I actually wrote the lyrics for this video in 2008 back when "literal music videos" were a thing but never got around to making the actual recording.
Better late than never, right? Literal music videos are still a thing, right?

As a long-time fan of the literal videos and Kate Bush, and having seen so many bad ones done, I figured there would be no way this would be any good. Kate's voice is too difficult to mimic. There isn't enough action in this video to describe. AND YOU NAILED IT! ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!
I've watched this like 4 times and I'm gonna watch it again.
This is so good, okay the vocals aren`t perfect, but they are really good, so funny, especially the I`m a tree part, brilliant.

They are it is just those that make them may no longer be. A number of countries have changed their copyright laws to allow them as parodies, however it is too late for some like DaScott who just got sick and tired fighting the copyright claims. Some left YT and moved to other sites.

Long time fan of literal videos and this is one of the best. As for the outro, on her album "The Whole Story", Kate does a new recording of Wuthering Heights with yells and screams during the outro. Maybe you could work some lyrics into that. But if not, that's fine, too. Your commentary actually mocks the outro in a similar way as the whole concept is supposed to mock the video.
This video deserves a million views for “Tee hee!” alone.

This is still beyond astounding!!! WOW WOW WOW WOW!!! This is the 6th time I've watched it in 2 days. Just so brilliant and oh, you just so sweetly and divinely mimic Kate down pat!! As they say "Nailed it!!" Clever with the lines and phrasing such as "I'm just totally cuckoo", "one person conga line", and "I'm so stoned" still kill me!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! All the vocal nuances and cadence and attention to detail is probably the best Kate impersonation I've heard ANYWHERE on RUclips. You are definitely up there! This was what I was singing in my head when I first saw the original video.
This is still the best parody of this song I have heard and I was around in the days of Faith Brown, so that is saying something.

Being a fan of 1950s and early 1960s with more than 3,000 records both Albums ( 33s ) and Singles ( 45s ) in my collection, this was one ( well original Kate Bushs 45 ) of no more than 10 records i had from 1970s.

Kate Bush always scared me when I was little. She always seemed to have that "I love you, that's why I have to kill you" vibe.
Funny thing is I am the opposite. I became obsessed with her at 4-5 years old when Wuthering Heights was released. The beauty of her voice, her freedom of movement without a care for what others thought all appealed to me.

There is no need for the "but". I have loved the goddess since I was 4 years old and I think she would find this hilarious. Just look at "WoW", and "Hammer Horror". She has a wicked sense of humour.
