      I practically mimic your results! I was diagnosed with MS in 2001 and about 3 years later with Secondary Progressive! I sent for Dr Swanks book and adhered to it then followed Dr Mcdougall and never had another flareup. My latest MRI showed no MS activity!

    “I rather over dose nutrition than fasting….Dr. Goldner “ words to ponder

    • @goodfellabeats
      @goodfellabeats 15 дней назад

      Not really. The science for fasting for healing is very, very strong. Eating too much of a single type of food can lead to poor gut health and allergic reactions. Even healthy foods. It shouldn't be an either or and it is a shame that she said this because it makes me trust her less.

    True, at home problem solving is the best. Staying at a facility is another form of escape and doesn't strengthen coping strategies in real time and real environment.

    Right. My husband attended True North twice, fasting for 40 days. He lost a boatload of weight and his health issues. Both times he came home and binged on his favorite fast and processed foods until he had gained even more weight and all his health issues returned. Ya gotta learn to be healthy at home, work, and daily life/environment. And he ended up with a necrotic gall bladder from the fasting.

    I have Sarcoidosis and have not been feeling great so began doing kale smoothies 6 days ago and it is not easy because I am drinking a vegetable that when raw has a taste that I can only describe as what I imagine skunk urine would taste like. I am adding a few bananas which is necessary and berries, I have been able to improve taste with stevia and have a Vitamix to help keep particle size tiny so it don't get caught in my throat as I tend to get a gag reflex, which is getting better as I discover little tricks to improve taste and texture. I have begun to feel better every day and although I am still eating a small amount of animal products 2 oz a week of turkey or fish they will phased out in a week or so. I will also eat a small amount of steamed veggies as I have tried all raw while visiting Hippocrates years ago and felt horrible and the agreed that a small amount of steamed veggies in the evening would help and it did. I think it may take me a bit longer to heal but with the added fruit and steamed veggies I believe I can do it.

    Is anyone else concerned about weight gain from this vilume of omega 3's? I am also diabetic and advised to go fat free, wfpb sos free.

    • @odettegladwin6133
      @odettegladwin6133 Месяц назад +1

      Omega 3's are what your body uses to make healthy cell membranes. Not body fat.

    • @rubenperalesRD
      @rubenperalesRD Месяц назад +2

      The omega-3 fat sources need to be a part of your diet because these are essential fats that the body needs. They help to reduce inflammation in the body. You are not trying to go no fat but get an appropriate amount of healthy plant based fats in an amount that fits into your calorie level.

      Hello. He doesn't need to speak English to get better. He needs HIS SISTER to listen to this, go back and look at old videos of Dr. Brook Goldner and for YOU to show him the way. No English needed. Her old videos show you everything he needs to do. Blessings to you.

      @girlygirl1890 yes, I have tried to get them to see these things, but the family is very resistant to change. I've offered to take care of him back to health if he wants to move in with us, but he doesn't.

      @@annaburke8537 Ohhhh. I understand. Well, it looks like you have offered, and you have tried to show him the way. That's awesome of you, that you even offered for him to move in with you. But if he does not, then there is nothing you can do about that. At least you've tried. I would say this...maybe if you can go back and look at her old videos and write down exactly what to put into the smoothies and tell him to make them everyday, is what he needs. If you dedicate maybe one day to go to his house and show him exactly what to do, by doing it for him, maybe that will work. Good luck to you and you are a good sister for trying. But you are doing your part for trying. Bless you and hope he improves. You are a good sister. 🙏🥰
