Savior of Metal saving us from fake metal festivals & fake metal fashion. Metal welcomed everyone except scammers. A fake festival band - ridiculous. Great video
i hate it but these days i have to triple check where i am buying merch from to make sure the band actually gets the money. since i mostly consume music on Spotify, i buy a lot of shirts, hats, etc. from bands to support them the way i used to when i would buy CDs....i bet they get more cash out of merch sales than hard copy album sales, anyway.
Many, many years ago I made it a point to only buy shirts from bands on tour for this exact reason. There’s only been a couple of instances where I bought a shirt online and it was directly from the band’s web store that they themselves operated.
Tbf, bootlegs have always existed and these days with bandcamp and other sites it's easier than ever to make sure the money you spend is actually reaching the band.
Conspiracy theory. Would Dani give a green light for them to do a blatant rip and funnel him some cash? Hmmmmm...... But OMG, I need to cancel my subscriptions to the interscreens and go live in the woods for a while. The whole world is dumb
I am so close to joining you it's not even funny I've built myself a literal offline library and even a micropower radio station with a part 15 transmitter that I bought at Walmart a while ago and a SanDisk clip sport MP3 player
In some defense of Balenciaga, the hoodies and t-shirts are part of their couture collection, so not something that is generally on sale to the general public in stores. It'd be crafted by their ateliers in France rather than a sweatshop in china, so their descriptions are correct, just like any high fashion dress/suit ect is. Made to order for the client. But granted not getting permission from the bands is bogus. They did however release an official collaboration with Rammstein back in 2021 for alot less than $30k, but still pricey in regards to clothing.
In terms of permission of the use of images, Demna (the designer/creative director of balenciaga) is known for a lot of satirical/parody graphics, especially when he was working in his own brand Vetements, which parodied a lot of graphics and pop culture with a very specific attitude that people find appealing.
Recently saw a worn Blind Guardian t shirt being sold for 120£ by some “fancy” second hand in London. The worst part is that the shirt was sooo worn out that the print has 90% faded and it had visible torn holes in it💀
Back in 2017 I took my kids to NYC and my teen daughter wanted to go to Dash, which is a clothing store owned by one of the Kardashians. So I'm in there looking around, and I see a rack of white Megadeth Peace Sells t-shirts. They were obvious bootlegs with a shit quality print on them, and they had been distressed to make them look "vintage". $85 US. I was like "Ok we're leaving."
Oh for a couple minutes there before I actually saw the video I thought somebody had absolutely lost it and was selling one of those rock and roll will never die with the guitar on it or something like that kind of t-shirts for all together way too damn much yeah this is way worse. Good catch man
This stuff is rampant. Nobody has aby original creative ideas anymore.. Ive noticed youtubers also ripping off bands for their logos. Independent bands, not mega rockstars. So much disrespect and narcissism. 🤮
Dude 3 days ago I went to a store and was checking band shirt. I pick one up , and the guy take it off my hands like it’s a Louis Vuitton. He goes it’s a vintage 1999 DEATH T-SHIRT. I’m like it’s a knock off DEATH ts , just the logo how do you know it’s vintage . It’s was probably sold outside the venue when the show was on . And the price tag was 200 plus tax. Man I told the guy to f. Off . Fed up with this trend 😢
To be fair Oil Syke’s fashion brand dropdead does this. Like I’ve seen them rip off the circle jerks logo. Though I’d say it presented in a more playful way and more obvious what they’re doing. The shirts can also be like 60 bucks but they’re really nice. In balenciaga’s case if you’re going to spend 30,000 you might as well diy it. Find stupid nice blanks and buy your own printer, you’d still be saving money tbh.
To be fair, metalheads are often willing to pay a lot for rare shirts and other merch that isnt in production any more or was a limited run. But the fashion industry getting involved and retro/vintage in general being on the rise isnt helping the case.
Wearing this feeble garb to an extreme show may get you thrown in a dumpster 😂 Even if u like this absolute cringe looking garbage I would be very careful buying from the seller, as it looks like a scam site. Thanks for exposing this woke, fake, cringe trash Wyatt! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Listen up Balenciaga, our culture is not your costume. Have some respect and stop the appropriation
I’m convinced these high fashion companies are just trolling people
they have to be
Actually that person is probably sitting next to some poor Metalhead on the bus and the Metalhead is absolutely blushing at this point.

This is crazy. Early 2000 when I wore that exact clothing I got made fun of, and now it’s popular.
Kanyes GF would totally wear those
Dani needs to sue the living fuck out of them for that blatant copyright infringement.
Just buy a Cradle Of Filth shirt in XXL from Hot Topic for 25 bucks lol
Or wait when they're on clearance and you can get it for 9. 😂
@@SuperCosmicMutantSquid Clearance? Hot topic???

The bands own website would be the best way to go.

Dani Filth is rubbing his hands right now

That video of the models and other people wearing those weird outfits immediately reminded me of the shunting from the movie Society.
Demna the designer himself is a metalhead and has referenced multiple metal bands in both his time at Balenciaga and his time at vetements
Nothing they make will beat the classic AB/CD you can find on almost every store that sells bootleg t-shirts from many bands😂
1000% dumb. They are the AI version of fashion.
Oh, the bands could do them for IP infringement especially since its so much like them to cause confusion.
Except with AI anyone can create their drugged induced creations. Balenciaga just pretends their shit is worth about three paychecks.

thank you!!
I hope Cradle of Filth makes a shirt that mocks this like Slayers “Kill the Kardashians” shirt
Cradle Of Filth and Benediction fkin Rock!!!
Time to start writing "by Balenciaga" on all my clothes.

Man I hope I never encounter anyone wearing this. But when I do, I'm going to follow them holding a phone playing Cradle of Filth to their ear.
What a fkin ripoff. You can get 100 wristbands with a custom printed design for €60.

Wear that shit on a public street in a major city. I dare you.
I’m a little late to the show, but in all honesty, wtf 😂😂😂
Hey bro keep making videos 💪

Balenciaga is Gene Simmons of clothes.

Balaciaga, I'll never buy from you again! Oh wait...
that's crazy.
i've got some band shirts... That's about as far as my sense of fashion goes.. But Balenciaga looks like a parody...
Im so confused right now. Like thats not even a stretch
This is early similar to metaldays, Boban?
Why are they wearing a butterfly on their head?
*offers a coffee* :)
bro yesterday is saw a "vintage" carcass shirt for 400 dollars!!

That's a bad version of the grunge look. Grunge was wearing one or two sizes bigger NOT FIVE sizes bigger!

This is mad
Wow what a bunch of posers lol?
you just arnt smart enough to understand them.....or their legit ties to CP. we are too dumb
This is another reason why I'm an anarcho communist, Anarchist philosopher Peter Kropotkin could have been a metalhead today
Anarcho-communism cannot exist. Communism requires top-down authority over the economy and Anarchy is the complete absence of authority
Eww
