I really wanna know how the Chinese stans feel about this. We started off with top 9 being almost all Chinese trainees, now we only have one in the final line up
Most of us are pissed as fuck. The really sad part is that Su Ruiqi has been through this 4 times and it’s ended the same way EVERY SINGLE TIME with her being 4 spots from debut. She’s so talented but the timing just hasn’t been right, and it sucks. We worked so hard to get her to debut, just to have it end like this.

Yeah not the best. Fu Yaning was and still is my top favorite, if they group was a 12 member group she would’ve debuted at 12. I’ll be looking forward to people like her, Cai Bing, Wen Zhe and Ruiqi
Technically, we should be happy that we have more than 1 J and a ratio of 1:3. In pd48 we ended up having a ratio of 1:4 which was soooo bad. Thats probably thanks to the international voting system that pd48 didnt have. We all would've liked 2 C group and not just Xiaoting but lets be realistic, knetizens dont really like chinese (in general). All of them were the bottom 5 at the interim rankings so im happy Xiaoting rised from the dead.
I hope Yurina’s parents change their minds on supporting her dreams now that they see how popular she is/was? I mean she was literally top1 at some point. Also Mnet is so dumb for giving us ONE vote only. I had to vote Youngeun (she’s my number 2 pick, Yujin was my 1) once it changed to single votes simply because I know Yujin is more popular. Had they let us just each vote for like 5 girls REGARDLESS of k/c/j, we’d see a different group. I would’ve probably voted Youngeun, Yujin, and Xiaoting daily, and then switched up my other two votes between a few different ppl like Hikaru, Yeseo, Ruiqi, Yurina, and Mashiro every other day or something. What a shame.

@@k-potato3593 I'm "dumber" for making sure my pick Youngeun got into the group? She'd only made top9 once the entire show, so she wasn't safe. Once I saw the interim votes, I switched to my number 3 pick (Xiaoting) while hoping other Youngeun voters wouldn't switch too much. The only one of my top picks who didn't make the group was Ruiqi. Either way, I still think it's dumb of mnet to not give people more votes. Edit: Suyeon, Myah, and Bora were also Korean contestants who didn't make it. So I hope people voted for who they wanted in regardless.
@@blahblahsuperanon youngeun was within top5 for both kvotes and global votes. Bahiyyih didnt even make it into top9 once and she got 2nd overall. Also all of the C-trainees were the lowest from rank 14-18 for kvotes which is why yaning and ruiqi who were top5 for global votes cldnt get in. For suyeon and myah, they were ranked 7 and 9 for kvotes but were ranked very low for global votes. However, they still ended up ranking near the final spot 9. 1kvotes=10 global votes so ktrainees definitely have the advantage while J and esp C trainees are heavily disadvantaged.
I get it that some people are upset but the amount of death threats and mean comments are HORRIBLE like are y’all forgetting that most of them are literally kids it’s soo heartbreaking to see..congrats to the girls and I hope the best for the girls who didn’t make it.
I am worried for Bahiyyih's mental health. I mean the amount of hate she's getting- my mental health would have surely be disturbed if I was in her place.
It was so obvious of Mnet that they panicked after the interim ranking because they knew that people would sh*t on them a lot so they did their best to get at least Hikaru and Xiaoting in there by announcing them tying for 9th place to get people panic voting for these two and then full on highlighting Xiaoting and praising her the whole episode. I’m kinda glad they did though because a line up without them wouldn’t have made any sense.
tbh I kinda knew who were the trainees that would debut while watching the episode, because the screentime the gave to most of the top 9 girls was pretty obvious, especially chaehyun

She was getting first rank all the time and then when she needed it the most people didn't vote for her cause they thought she was safe and voted for others that they thought wouldn't make it. This is not Mnet's fault. Bahiyyih also has her own fanbase.

IKR, I think what makes it sad isn't about she's not being the number 1 of the final line, at least she made it, but that's she's the only C-group girl - we all know better that most of C-group girls are soooooooo damn good and strong,
it seems that the c-group trainees long knew that they were being discriminated against. It's especially apparent when both Cai Bing and FYN didn't want to be leader, and there's a moment when FYN looked at CB to see if she should raise her hand to be leader and CB just shook her head to say don't do it bc they'll just get evil edited against again. Can't even imagine spending 5 months on an idol program when you have to watch your every move walking on eggshells to make sure mnet dosn't grasp a chance to evil edit you.
Yurina, Yaning and Shana deserve better hope they can have a chance to debut, I also see alot that people on twitter want HYBE to notice Yurina for their new girl group, I mean is unreal but I can dream

The lineup is quite odd not in a bad way, is just I don't know, but the girls are talented and they'll forge their way to success! I was rooting for Yurina and Bora the most so I was really sad they didn't make it, hope the future is bright for all the contestants 😭💙
I loved your observation that the "foreign girls 100% carried the show". I agree, ask most viewers to snap give you a name from GP 999, and 99% will give you a J or C group member. The K group members are talented, but cookie cutter. Mnet is Mnet, so yeah, BS expected and delivered, Bahiyyah is in for a rough ride. 95% of us are unhappy today, but it was always going to be like that.
I think it’s because j and c trainees are trained to be entertainers, funny and act like your friends. They enjoy the stages. Not that k trainees don’t, but the kpop industry is really demanding and I feel like they have a more competitive attitude? The k trainees in the lineup are lovable tho
Sad Fact: Ruiqi and Yaning would've make it in 7th and 6th respectively if the 50% korean weight didn't exist. Ruiqi and Yaning got more than 400k votes but ranked 12th & 13th while Chaehyun got 200k votes and she ranked 1st.
Ruiqi and yaning deserved to be there 100%. However, maybe this is good in the end because they fit a more badass theme (like blackpink) rather than Kep1er and maybe they can debut after this exposure…? Still sad tho
I think bahiyyih ranking suddenly 2nd proves that the show is not rigged even though she is not my pick she has one of the strongest fandom and one pick system is in her favor it was inevitable that she is in the top 9, i agree there are more talented girls but this is 100 %voting system so it’s technically fair. That was the difference. The Koreans dropped voting for any C girls first chance they got and because they prioritized Korean votes that skewed the lineup in favor of the K group and hindered the C group
It’s not that no one votes for them. Ruiqi and Yaning were actually first and second in the global vote count in the interim ranking, it’s just that the Knetz aren’t voting for them.
I'm not sure if you know this or not but Kepler is actually the last name of German astronomer Johannes Kepler and NASA has a space telescope named Kepler so it fits the theme of planets that the show was named for (that's why I actually really liked the name because I immediately understood the reference)

The only positive thing I'm taking from this finale is the sheer PRIDE in Jia and Hyerim's faces seeing Youngeun and Chaehyun make it into the lineup. I almost started crying when they showed them on screen

While she did get votes from moas and Bighit stans you are ignoring the fact that the voting system became a one pick for the final. She has a huge fan base on her own and so when people were forced to choose between her and another pick, they chose her. A lot of the other trainees were just filler votes so that they can move onto the next round. Honestly her ranking is really not that surprising because one she’s received a massive amount of hate but also a massive amount of support and if you look at a lot of her fan cams she’s consistently ranked within the top three most viewed fan cam so it’s really not that difficult plus Mnet really didn’t give her a lot of screen time and they treated her awful.

in all honesty, i dont think chaehyun will be the group's center simply because gp999 never said 1st would be the final center. it was heavily emphasized throughout produce that 1 = center but if you notice in gp999, 1st place is just... 1st in votes. i think newer survival shows are no longer following the 1st = center tradition starting with i-land (jungwon won 1st and he became leader) which is what i believe is a result of mnet not being able to rig and swap the places around this time.
Kep1er doesn’t even have 9 , so they could have planet passed someone 😤 at least 1 line up is not that bad but i just want Yurina and Bora/Shana to make it plus another chinese

I’m sitting on top of the fence for the final debut lineup.. don’t know how to feel about it, really disappointed and upset that Yurina didn’t make it through despite her constant placements in Top 9. I’m proud of Dayeon and Hikaru through for making it through, continue fighting Yurina! I’ll still support you from Singapore.
I just want to say this, if you want to drag Bahiyyih down for her family you are the reason her fan base is so dedicated. A lot of people didn’t know her from TXT, they knew her from the amount of hate she was getting and looked into her further to see what the drama was about. And ended up stanning her because they saw she did nothing to deserve the sheer force of hate coming her way. Her fans are only so dedicated because everybody wanted to bash her and throw her under the bus because she couldn’t control who her brother was. Talent? Watch all of her fancams. And if you notice their votes, chaehyun has monster fandom in korea, while bahiyyij has a monster fandom globally, so it's a win-win for the group. Bahiyyih will improve her skills, as this is what happened to sohye in i.o.i and hyewon and minju in izone. Again, hating on someone is karma. I don't like fyn but i never openly say that i don't like her, just quietly voted my pick and watch the show. At the end of the day, i was shookt with fyn's visuals lol 😂

I thinks she’s starting off at an even higher technique level vocals and dance wise than Minju, and look how amazing Minju was by the end of the group. And exactly! It’s fine not to like certain candidates and to wish another person was there instead but that’s something you complain about to your friends or to yourself. My thoughts: 1- Chaehyun (My first pick, but I thought that Yujin or Dayeon would be the First and she the Second, well deserved, great vocalist, and really an angel that cares about her team) 2- Bahiyyi (Surprised me SO MUCH, I though she would be the 9 member, but I'm glad for her, I was hoping Yurina or Surui to enter in her place, but she is good too and VERYYYY POPULAR, will help a lot in the promotion of the group, and probably will improve a lot, deserve) 3- Yujin (Thought that she would be the first, but OKAY, well deserved) 4- Dayeon (Not a big fan, but one of the best dancer and leader in the show, well deserved too) 5- Seo Yeoungeun (ACE, Vocals, Rap, Dance, HappyVirus, I was afraid that she wouldn't make it, well deserved) 6- Yeseo (Other that I was afraid that wouldn't make it, I'm glad that she enter in the final line, not a big fan of her voice, but pretty good dancer and center material) 7- Hikaru (Cute and probably the best rapper that could debut, she is a pretty good dancer too) 8- Mashiro (I love her, and well deserve, won the 3 rounds and was the leader in the 3 rounds, she really deserve to win) 9- Xiaoting (I knew that she would debut, but NINE???, like if she was the 2, 3 or 4 okay, BUT NINE???, Deserve more, Queen, Center material) Bora (I expected that she wouldn't make it but she was the best main vocalist in the finals) Surui (I expected that she wouldn't make it since evil edit, but she was pretty good, not my pick but she show us TALENT) YURINA (WHYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!! To those who are "in shock" with the ranking, I say that I expected it. I think many of you have missed two extremely important points. First: from the beginning of the program, the voting result was 50% Korean votes and 50% international votes, that is, the Koreans already had a certain advantage in relation to the final rankings. Second: the show is Korean, the TV station is Korean, the show is set in South Korea and the final group will be a K-pop group that will mostly promote in South Korea. k-pop group Koreans will want Koreans, I'm not saying that South Koreans are xenophobic, even if you look at the graphs from previous eliminations you will see that many Koreans voted and supported many foreigners. But then we come to the third point... The elimination we had this Friday, it wasn't any kind of elimination, it was the final of the reality show, whoever won would debut, and whoever lost would lose, game over... Despite all the love that everyone had for all the participants, in the end you were entitled to only one vote per day. You need to understand that the last vote also affects who is voting (the planet guardians), especially if there is someone from your country. Adding to the fact that the South Koreans are one of the most nationalist countries out there, of course last week they preferred to vote for the Koreans. Remember what I said up there? That 50% of the votes are from South Korea alone... 1+1= "Let's vote for our South Korean girls last week!". I'm not to disappointed with the final line up, 7 of my 11 picks made It. I wanted Yaning, Ruiqi, Bora and Yurina to make it, but not to disappointed. This will be the first girl group that I stan, and probably the only one. The final line up is not as bad as everyone says it is. I hope their debut to be succesfull 💞
i actually really like the name kep1er! it sounds rlly cool! a nice meaning as well. also suyeon, yaning, ruiqi and shana got ROBBED. yaning was my top pick and i really was hoping for her and for 2 j and 2 c ... but 5 of my picks are in the group so i will stan. I just hope i can see my other picks: yaning, ruiqi, suyeon and shana debuting somehow. also i cried when i saw hikaru making it. i was really scared for her. she is gonna become my bias 100%!
In hindsight I have so many questions about this show. Like why didn’t they focus on debuting three set groups with J C K idols. For example, people would have to vote for one J member, one C member and one K member and then the top three of each group will make it into the final line up. Otherwise what’s the point? Also what is the concept of the final group lol I get it’s supposed to be internationally focused but that could mean literally anything. Some people have certain vibes that fit well into certain company’s concepts. That’s why we see companies reject really talented trainees that later become huge idols. It’s not that they’re not talented it’s just they would thrive better in a different setting. We saw multiple times that some girls did amazing with cute concept (ie the ice cream group) and others did amazing with more mature vibes (ie the Medusa group). Anyway it’ll be interesting to see their first come back 🤷♀️
It would've been a good idea to keep the 1 KCJ ratio they did in the previous round. The group of trainees in that group was pretty good but all in all the line up of trainees isn't that bad, it would've been nice to have at least 1 more C trainee.
If you watch survival shows, there is always one member that people hate on. That's just how people are. I expected Bahiyyih to get hate, but this... Is not okay. She has so much potential!
How am I? Heartbroken for Su Rui Qi, she has done so good since the beginning and this was her last chance of debuting cause it was her third survival show and she always ends up in the final lineup but doesn't make it, now she's going to focus on her studies. What I don’t get that people wanted a fair voting system, people voted their faves and some didn’t make it. People need to accept that. And suddenly everyone hating on the top9 trainees. Instead of hating, you could’ve voted for your trainee. Everyone has different opinions and people need to learn to respect it. You can be sad but please don’t spread hate. i think alot would have changed if there was a "pick two girls from diffrent countries" system, the final ranking would probably still have been k-group heavy... but i belive the final group would have more ... well-rounded and diverse(?). because people would have picked their one-pick, but also a member they saw with less bias, probably. i'm like 99% sure yurina would have debuted, and xiaoting would have been higher (as they should)
Quite funny that it is unfair for Bahi, but nor for all the girls that already had fanbase from just their company, groups they are from, all the survival shows and all the screentime Mnet gave to certain trainees? Because we had a group go to the house of a contestant, because fair.... right? Select contestants had all the screentime, and all other ones had ZERO screentime and still somehow made it. You can't say it was unfair, when this whole show was never fair.

Disliking the line-up and feeling like other contestants also deserved the spot is so very valid because I feel that way too, but straight up HATING, and BULLYING some of these contestants saying they "don't deserve it" or "they are mediocre," is disgusting. People in the kpop community (or in any community in general) should already be aware of the effects of mercilessly hating on idols. What happened isn't even the girls' fault, they each gave it their best and had no control over their votes. Again, you don't have to like them, but at least respect them. At the end of the day, they are people, and even some of them are MINORS, so don't ruin this for them and think before posting something online

Because they gave kvotes more value and because they made the final voting week 1-picks. Everyone wanted 3-3-3 or 9-pick for the final week with EQUAL vote value.

IM SO HAPPY WITH THE LINE UP!!!, it's actually the exact top 9 that I wanted, except for bahiyyih. I never had a full top 9, only 8, which were Youngeun, Dayeon, Xiaoting, Mashiro, Hikaru, Yeseo, Yujin, and Chaehyun. I never had a 9th contestant but I'm good with bahiyyih filling in the spot, I'm sure she's very happy and will work hard!

I literally directly thought of Hyewon when Bahi got in. Hyewon personality wise became one of my favorite people to watch in Izone lives so I’m excited for Bahi to get her quirky personality to show through like her first intro video.
I find the line-up well-balanced, (although kinda upset only 1 chinese made it, such a waste of time for both c & j-trainees) im biased towards hiyyih, but this girl DOES NOT DESERVE THE HATE, the amount of hate she's getting is something NO ONE should experience. It's always the same point being brought up saying "it's all because of you know who..." but it wouldn't have been possible if her fans (hiyyihlights) didn't vote for her. If people are getting upset that she's ranked 2nd, then why didn't you vote for your fav? If you really took this srsly and worked hard to vote for your fav, then you shouldn't be getting mad at hiyyih. hiyyihlights worked hard for this, collaborating with other fanbases and hosting giveaways, so people would vote for bahiyyih. the interim rankings sure made us happy, but did that stop us from voting her? No. why you may ask? because she still wasn't safe! why do you think mnet would release interim rankings? because they wanted to let you all know who's leading and who's in top9, as well as to create panic voting. Hiyyilights didn't back down after this was released, we just kept voting even harder, since we wanted to secure her spot in top9. and i agree that not the most talented trainnes debut, at the end of the day its to see their growth. its not always the most talented debuting, cause its...kinda boring?? so seeing bahiyyih debut, i'm happy to see what she will showcase!! @@wavzone Voting more isn't exactly "brainless." Survival shows are all about popularity. Having a strong and dedicated fanbase plays a big role. Even if Bahiyyih barely got any screentime, she was still really popular. I understand where you're coming from however the "didn't have to worry" is not an excuse, since Bahiyyih wasn't as well-received in Korea, even if she's from k-group. It was mainly from the 115 countries that voted for her rather as 1st, rather than the Korean votes. Although Korean votes were weighed heavier, she was ranked 7th in Korea. What made her rise was really the international votes. If there weren't as many international voters, then she wouldn't have made it. c and j girls could have made it if the one-pick system was in their favor. At the end of the day it really just depends on the fanbase of the person.
I honestly relate to this LMAO I was a lullet since debut and the moment bora didn't get into lineup, I just felt horribly upset but I feel happy towards the ones that did get into lineup! It just upsets me how Cherry Bullet members really didn't get into lineup. I also tolerated GP999 for Bora and I was glad she was able to showcase herself and Cherry Bullet to a larger audience and I really hope they get a comeback soon. A lot of girls that I like are in the lineup but I still hate how it turned out that only the last three ranks aren't K Trainees. Mnet really did the C Trainees and the J Trainee dirty with their editing. I honestly really thought Ruiqi and Yurina were going to make it :( My Top 4 picks were Wen Zhe, Kim Hyerim, Xu Ziyin and Kim Bora and I had soft spots for Shana, Yujin and Xiaoting so yeah I'll just wish them the best for their future!

a lot of people didn't know how famous BAHIYYIH is.. at first it didn't show because you can vote and support lots of girls but when it become lesser and lesser the amount of girls you can vote, that's the time you gonna find out who's really their favorite especially when it downs to one girl voting only. every live stream all I can see is the name of BAHIYYIH. she have lots of supporters. so it means that lots of people who watch the show likes her. why it sounded like she doesn't have the right to debut for some people? some people didn't know how much BAHIYYIH will help the group especially if they went international tour. they don't know how important it is. she have voice...she's beautiful and she can dance too. in short she's also talented. lots of fans are blinded by they're favorites talent. they forgot to look around and give other girls a chance to show them their talents. and that's why "HATERS" formed and hate the girl who ranked at the top because their favorites didn't make it is wrong. I like this group. Bahiyyih kicked everybody in the face!! Good for her and yes she will grow a lot in the debuted group. But all of them will. I'm really happy about Yeseo and Youngeun. I punched the air when they where announced, and I don't punch a lot of air. I'm sad for Bora. But we will see her again. I predicted that Yurina and SRQ wouldn't make the group in episode 5. People laughed at me then.... Yurina just didn't have it and SRQ played it to save. Both of them never stood out (only in there first performance) But I can only wish the best for them. I'm just happy the group name isn't something like 'planet girls' lol this one is at least creative I'm satisfied with the lineup but Bahiyyh... I mean, she is definitely going to improve, they all are, but it seems kinda unfair to me that she won over Bora and Yurina. We haven't seen her in any concept other than the cute one and we have never actually heard her sing (those several lines she got in every performance don't count cuz they don't really show her vocal skills). But she still doesn't deserve so much hate, she is so young and actually didn't do anything wrong Anyway, I hope those who didn't make it will still have a successful career. Technically, we should be happy that we have more than 1 J and a ratio of 1:3. In pd48 we ended up having a ratio of 1:4 which was soooo bad. Thats probably thanks to the international voting system that pd48 didnt have. We all would've liked 2 C group and not just Xiaoting but lets be realistic, knetizens dont really like chinese (in general). All of them were the bottom 5 at the interim rankings so im happy Xiaoting rised from the dead.

I would’ve probably voted Youngeun, Yujin, and Xiaoting daily, and then switched up my other two votes between a few different ppl like Hikaru, Yeseo, Ruiqi, Yurina, and Mashiro every other day or something. @@blahblahsuperanon youngeun was within top5 for both kvotes and global votes. Bahiyyih didnt even make it into top9 once and she got 2nd overall. Also all of the C-trainees were the lowest from rank 14-18 for kvotes which is why yaning and ruiqi who were top5 for global votes cldnt get in.
For suyeon and myah, they were ranked 7 and 9 for kvotes but were ranked very low for global votes. However, they still ended up ranking near the final spot 9.
1kvotes=10 global votes so ktrainees definitely have the advantage while J and esp C trainees are heavily disadvantaged.

It was so obvious of Mnet that they panicked after the interim ranking because they knew that people would sh*t on them a lot so they did their best to get at least Hikaru and Xiaoting in there by announcing them tying for 9th place to get people panic voting for these two and then full on highlighting Xiaoting and praising her the whole episode. I’m kinda glad they did though because a line up without them wouldn’t have made any sense.

It's especially apparent when both Cai Bing and FYN didn't want to be leader, and there's a moment when FYN looked at CB to see if she should raise her hand to be leader and CB just shook her head to say don't do it bc they'll just get evil edited against again. Can't even imagine spending 5 months on an idol program when you have to watch your every move walking on eggshells to make sure mnet dosn't grasp a chance to evil edit you.

While she did get votes from moas and Bighit stans you are ignoring the fact that the voting system became a one pick for the final. She has a huge fan base on her own and so when people were forced to choose between her and another pick, they chose her. A lot of the other trainees were just filler votes so that they can move onto the next round. Honestly her ranking is really not that surprising because one she’s received a massive amount of hate but also a massive amount of support and if you look at a lot of her fan cams she’s consistently ranked within the top three most viewed fan cam so it’s really not that difficult plus Mnet really didn’t give her a lot of screen time and they treated her awful.

in all honesty, i dont think chaehyun will be the group's center simply because gp999 never said 1st would be the final center. it was heavily emphasized throughout produce that 1 = center but if you notice in gp999, 1st place is just... 1st in votes. i think newer survival shows are no longer following the 1st = center tradition starting with i-land (jungwon won 1st and he became leader) which is what i believe is a result of mnet not being able to rig and swap the places around this time.

I just want to say this, if you want to drag Bahiyyih down for her family you are the reason her fan base is so dedicated. 1- Chaehyun (My first pick, but I thought that Yujin or Dayeon would be the First and she the Second, well deserved, great vocalist, and really an angel that cares about her team)
2- Bahiyyi (Surprised me SO MUCH, I though she would be the 9 member, but I'm glad for her, I was hoping Yurina or Surui to enter in her place, but she is good too and VERYYYY POPULAR, will help a lot in the promotion of the group, and probably will improve a lot, deserve)
3- Yujin (Thought that she would be the first, but OKAY, well deserved)
4- Dayeon (Not a big fan, but one of the best dancer and leader in the show, well deserved too)
5- Seo Yeoungeun (ACE, Vocals, Rap, Dance, HappyVirus, I was afraid that she wouldn't make it, well deserved)

Bora (I expected that she wouldn't make it but she was the best main vocalist in the finals)

To those who are "in shock" with the ranking, I say that I expected it. I think many of you have missed two extremely important points.
First: from the beginning of the program, the voting result was 50% Korean votes and 50% international votes, that is, the Koreans already had a certain advantage in relation to the final rankings.
Second: the show is Korean, the TV station is Korean, the show is set in South Korea and the final group will be a K-pop group that will mostly promote in South Korea. k-pop group Koreans will want Koreans, I'm not saying that South Koreans are xenophobic, even if you look at the graphs from previous eliminations you will see that many Koreans voted and supported many foreigners. But then we come to the third point...

You need to understand that the last vote also affects who is voting (the planet guardians), especially if there is someone from your country. Adding to the fact that the South Koreans are one of the most nationalist countries out there, of course last week they preferred to vote for the Koreans.
Remember what I said up there? That 50% of the votes are from South Korea alone... 1+1= "Let's vote for our South Korean girls last week!". But it wasn't just the South Koreans who liked the South Koreans, a lot of "non-Korean" people also liked and supported them (I'm a case and maybe so are you...).
And as it happens in many reality shows, many people have the erroneous thought: "My favorite is in a high position in the rankings, I will vote for others, since she is guaranteed". It was the case of Shen Xiao Ting, she was in first, many left her aside to vote for others and she was dropping in ranking, so much so that she was ranked 9th.
What resulted with this ranking final: 6 Korean, 2 Japanese and 1 Chinese.
P.S.: I'm sorry if your favorite didn't make debut, but will sticking hate on others change something? Will putting hate on 'x' participant will make that 'x' participant leave the final group so that yours will be in her place? Grow and learn to mature and know how to control your emotions! Thanks!

gp999 was supposed to be a global group promoting in South Korea. Just cuz they're going to be kpop idols it does not mean that they need to be Korean!?! The point of this show was to open their markets even more to China and Japan and the rest of the world.

I'm not to disappointed with the final line up, 7 of my 11 picks made It. I wanted Yaning, Ruiqi, Bora and Yurina to make it, but not to disappointed. This will be the first girl group that I stan, and probably the only one. The final line up is not as bad as everyone says it is. I hope their debut to be succesfull 💞

In hindsight I have so many questions about this show. Like why didn’t they focus on debuting three set groups with J C K idols. For example, people would have to vote for one J member, one C member and one K member and then the top three of each group will make it into the final line up. Otherwise what’s the point?
Also what is the concept of the final group lol I get it’s supposed to be internationally focused but that could mean literally anything. Some people have certain vibes that fit well into certain company’s concepts. That’s why we see companies reject really talented trainees that later become huge idols. It’s not that they’re not talented it’s just they would thrive better in a different setting. We saw multiple times that some girls did amazing with cute concept (ie the ice cream group) and others did amazing with more mature vibes (ie the Medusa group). Anyway it’ll be interesting to see their first come back 🤷♀️
It would've been a good idea to keep the 1 KCJ ratio they did in the previous round. The group of trainees in that group was pretty good but all in all the line up of trainees isn't that bad, it would've been nice to have at least 1 more C trainee.
Xiao Ting is definitely center material, but I guess if rank 1 doesn't mean center then it's fine

Heartbroken for Su Rui Qi, she has done so good since the beginning and this was her last chance of debuting cause it was her third survival show and she always ends up in the final lineup but doesn't make it, now she's going to focus on her studies. What I don’t get that people wanted a fair voting system, people voted their faves and some didn’t make it. People need to accept that. And suddenly everyone hating on the top9 trainees. Instead of hating, you could’ve voted for your trainee. Everyone has different opinions and people need to learn to respect it. You can be sad but please don’t spread hate.

i think alot would have changed if there was a "pick two girls from diffrent countries" system, the final ranking would probably still have been k-group heavy... but i belive the final group would have more ... well-rounded and diverse(?). because people would have picked their one-pick, but also a member they saw with less bias, probably. i'm like 99% sure yurina would have debuted, and xiaoting would have been higher (as they should)

Disliking the line-up and feeling like other contestants also deserved the spot is so very valid because I feel that way too, but straight up HATING, and BULLYING some of these contestants saying they "don't deserve it" or "they are mediocre," is disgusting. People in the kpop community (or in any community in general) should already be aware of the effects of mercilessly hating on idols. What happened isn't even the girls' fault, they each gave it their best and had no control over their votes. Again, you don't have to like them, but at least respect them. At the end of the day, they are people, and even some of them are MINORS, so don't ruin this for them and think before posting something online

IM SO HAPPY WITH THE LINE UP!!!, it's actually the exact top 9 that I wanted, except for bahiyyih. I never had a full top 9, only 8, which were Youngeun, Dayeon, Xiaoting, Mashiro, Hikaru, Yeseo, Yujin, and Chaehyun. I never had a 9th contestant but I'm good with bahiyyih filling in the spot, I'm sure she's very happy and will work hard!

I literally directly thought of Hyewon when Bahi got in. Hyewon personality wise became one of my favorite people to watch in Izone lives so I’m excited for Bahi to get her quirky personality to show through like her first intro video.

@@wavzone Voting more isn't exactly "brainless." Survival shows are all about popularity. Having a strong and dedicated fanbase plays a big role. Even if Bahiyyih barely got any screentime, she was still really popular. I understand where you're coming from however the "didn't have to worry" is not an excuse, since Bahiyyih wasn't as well-received in Korea, even if she's from k-group. It was mainly from the 115 countries that voted for her rather as 1st, rather than the Korean votes. Although Korean votes were weighed heavier, she was ranked 7th in Korea. What made her rise was really the international votes. If there weren't as many international voters, then she wouldn't have made it. c and j girls could have made it if the one-pick system was in their favor. At the end of the day it really just depends on the fanbase of the person.
I honestly relate to this LMAO I was a lullet since debut and the moment bora didn't get into lineup, I just felt horribly upset but I feel happy towards the ones that did get into lineup! It just upsets me how Cherry Bullet members really didn't get into lineup. I also tolerated GP999 for Bora and I was glad she was able to showcase herself and Cherry Bullet to a larger audience and I really hope they get a comeback soon. Bora and Shana were the main vocalists we wished Kep1er had. TT

I like this group. Bahiyyih kicked everybody in the face!! Good for her and yes she will grow a lot in the debuted group. But all of them will. I'm really happy about Yeseo and Youngeun. I punched the air when they where announced, and I don't punch a lot of air. I'm sad for Bora. But we will see her again.
I predicted that Yurina and SRQ wouldn't make the group in episode 5. People laughed at me then.... Yurina just didn't have it and SRQ played it to save. Both of them never stood out (only in there first performance) But I can only wish the best for them.

I'm satisfied with the lineup but Bahiyyh... I mean, she is definitely going to improve, they all are, but it seems kinda unfair to me that she won over Bora and Yurina. We haven't seen her in any concept other than the cute one and we have never actually heard her sing (those several lines she got in every performance don't count cuz they don't really show her vocal skills). But she still doesn't deserve so much hate, she is so young and actually didn't do anything wrong
