When I studied music at college years ago, one of the bands covered Judas Priest's classic Breaking The Law. But then for the Christmas gig they played the same song but put the lyrics for Deck The Halls to it, so the chorus was "Decking the halls, Decking the halls". I've never been able to listen to that song in the same way and it's 15 years later! 🤦🤣

I feel like Psychostick's "Zombie Claus" (a parody of Rob Zombie's "Dragula") belongs on this list. That and Skid Row's "Jingle Bells" are the two songs that put me in the right spirit for the holidays anyway.

I would add the EP 'A Very Deathcore Christmas With Brojob' to the list. The artist and genre is pretty self-explanatory. I think my favorite song off it is their version of Feliz Navidad.

Not quite a "Xmas Metal" tune but once upon a time ago I started playing Weird Al Yankovic, The Night Santa Went Crazy. It became my Christmas tradition to blast that in the house on Christmas morning.

Listening to modern Christmas-songs can be a real Russian roulette. You never know if you'll get something actually good, or just some failed artist trying to revive their career like the guy in Love Actually. It's much safer to listen to metal-Christmas tunes, since then you at least get some sweet riffs.
I knew about half of these, but the other half looks sweet. Deffinitly going to play these now when the nights get longer and colder. 🤘

Halford's "Christmas For Everyone" is a favourite of mine, as is "Fuck Christmas" by Fear. Two very different vibes between them, haha, but they both match my moods during the holidays.

Surprised to see power metal and metalcore getting love, but not mad at it. Kinda lacking in the type o Xmas songs tho, like red water! (Halloween in Heaven also works for both holidays).
I have some other metal Christmas songs which are pretty cool. Corey Taylor: X-M@$ and ice nine kills: Merry Axe-Mas they are both great 🤘😁
Nice job spotlighting twisted sisters twisted Christmas. It's more rock than metal but I'd recommend Mary axmas and of course there's Bob Rivers.

Not the biggest metalcore fan myself (love power metal above all else) but I have always had a soft spot for August Burns Red. Especially the silly Christmas covers. The All I Want for Christmas is You cover makes me cackle every time I see that artwork with Jake doing the Mariah Carey pose. Hope everyone here has a pleasant holiday season!
