    Wow. Its amazing how you were able to do both Yufuin and Beppu and still get back to Hakata. Did you book anything for the trains and buses to and from Hakata? Im planning to do the same thing on sept.

      @@kookiejeon2897 Hello, I took the train going to Yufuin (earliest possible to maximize the time) and then second to the last bus schedule from Beppu to Hakata Station. If you have limited time in Fukuoka, visiting both places is worth it, but if you have enough time/days, I suggest staying overnight. Hope this helps. Enjoy your trip 🇯🇵

      Edit. Nvm. I found the answer on one of your responses haha.

    I’m happy I discovered your vlog. I seldom see Fukuoka vlog from a Filipino tourist. We’re off to Fukuoka in few months and we didn’t know what to expect. thanks for a detailed vlog. 🫶 I have questions though, how do you pay for train/bus rides? Do we need to carry cash or establishments usually accept card or ewallet like Gcash?

    • @momeli
      @momeli  9 дней назад

      @@kashie0113 Hello! 😊
      I’m glad you found my vlog helpful for your upcoming trip.
      When traveling in Japan, I use an IC card for all transportation. It also works in convenience stores and some restaurants. For shopping, I use a credit card, but I always carry cash (Yen) in case certain shops or restaurants only accept cash, especially in rural areas or smaller establishments. I have not tried using GCASH/e-wallet.
      I hope this information helps, and I wish you a safe and memorable trip to Fukuoka! 🇯🇵💙

      @@nazt499 hello, as far as I recall, there is no designated luggage storage on board. Most passengers stand while holding their luggage, as seating is limited. However, the journey is relatively short, lasting about 10 to 15 minutes.

    Thank you for this video! I am planning to do the Yufuin and Beppu trip too. Would you mind sharing which train you used from Hakata, and which bus services you used from Yufuin to Beppu and Beppu to Hakata? What time did you leave Hakata? I saw the first train leaves at 5ish in the morning, but afraid if I get to Yufuin too early, nothing will be open.

    • @momeli
      @momeli  Месяц назад +3

      @@clipclopclippity Hello, I took the JR Line train directly to Yufuin Station on the 7:43 AM schedule. The journey took about 2.5 hours.
      Yufuin to Beppu, the bus station is conveniently located near Yufuin Station. You’ll pass it on your left as you walk toward Floral Village. Buses run every 10-15 minutes.
      Beppu to Hakata. I went to the Tourist Information Center in Kannawa, where the bus stops. I caught the 5:15 PM bus. Travel time was 3+ hours depending on the traffic.
      I highly recommend booking your bus ticket going back to Hakata in advance when you arrive in Beppu, as they often sell out quickly, especially during peak tourist seasons.
      Thank you, and enjoy your trip to Japan! 🇯🇵💙

      Hello! I’m glad you found my vlog helpful. Thank you for watching! ☺The Floral Village is a popular tourist spot, though it's relatively small and mainly consists of a souvenir shop with unique designs and opportunities for animal interaction. It can get crowded at times, but if you're in the area, it's worth taking a quick stroll, especially since there's no entrance fee.

    how did you like fukuoka? as compared to other japan cities

    • @momeli
      @momeli  3 месяца назад +1

      I really enjoyed my time in Fukuoka! It has a unique charm compared to other cities in Japan. Fukuoka is known for its friendly atmosphere, beautiful parks, and delicious food, especially the local ramen and fresh seafood. It feels less crowded and more relaxed than Tokyo but has plenty of modern amenities and cultural attractions. It also has nightlife but is safer than Osaka. The blend of urban life with nature, like the beaches and mountains nearby, makes it a great place to visit 😊

      The temple is located along a mountain path that slopes gently, making the climb to Nanzoin easier compared to using stairs.
