Just because a structure is considered "removable" doesn’t mean you’re allowed to place it on a rural lot without proper permissions. If you plan to live there, you’ll also need appropriate licensing, and the land title may need to be updated. Of course, you could set it up without following these steps, but be aware that doing so is illegal...
The cheapest way to own your own home is to have a trailer that you tow around. No land no permits no rules. But a "home" is not a 'house'. There are some places in TX and TN were you can build a house without needing permits. I don't think permits themselves are a problem, but for example, I own property in Calif and the cost of the permits are $30k. There is another place not far away that you can buy a lot for $10k, but you need a $50k septic system (plus the permit costs). If you can find land that doesn't have these very high permit costs, you can build a real house fairly cheap, but of course like your first example, the land is cheap for a reason.
Peter Schiff said Americans don't save enough money 💲💲 to buy a house 🏡, yesterday with Sachs Realty 😂. Like him or not he is spot on..... From the Ozarks
I feel that you had good intentions, but this is such a bad video. The information you presented is completely false: you need a permit for those kind of houses in Portugal and the house you've built would never get one. Check law 10/2024. You basically have built an ilegal (and dangerous) house in a foreign country. People, times are hard but please don't do this. Put your safety first and respect local laws.
Great job mestre!
