I have had a blast with the new race control system, so glad to see an ease of use ranking system with a healthy player base! almost feels like I'm dreaming haha

Problems getting into practice sessions because they have been over subscribed but register for the race and practice in single player has been a work around. Think I'm almost at Silver and that BTCC content is starting to look tempting.
Glad you too joined the rF2 gang... at least for now. Hopefully you'll soon get the reward of gaining enough rating to race in the BTCC class. Look forward to watching more rF2 content in your channel! I have to give you the blame for the minor incident though. He should have made his intention clearer, but the overlap was marginal and it's a rookie server, so the chances of success were not in your favour 😉
Try the open wheel. Its normally the category I am the worst at but so far in RF2 its the one I perform the best and they are very fun to drive and push to the limit.

That said, would be really nice to see what's really causing it. There is also a post on the forum with plugins and 3rd party apps that people shouldn't use. Anyway, it's worth a look.
@@royalefurygaming2296 Maybe try to disable one of the two and single out potential causes. I know, sometimes it hurts to disable 3rd party stuff but smooth gameplay is top prioirty, atleast for me.

IMHO your first overtake attempt in the 3rd last turn was your fault. Was the corner of the car in lead. Just put the nose beside his rear end is not enough for demanding space. (Only because you asked in the vid. I made much much worse thinks frequently in the past and present 😆)
One thing that has helped people before if you have really high frame rate is to cap the frame rate. I have friend that just got a 4090 and he was getting wild swings from 400fps down to the 200 range (on ultra settings!) during a race. I had him set "Max Framerate: 200" to cap it at 200 fps in the player.json and it solved the screen hitches he was having.
Sadly no. Rf2s problem is not its multiplayer. Its the fact new players dont even get to the multiplayer. Considering how long this has been out and how little has been done with QoL, why would i even bother. Others do it good enough and WORKS. Too much grace has been given to the devs. Roll on the next raceing sim, maybe they will get things right
Well, looking at the big increase in online activity it's certainly not harder to get into an online race in rF2 than in any other sim and I played them all from AC to iRacing. If you are having issues maybe consider asking for help. This is a beta and it's still early days for the system. And why does it matter for how long it's in development? If it works and if it is fun, why not have some fun? S397 have been very active and sensible when it comes to listening to feedback the last two years so I have zero idea from were you take the idea to treat them differently. This online system was one of the most requested features afterall.
The only problem I have so far is the practice servers fill up before I can join, its very much worth it. I would say that new players not only know how to get it working but enjoy how rFactor2 drives online. Simulators are extremely complex games and very expensive to develop. I don't know a single Simulator that has came out of the box with everything working perfectly, most of the time its bare bones with no curated online system. It takes a good 10 years for most simulators to mature. look at iRacing, its the top simulator in popularity but when it comes to tires and physics its one of the worst on the market. Should it take this long? In a way, yes if you want everything to a high standard. We are a few years away for the next wave of simulators so maybe then we will see improvements but what I have seen from Rennsport I'm not that hopeful we will get anything better than what we have right now.

I have never had this happen with with rf2 but I don't use 3rd party overlays, they can play havoc to your system sometimes.

I know what you mean. I bit of name consistency wouldn't go a miss. rf2 should lock that down/enforce a standard naming convention.

Dude I’m getting them freezes in game is it crew chief or sim hub ?? Got beast of pc banging internet but screen freezes all the time
