Ive become enamored with the smaller watches made for men 34 to 36mm size . large 40mm to huge 45mm are becomming passe. Thats why ive invested in several vintage watches as of late.and am reasonably happy with them.

Great video! I have seen a few rare vintage Rolex from around the 40s that have a signed dial using both name "Rolex Tudor" not sure how authentic those are.

I have a 1993 tudor oyster prince but that's just because it was under 500, I've never had a special connection with the brand so it's interesting to know more.
I really don't like the Black Bay and most other recent ones I've seen, plus they're so hyped that someone who want exclusivity better look elsewhere.
Yes with the newer models I have to agree with you! They are also not our thing (as with almost all companies). The Black Bay on the other hand I think are quite well made, especially in terms of the vintage related design. But as you say, the hype is huge and so they come at hefty prices.

@@GoldammerVintageWatches they got it right for the looks for the black bay but that diver shape is so hommaged that I'm starting to dislike the og sub!
I'm the kind of person that like new and innovative designs for the very limited amount of "new" watches I buy.
I love funky stuff like sapphire cases and modern finishing, still very prudent with ceramic tho.
"New" not including the end of the last century in my book, it's been 20 yrs it's okay to say it's vintage now, I think...
You might not be in my camp about the 1980's and 1990 watches but there's some very nice daily wearable pieces that came out of these decades and they're often criminally cheap today.

To me it's like buying a Bremont, what's the point of spending a substantial amount on something that looks like what you really want but isn't quite it. They're too expensive for their own good.
No worries, tastes are different and that’s absolutely ok :)
You can see the diffusion lines however you want. Just like the Speedmaster's collaboration with Swatch, some think it devalues the original Speedmaster, others think it's great. Personally, we like the vintage models and think the market prices are by and large fair for the quality of the watches. :D

To me it destroys the looks of the watches.
Ahhh ok 👍 I also do not like all moon phase watches, but there are also some models with moon phase that my heart rises. For example, the Universal Geneve tri compax, this complication is very unobtrusive and integrates nicely with the dial design.
Tudor is the poor brother of the Rolex. Only 👀 both we 👀 the differences. I am not blind yet.
Poor is "human being" too.
I prefer a Swatch than a Tudor.

You have to be Rich to call Tudor a Budget watch , even if it was meant as a comparison to Rolex . I think Tudor should have it's own identity , i don't know what they thought when they put the Rolex Logo on a Tudor watch Crown .
