Many years ago during my visit to friends in Kanazawa, we visited her relatives in Kyoto. Saw the golden shrine. and it's environs. Wonderful. Sadly I didn't see the silver shrine. It was under repair. But I have lovely memories of a special holiday. Blessings and deep respect to the Japanese people.❤❤❤
Wow! I loved this film. It's like reading a Murakami book. The use of sound and music is absolutely fantastic-calm and soothing, yet it keeps you intrigued. Lovely!
watching your videos at night soothe me. i've found a new appreciation for this country, thanks to my job and your videos hehe. i like to believe japan is calling me to visit and one day i shall :p
Beautiful video! I’m going to Kyoto in November, so I’m sure it won’t be nearly as peaceful with the crowds, but I’m looking forward to going to some of these places.
Congratulations on the video, it was excellent, Japan is a wonderful country, I hope to visit it one day. I started a channel here on RUclips recently and record in the same way here in Brazil. I signed up, I will follow you from now on. A big hug !!!🙂
@@LinhTran-ll6zp usually I will go right at opening time, or 1-2 hours before closing time. I picked a few places I definitely wanted to see like Kiyomizu and Otagi and went early, the ones I’m not so interested in I went in between and dealt with the crowds. Hope you enjoy your trip!
trust me, you do not want to go to anywhere in japan, especially kyoto, in summer. it gets to 40+ degrees, and most of the stuff you want to do in kyoto, the temples, the walking in the cool streets, just won't work because its so hot and you wanna stay indoors
I was supposed to be in kyoto at this time but the rain made me change my mind. Is it worth it to visit kyoto at this time? Im does the rain really ruin the stay?
There wasn’t much rain when I went (which was early June/Late May), even if it does rain it’s not for the whole day so you could still carry on as usual with an umbrella. Can’t say for around July/August though!
@@victorchai315 hi! I stayed here en.stay-sakura.com/kiyomizugojo and I found it decent, has a washing machine as well. I liked the location as you can just walk to Kiyomizu Dera, where public transport can get really busy at peak times so it’s nice to have the flexibility to just walk around the area
The best feeling is to get up very early in old Kyoto and walk around. It is such a special feeling 🥰
