  • Nita Strauss Guitar Lesson - A lesson in improvisation in the key of 'A' major. The breakdown of the lick allows different approaches and voicing of playing the first 8 notes of the 'A' major scale; one is two notes per string and one is three. Nita showcases an interpretation of the scale from a traditional perspective to a more "shred" approach.

    This is a beginner lesson - she says that herself. However, some of the things she says (which might be the kind of thing a lot of people would hear and agree with but not consider deeply - perhaps pass off as spiel guitarists say to sound with it) are pretty important. The more you learn the more this becomes apparent. An example is the comment about hearing notes in context. This is key when it comes to pushing the boundaries of the harmonies you're using to improvise with and you're wanting to create different tensions using different intervals.

    Nitas skin tone is very pretty. Shes such a professional, always nice, even when tired. Just a great person that id vote into music hall fame". Shes only within 2 guitarests ive ever seen live that has same thorough results within stage mobility/all over the stage, as well as stationary. Nita, also KK-downing. both very active/mobile without losing there precision thoroughness. Alot of work /practice time to achive this very rare trait. Nita i can tell is a worker, also devoted to her music.

    Alice Cooper has good taste and music knowledge.
    A Major F# C# G#.
    Basic Triad A C# E.Relative minor scale = F#minor(F# A C#). Frequently a musical piece will change into relative chords, and chords of other degrees of the scale, including Dominant 5th = E major = E G# B, or 3rd is mediant= C# major =C# F G#.4th degree chords (subdominant)= D F# A and others chords of interest.and one day soon I'll work out the guitar board.

    If you actually follow the lesson she's given you, it'll improve your playing lots because it requires you to make those long stretches and navigate the fretboard different.
    At least, I did.
    What she left out is ...your thumb position. When you play the blues type licks, it's thumb above the center of the neck. When playing classical types licks, it's thumb to the around of the center of the neck....

    To every one hating on this girl. First of all you're being sexist. Second, her guitar sounds like it has good tone. You can put whatever effect you want on a guitar but it won't hide setup problems. I set my guitars intonation way out of wack and even with a completely overloaded Line6 amp it still sounded like the intonation was off(I tried it clean too, just incase you thought the amp was the problem). Plus, even if the guitar sounds like crap, that has absolutely nothing to do with how well some one can teach guitar.

    nita! first 7 notes you mean! not 8! last is root unless you mean the octave is a descriptive pitch considering it as a new note in written music notation and not tone. Not trying to be a troll...I love her btw. Not ever trying to put her down. She plays a hell of a lot better than me.

    Nita is an incredibly talented guitarist. I hope more people realize that. She's also extremely hot! She makes me drool! She's absolutely gorgeous! But I also think her guitar skills are great. I'm sure there's a lot of guys who play guitar that won't acknowledge her as being as great as she is and that's because they can't stand the fact that a girl guitarist kicks their ass! Well all I can say to that is "DEAL WITH IT! ". She wouldn't be where she is now if she wasn't great. Rock on Nita!

    No teacher should ever teach using distortion or any effect. This only shows that she hiding behind her tone to show her lack of intonation. This is just a shame that she thinks she has the qualification to teach when she is only doing the viewer a dis service.

    • @krisross8818
      @krisross8818 9 лет назад +4

      I think she can handle playing an A major scale. Paul Gilbert shows demonstrations with distortion as well, is he also hiding behind his tone? I think you resent attractive woman because you could never get laid even with your amazing guitar prowess. This is obviously a lesson for beginners. She's not demonstrating advanced techniques or concepts so how is she doing any kind of disservice? The information she is giving would be helpful to a beginner who is trying to learn to solo in key. Like I said the most common reason people bash beautiful woman is because they could never get one to agree to fuck them.
