there ARE 13th Generation vampires who are not Thinbloods, and so the veracity of the 12 Generation limit has been called into question. That said, there are several prophecies surrounding Thinbloods as the harbingers of Gehenna, AKA vampire Armageddon, so very few Ancillae and even fewer Methuselahs want to push their luck.
For clarification of terminology, Fledglings are obviously newly turned vampires. Once a Fledgling has survived a few years, or when they've been recognized to not be the vampire equivalent of toddlers, they are generally referred to as Neonates, although the two are kind of interchangeable in casual discussion and Neonate is just considered more polite and respectful. Once a vampire has survived a century or two, or otherwise demonstrated their value and ability to survive, they will be considered an Ancilla, which is essentially an adult in vampire society. Ancillae are generally considered as such for a few more centuries, up until around a thousand years or so, at which point they will be considered old even by vampire standards and declared as a Methuselah. The Antediluvians are specifically 3rd Generation Methuselahs who survived the biblical flood, hence the term, and they are also the founders of the modern Clans and are essentially living gods.
