Golden age content is always great! It has a clearheaded style and it's approach to the "weird" is always satisfying in a way that more modern horror (often relying on the abysmal "the writer wants everyone to figure out for themselves what it means" crutch) frequently does not.
I would love to see more Vintage Marvel content. It stories told before the Silver Age began are so fascinating, and it's a great way to catalogue it for newer generations.
The fact that some of the old big monsters from the Atlas days have come back to the modern marvel universe makes me chillingly certain that most if not all of these other stories could fully take place within the Marvel canon as we know it.
I say if you're gonna cover Marvel, do it big time including the Atlas years. You already covered Fin Fang Foom and It, The Living Colossus. What about some of the other monsters? Just a thought. Love the channel BTW
Longtime watcher... subscribed because of this one. More like it, please. DC Witching Hour, EC and imitators, Charlton Midnight Tales, Gold Key Twillght Zone, Marvel Tower of Shadows....
How about a History of the Headmen; their individual origins were originally anthology stories from Marvel classics, then brought together in the Defenders series with Ruby Thursday.
Great job on the video. I'm not personally into scary/horror, but these were still well done. It is interesting that these horror tales (except the last) would now fit in as just everyday tales (though actually less graphic) that could be found in any comic, even ones like Superman or Spider-Man. I'd love if you did your magic sci fi anthology tales from the same era.
Can you do history of the Elementals(Hellfire, Magnum, Hydron and Zephyr), Bastion, Master Mold, Nimrod, Inferno, Victorious, Gambit, Moondragon, Phyla_Vell and Genis-Vell along with the Supreme Intelligence, Mole_Man and Angel/Archangel along with Exodus and Ex-Nhilo?
Supermegamonkey convinced me that the early Ant Man and Doctor Strange stories happen in the hero gap. I have a fan theory about those Ant Man stories.
Are you going to do history of lesser known characters like Rom_the_Spaceknight, Stingray, Ultimo, Inferno, Victorious, Flerken, Blacklash, Deathlok, Elematrix, Vertigo, Titanium_Man, Crimson Dynamo, Dreadknight, Hypnotia, Blizzard, Quasar, Starbrand, Nightmask, Bastion, Master Mold, Nimrod, Starhawk, Fixer, Whirlwind, Chemistro, Whiplash, the Controller, Madam_Masque, Count_Nefaria, Ava Ayala the White Tiger, Century, Lore and Technovore?
Can you do history of the Living_Brain, the Elementals, Cyclone, Hydro Man, Molten Man, the Spot, Sandman, Rom_the_Spaceknight, Stingray, Quasar, Starbrand, Nightmask, Ava Ayala the White Tiger, Century, Lore and Technovore?
@@Supremmo this channel only did the origin of White Tigers Hector Ayala and Angela Del Toro but not Ava Ayala White Tiger. Apart from the Comics, Ava Ayala White Tiger played a major role in the Ultimate Spider-Man TV Show
Can you do history of Master Pandemonium, Sleepwalker, D'Spayre, Chthon, Mephisto, Dormammu, Clea, Shuma-Gorath, Nightmare, Baron Mordo, the Ancient One, Agamotto and Pkzkrfmknna along with Firestar and Vance_Astrovik AKA Justice?
Can you do history of Ironheart, Jane Foster Thor, Eric Masterson_AKA_Thunderstrike, Amadeus_Cho, the Griever, Pepper Potts AKA Rescue and the Agents of Atlas along with Crescent, Morgan_Le_Fey, White Fox and Luna Snow?
the last one would've made a great Twilight Zone episode. Or maybe they could do a separate series featuring these stories apart from just superheroes? hmmm...
If you're diving into 1950s stories, when Marvel was known as Atlas Comics, why not do a video or video series on the Agents of Atlas? You could do each of them individually and then do a video on the team, MCU-style.
I know i need to use the patreon put i cant afford it. On the offchance your reading this, can you either do a a history of M.O.D.O.K, black heart, Mephisto, Quasimodo, unus the untouchable, absorbing man, the vanished, ego the living planet, alester smythe, sin, agamoto, Arnim zola, or the red ghost and his super apes???

They had to have been inspired by Tales from the Crypt, all these stories have the same feel
Can you do different characters from the Spider-Verse event
Hello Mr. MerryMarvelite thank you for the great work you do. But i was wondering if you know of any your DC or indie counterparts you can link me to?
yes you should continue to do these
Marvel got a horror anthology right here, all the stories Marvel has, honestly they can never run out of big/small screen ideas
Yeah there's untapped potential with these 40s and 50s stories before the marvel age began with fantastic four in 1961.
I would say continue. The newest and next generation need to know about all the stories Marvel has done. These are great. Please create more.
Would definitely like to see more timely era stuff covered.
Golden age content is always great! It has a clearheaded style and it's approach to the "weird" is always satisfying in a way that more modern horror (often relying on the abysmal "the writer wants everyone to figure out for themselves what it means" crutch) frequently does not.
I really like these stores as they give wider scope to the marvel universe besides the heroes.
Very well put
I would love to see more Vintage Marvel content. It stories told before the Silver Age began are so fascinating, and it's a great way to catalogue it for newer generations.
I'm loving these pre-super hero era stories rom Marvel
The fact that some of the old big monsters from the Atlas days have come back to the modern marvel universe makes me chillingly certain that most if not all of these other stories could fully take place within the Marvel canon as we know it.
Where monsters dwell the animated series
The last story is the funniest. Jason went from bad to worse....from janitor to vassel. Bad luck
This is really good. Please do more like this. 👍🏾
This was nice. You should do more of this segment.
I liked the first one. Be careful of what you wish for.
Love this episode! Love the old school Marvel Comics and will love to see these episodes more often!
I absolutely loved this video, and would love to see a regular video series on this. I also want to read these now.
Yes, please make more Strange Stories from the Marvel Universe videos!
This channel is amazing
That Journey into Mystery art is great.
Could you imagine if they a live action anthology series on based on this series?
….every “good person” would be Trans, women, or POC’s. Every “bad guy” would be White male & somehow the story would revolve around Politics..
Please keep making more of these!
That was great man! Some of those are really good stories.
I wish more people knew of this channel. You make great videos!
This was a really cool video! More story summaries would be awesome.
this was absolutely epic! please give us more of these!!!
Do more of these kind of videos, and add the first volume of Marvel Tales, being as those issues were pure horror in precode years
I say if you're gonna cover Marvel, do it big time including the Atlas years. You already covered Fin Fang Foom and It, The Living Colossus. What about some of the other monsters? Just a thought. Love the channel BTW
Yes do the stories again keep them coming great job
Please do this again! I love these stories
Definitely would love more of these.
Never knew these kinda stories existed. Def would like to hear more.

Yes, please do more.
Brilliant and inspiring documentary work on here
This was really good please do more of these stories and keep up the good work 👍🏾
Hell yeah, do it again
What do you think these stories would be like if they we adapted into the Big Screen or TV Shows? Which one of these stories do you think is the best?
I quite liked these!
Hope you do more
More of videos like this please!
Please do more. This was great
The last one got me.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Longtime watcher... subscribed because of this one.
Can Please do more of these an please continue your other classic videos? Oh and can u make more videos like the Kree Skrull War video from yesterday?
Great job on the video. I'm not personally into scary/horror, but these were still well done. It is interesting that these horror tales (except the last) would now fit in as just everyday tales (though actually less graphic) that could be found in any comic, even ones like Superman or Spider-Man. I'd love if you did your magic sci fi anthology tales from the same era.
show more weird and strange stories! love this concept.
I liked this. Would watch more as well.
Loved it! Thank you
I love this. Please do more
Love the 50’s EC lite stories. Marvel, DC, Charlton all had horror stories which are a lot of fun and a nice distraction from super hero stories
I'd love to see it again.
Sweet 👍
Great stories. Keep em coming!
YH Continue this for sure
You should do these types of videos more often and can you do the history of the klyntar/symbiotes
Great stories. Loved them
Great video!
Those strange tales stories were deep that was good it reminds me of the twilight zone old show
I enjoyed this a lot
These stories are very The Twilight Zone-y! 👍🏾👍🏾up!
Do more of these!
Creepy also you should do this during Halloween
Yes please do more
Can you do history of the Elementals(Hellfire, Magnum, Hydron and Zephyr), Bastion, Master Mold, Nimrod, Inferno, Victorious, Gambit, Moondragon, Phyla_Vell and Genis-Vell along with the Supreme Intelligence, Mole_Man and Angel/Archangel along with Exodus and Ex-Nhilo?
So great, it reminds me of the American version of Horrorbabble.
That was great! Have you ever done a history on Madcap?
Supermegamonkey convinced me that the early Ant Man and Doctor Strange stories happen in the hero gap.
I have a fan theory about those Ant Man stories.
Can you do Marvel's Linda Carter the Night Nurse/Student Nurse
@16:13 " a simple vassal", more like a simple asshole! Didn't think any of that through huh?
Marvles own horror anthology series
Are you going to do history of lesser known characters like Rom_the_Spaceknight, Stingray, Ultimo, Inferno, Victorious, Flerken, Blacklash, Deathlok, Elematrix, Vertigo, Titanium_Man, Crimson Dynamo, Dreadknight, Hypnotia, Blizzard, Quasar, Starbrand, Nightmask, Bastion, Master Mold, Nimrod, Starhawk, Fixer, Whirlwind, Chemistro, Whiplash, the Controller, Madam_Masque, Count_Nefaria, Ava Ayala the White Tiger, Century, Lore and Technovore?
That was cool. Do it again.
Can you present some history on The Sphinx : Anath Na Mut.
Awesome more💯🔥🔥🚀🙏🏾
Will there be a part 2??
Can you history of the characters mentioned in this video?
Can you do history of the Living_Brain, the Elementals, Cyclone, Hydro Man, Molten Man, the Spot, Sandman, Rom_the_Spaceknight, Stingray, Quasar, Starbrand, Nightmask, Ava Ayala the White Tiger, Century, Lore and Technovore?
Ava Ayala was previously covered on this channel.
@@Supremmo this channel only did the origin of White Tigers Hector Ayala and Angela Del Toro but not Ava Ayala White Tiger. Apart from the Comics, Ava Ayala White Tiger played a major role in the Ultimate Spider-Man TV Show
The hands and the mirror stories had predictable endings, but they were still good.
Can you do one on marvel’s young gods. I wanna know more about em.
Who do you think is the best character from each one of these stories?
Can you do history of Ironheart, Jane Foster Thor, Eric Masterson_AKA_Thunderstrike, Amadeus_Cho, the Griever, Pepper Potts AKA Rescue and the Agents of Atlas along with Crescent, Morgan_Le_Fey, White Fox and Luna Snow?
Now these are the kind of stories they adapt to live action on disney+.
The Story I liked the best was The Clutching Hands and yes do this again👍👍👍👏👏👏💯💯💯✔✔✔🔥🔥🔥
Pretty nifty, but those were far from the best of Marvel's so-called "horror" stories.
Definitely, make more videos!
enjoyed it. would not mind more at all
👍
the last one would've made a great Twilight Zone episode. Or maybe they could do a separate series featuring these stories apart from just superheroes? hmmm...
Please do more.
Definitely create more of this content delving into the horror content of ye olde marvel comics
How about Alpha Flight or The Defenders?
Have you ever covered any of the marvel western heroes ?
Missed opportunity to call it “Six Strange Tales” 😂
I'm a sucker for alliteration.
Creepy
If you're diving into 1950s stories, when Marvel was known as Atlas Comics, why not do a video or video series on the Agents of Atlas? You could do each of them individually and then do a video on the team, MCU-style.
Please do the living laser
was the tv show, the Twilight zone inspired by these comics? did these predate that tv show?
I know i need to use the patreon put i cant afford it.
