Hey, heroes! I'm streaming on Twitch again this weekend! On Saturday I'm potentially getting closer to the end of Final Fantasy II, then on Sunday, I'll be making some story progress in Yakuza Kiwami! www.twitch.tv/merrymarvelite
You said in the video that these videos get less views. Thats unfortunate because my 9 year old daughter and I have been following your channel for a couple years now. We’ve watch all of your videos and these ones are always our favorites to watch. Please keep doing them periodically.
I'm surprised videos of this format get fewer views. I love the anthology episodes. I used to collect reprints of EC comics, and this brings back lots of memories for me. On a side note, the hard work you put into your videos is evident in every single one, and I really appreciate it!
I really liked the addition of the complete publishing history of the title "Strange Tales". These stories from before the Ageof Heroesare things I would never have encountered if not for these videos. Any chance for a video on RED NORVILLE, the red headed Thor stand in? As always, MAKE MINE THE MERRY MARVELITE!!!!
These spooky Atlas era stories always are so enjoyable. Thank you for continuing to share them! I love the classic art styles, the storylines and even learning that some are still remembered/relevant to modern tales 💜
I hate that these videos get less views, they are probably my favorite (though, I watch and love every one you do). Also, your voice got sexy(er) in this video, lol.
These anthology videos are actually my favorites and one of the reasons I subscribed. The other being your yummy voice. 😍 Which is so much yummier than usual.
The last vampire tale reminds of the kinds of endings we would see in Goosebumps books. My favorites have to be the Death erasing people and the City Morgue story.
This series has quickly become my favorite part of your channel. I know these videos probably don't get the greatest numbers, but I do hope you'll continue doing them from time to time.
Good evening Mr Marvelite this is Karen from Santa Ana CA and a subscriber of three yesrs first time commenter. I felt compelled to write and wish uou a happy holiday and Happy New Year before it arrives next Tuesday. I have always been impressed by your rsdio voice and down to esrth manner and hard worrk and hours you put into msking these videos. Not to mention your labour of love in doing so. These bring back memories of my childhood when I used to go buy Marvel comics in particular Thor Iron Man and some DC. But as in this particular video I also remember the scary ones or so I thought at that time like horror comics snd the one called Erie tales and tales from the crypt that I found so scary that I refused to look st the comics rack in that particular direction while reading my usuals Lololol. So Sir thank you for your love of the older comics particularly Marvel and your painstaking work into the history as such. I sm looking forward to your content of the coming year of the old faithful s because gentlemen like you are keeping the old school comics in their rightful place in comic book history. Not these so called diverse and race and gender swapping aberrations that do not honor their original legacy or intentions of their creators or the boys and girls who in that era regardless of race or gender who loved comic book characters because they were good people who helped others and were models for all. God bless you and EXCELSIOR
Love these old stories, currently doing a reread of all the Marvel I can find, starting back in these early days. I'm up to 1968 or so but I remember most of these stories up was good to here you describe them.
I don't comment much on any video but I wanted to let you know that I ADORE these little anthology tales, both as a horror geek and as a fan of comics history, they're really fun and i'd hate to see you stop making them!
Unless it's already happened, some of these could be revisted in the Marvel Age. Especially the one concerning the three men disappearing from existence.
I will never understand why these get fewer views these are so awesome. Wish they’d make a show out of these. I really hope to see more of the in the future.
Your channel embodies classic comicbooky goodness and I love it. Do you know of anyone who does what you do but for DC? Would love learnin some classic DC like this too.
Hi MerryMarvelite, I love your Strange Tales videos! Please make more videos like this! 🤩🤩 Happy holidays and happy new year! I can't wait to your 2024 videos! 🎄🎅🏻🕎🎉🎊

"The Man That Never Was." reminded me of the Twilight Zone episode: " And When The Sky Was Opened. " I wonder if either Rod Sterling or Richard Matheson ever read that comic book. I love anthologies, please do more.
Merry Christmas and happy new year. Can you do history of the characters mentioned in this video? When are you going to do history of the Asgardian Destroyer since that got the same amount of votes as Hulkling?
Kirby and Ditko did a Lot of these Old Non Hero Stories with Inkers that Didn't ink their work in the Hero Comics so it Looks kinda Like their work yet different.
Can you do history of the Beyonder, Crossfire, Living Laser, Iron Monger, Titanium Man, Crimson Dynamo, Whiplash, Ultimo, Darkhawk, Union Jack, Annihilus, the Badoon and the Broods?
Can you do history of the A-Force, U-Foes, Excalibur team, the Ultimates team, Starjammers, Alpha Flight, the Annihilators, the Invaders, the Squadron Supreme, Doom Maidens, the Midnight_Sons, Young Avengers, Dark Avengers, Masters of Evil, the Thunderbolts and the Champions?

Can you do origin of the Grim Reaper, Quicksilver, Devondra, Sentry, Mr Immortal, Captain Universe, Dreadknight, Deathcry, Blizzard, Starhawk, Flerken, Whirlwind, Chemistro, Whiplash, Ronan the Accuser, Ego the Living Planet, the Living Tribunal and Palibok the Power Skrull along with Avenger-X and the Protector?
The last story reminded me of a movie set in a similar way the man was changed to a woman and that movie was either call the Creeeper In the Basment or The Beast Under The Stairs about a young girl worse appearance was scary and chilling her father and mother kept her locked away from people, you see like that story she was born half human and vampire, a curse placed unpon her by birth being related to a vampire through her father side the family. Her tale ends similar to the story. However, her tale ends with a darker end, and the home is living in burns down, leaving no doubt she was dead? The shadows' story also reminded me of another character in the main marvel universe the Vanisher I recall his got two origins in Marvel Universe, one similar to this story and the other his a mutant and post these stories there's another character call Spot a character with a similar name?
Can you do origin of the Brood, the Gladiator, Hyperion, Star-Splendor, Havok, Vulcan, Jackal, Stingray, Quasar, Squirrel_Girl, Ultimus, Kly'bn, Kitty Pryde, Yotat, Dr.Faustus, Annihilus and Tryco Slatterus the Champion of the Universe?
the man who never was was an episode of an old anthology show I just can't remember which lol I think shock theater or one of the lesser known ones as soon as the first guy disappeared I recognized it
How long till you finish doing White Tiger: legacy of the Tiger by doing the history of Ava Ayala White Tiger who's the daughter of Hector Ayala? Can you do the history of Intelligencia in honour of the She-Hulk Disney Plus show?

www.twitch.tv/merrymarvelite
I just figure that if any of the stories don't contradict anything that happens later, they may as well have happened.
I love when you do these spooky Marvel Tales
You said in the video that these videos get less views. Thats unfortunate because my 9 year old daughter and I have been following your channel for a couple years now. We’ve watch all of your videos and these ones are always our favorites to watch. Please keep doing them periodically.

Not many know that Christmas Eve was traditionally a night to tell ghost stories.
It figures something like that
I guess not many people listen to the lyrics of nearly all the christmas songs.
I extremely loved these ones I could listen to a couple hours worth of these
Marvel's Strange Tales is like their version of EC comic's Tales from the Crypt 💀
I really look forward to your videos. They give me hope and enjoyment. Being a loner it fills my days thank Merry Marvelite
Welcome to the club bro 😎
Loved Strange Tales...also a welcome read in-between my Spider-Man, X-Men, Avengers, Defenders issues..
These are my favourite episodes
Mine to can’t believe these don’t get that many views
I love these overviews of older comic horror stories!!!

I love listening to these
I really like these type of videos.
George!!!!! That would be a great deep cut for Marvel to revisit! Hopefully we see George again sometime soon! George vs. Blade! Lol
These anthology videos are actually my favorites and one of the reasons I subscribed. The other being your yummy voice. 😍 Which is so much yummier than usual.
How long have you been here and your right close to Morgan freeman
Maybe it's my love of horror anthologies talking, but I don't see how this series doesn't get more love. Because I think it's great!
Love these videos! They keep me subscribed
The last vampire tale reminds of the kinds of endings we would see in Goosebumps books. My favorites have to be the Death erasing people and the City Morgue story.
I love these episodes, they r great to just listen to & getting a different piece of the mcu history
This series has quickly become my favorite part of your channel. I know these videos probably don't get the greatest numbers, but I do hope you'll continue doing them from time to time.

Always love these. A great look into early Marvel.
Unless it's already happened, some of these could be revisted in the Marvel Age. Especially the one concerning the three men disappearing from existence.

Love these videos ‼️
Idk if Merry is sick, but his voice sounds so strong and dark knight-ish
i loveit!excellent job as always!
Happy holidays 🥳
"Investigating the personification of death" as a career.
These are more interesting to me than most of the characters origins. This portion of comic history doesn't get enough love.
Hi MerryMarvelite, I love your Strange Tales videos! Please make more videos like this! 🤩🤩
Happy holidays and happy new year! I can't wait to your 2024 videos! 🎄🎅🏻🕎🎉🎊
Mfs dont kno wat good content is, keep doing yo thang mane. Our linguistic style may be different but we got the same heart for comics, yo narrative style gotta nostalgic feel to it. I love yo work brotha keep shinin, u gon be number #1 one day.
These old stories suspiciously remind me of the Twilight Zone. 🌀
"The Man That Never Was." reminded me of the Twilight Zone episode: " And When The Sky Was Opened. " I wonder if either Rod Sterling or Richard Matheson ever read that comic book. I love anthologies, please do more.
thankk going to try to read these classic comic
These are my favorite books, my father had a lot of these books, so definitely my favorite. Until you do Elfquest
Loved this.
Really like the weird and horrific anthology videos. I also like when you do some history of the comic, Marvel or Atlas history. Anyway, thanks!
I understand videos with more well-known characters must do better, but I have a soft spot for these obscure curiosities type of videos.
Marvel Should do a Strange Tales Disney+ series every October under the Marvel Spotlight banner
Merry Christmas and happy new year. Can you do history of the characters mentioned in this video?
When are you going to do history of the Asgardian Destroyer since that got the same amount of votes as Hulkling?
Good stories.
This contents great
CAN YOU MAKE VIDS ON EXODUS AND GLADIATOR PLEASE!!! Many THNX
Are you going to do history of Ironheart, M'Baku, Namora, Attuma and Shuri as the Black Panther since they played a major role in the Black Panther Wakanda Forever movie?
Since you did the History of the Mandarin and Fin_Fang_Foom, can you do history of Ultimo as well as the Shang-Chi villain known as the Death_Dealer?
Please more horror tales.
Personally I prefer the one focused on a single character. These stories feel like they are centered on a twist. Said twist is often a tad random.
This was sweet 🎂
Can you do origin of the Grim Reaper, Quicksilver, Devondra, Sentry, Mr Immortal, Captain Universe, Dreadknight, Deathcry, Blizzard, Starhawk, Flerken, Whirlwind, Chemistro, Whiplash, Ronan the Accuser, Ego the Living Planet, the Living Tribunal and Palibok the Power Skrull along with Avenger-X and the Protector?
I wish marvel made more of these
What do you think is the best thing about these stories? What would happen if we saw these stories being adapted on the Big Screen or TV Shows?
now these are these are the stories marvel studios need to adapt to the mcu
Can you do storm origin story how she learned to control her mutant powers from a witch doctor
The shadows' story also reminded me of another character in the main marvel universe the Vanisher I recall his got two origins in Marvel Universe, one similar to this story and the other his a mutant and post these stories there's another character call Spot a character with a similar name?
maybe its cos im dumb or cos i only get TPB's but i had no idea that there was a legacy comic number
Can you do origin of the Brood, the Gladiator, Hyperion, Star-Splendor, Havok, Vulcan, Jackal, Stingray, Quasar, Squirrel_Girl, Ultimus, Kly'bn, Kitty Pryde, Yotat, Dr.Faustus, Annihilus and Tryco Slatterus the Champion of the Universe?
the man who never was was an episode of an old anthology show I just can't remember which lol I think shock theater or one of the lesser known ones as soon as the first guy disappeared I recognized it
The Dial City Morgue sounded similar to Death Note at the beginning
What would happen if Eric Brooks aka Blade stepped in to save his fellow half vampire from that basement?
How long till you finish doing White Tiger: legacy of the Tiger by doing the history of Ava Ayala White Tiger who's the daughter of Hector Ayala? Can you do the history of Intelligencia in honour of the She-Hulk Disney Plus show?
Why was that guy's shadow running away from him? I didn't get that part.
What would happen if we saw these stories being adapted on the Big Screen or TV Shows?
