  • There are a lot of questions (and misconceptions) about fats and health. Fats are essential to human health, especially omega-3 fatty acids which my clients usually get from flax and chia.
    .
Avocadoes are not essential for disease reversal, but are not harmful either and most people enjoy them for texture and satiety during disease reversal.
    .
Nuts, while containing healthy vitmamins and minerals, are also a source of omega-6 which can slow down your healing early on so I suggest avoiding them initially while you work to increase your omega-3 intake, then adding them when your symptoms let up.
    .
