All the bloodborne gurus I got a couple questions: When do I become the main character? Why am I not doing any damage when I have stuff upgraded? and can I get cool abilities?
Don't forget to repair and upgrade your weapons when you can and just look for secrets, you can find really cool abilities and upgrades if you backtrack and search for secrets
you can use blood gems and runes to do more damage and for more health so you just got to look around to find some good gems as those really allow you to do more damage
Some enemies are weaker to a specific type of attack, like the mind flayers (the dude who sucked your head) is vulnerable to thrust damege, also some hunters have really high defenses so you have to relay on critical hits like parries/backstabs or on elemental damages. Also you can use intuition to increase bestiality. It works like this more its -->More damage less defences. Also you missed a ton of optional areas which should be done before this areas
Ludwig was wrecking everything on my first run this ain't the damage it shud be doin proly gotta upgrade ur weapon w chunks put in the best gems u have atm n get your strength n skill to 25-30
Watching your insight get ticked down by the brainsucker at the beginning was just great. You are missing a lot of secret areas and items, but BB is the kind of game that keeps on giving on NG+ :)
Id recommend grinding a bit and looking around for some blood stone chunks to upgrade your weapon. Buffing it up to atleast +8 is what you should aim for before heading further on. From what Im seeing in the video you do skip a LOT man. Bloodborne isn't the kind of game you'd wanna rush through, both due to difficulty spike and the overall experience, cause the entirity of it is just simply brilliant. Anyways gl and hf with it o/
@@jasonalvarado7029 Maybe, but wouldn't thy want the game to be more enjoyable, + finding necessary materials rly isn't hard at all. On top of the weapon upgrade grinding chalice dungeons for some nice quality gems is equally important in late game and id suggest doing that if you want to experience Bloodborne fully. Cause you gotta remember, what's most important is that the hunta must hunt! _o/
@@jasonalvarado7029 nah you need to be +8 at least before entering Yahargul after the blood moon, otherwise you're going to have a difficult time like the dude in this video
Don't think you noticed, but that guy with a tentacle coming out of his head permanently takes your insight, 2 per grab, plus he can spam that stun magic too, hands down as one of the most annoying enemies in the game on par with the winter lanterns (another enemy that kills you by looking at you) About the damage, there is a whole bunch of blood chuncks you missed in yha'hargul that can get your weapon to +9. The ability micolash and that other hunter used with the explosive stars is called A Call Beyond, the most op tool in the game (obviously). You need to get a key in yha'hrgul, which grants access to the upper cathedral ward and keep progressing until you find a boss called celestial emissary. Once you beat it, break the window near the lantern, and you will see it on a bannister inside. Edit: I forgot to mention A Call Beyond requires 40 arcane and uses about 7 bullets per use. Has S rank arcane scaling
2 things to add to this. A Call Beyond is a devastating attack to get hit by for you. But is wildly inaccurate and nowhere near as potent if the PC hunter uses it. Additionally (opinion) the brainsuckers are one of the most obnoxious enemies in the game and not worth fighting 99% of the time. Winter Lanterns, on the other hand, are exceptionally worth the effort to farm out as they drop the best bloodgems you can get in the game.
little tip:make sure to go to side areas like cainhurst, and look in some areas you might have left for new stuff after the blood moon or when you get stronger so you can level up and get weapons like the chikage, or knight armor
@@Floverse whats really sick is that the horses that take you to cainhurst, are dead when you hop out of the carriage, and the bridge is broken off,so its like time travel
Even more tips that other people haven't covered: You have your weapon of choice, what do you do with it? The priority list is as follows: Blood gems, weapon level, appropriate stats, and durability. The very fastest way to hit like a truck is to get better blood gems. ALWAYS USE % BASED ATTACK INCREASE. NEVER FLAT STAT. There is another important thing to this as well. NEVER USE ELEMENTAL GEMS UNLESS ITS AN ELEMENTAL WEAPON. You're far better off using fire/bolt paper for their respective effects if you need them. With that out of the way. By the time you fight Rom and beyond, you should have at least a level 6 weapon, which can be buffed to at least level 8 if you bother to explore the forbidden woods and look for a few chunks. Moving on. Depending on weapon, your stat layout isnt majorly important. You're far better off keeping your VIT 5-10 levels above your offensive stats and your endurance stat a few levels above as well. Example 25Vit, 20 end, 15 str 15 dex. Stats hit a soft cap around 50. Once your Vit reaches 40, you can focus a lot more on your offense. Moving on Durability is something honestly forgetable on this game. Its a tax to keep you honest and nothing more. Remember to periodically repair your weapons. Its good practice to do it every time you go back to the hunters dream.
PSA for the 3 Hunters in Yahargul: there's a jail cell in the room at the bottom of the spiral stairs, it's the one you wake up in after being killed by a snatcher. You can quickly draw their aggro, then run down and close the cell door behind you. Then use a weapon with enough reach to hit them through the bars. 💯
The nightmare and the dream in bloodborne are both a physical places that exists like a whole new realm and both are created by a human host like (micolash for example the one you just fought who have so much knowledge that it drove him to insanity ) ,in the lore humans got that kind of a knowledge to create realms from the old ones ( basically aliens)
Also, the reason you keeo coming back to life is not all parts of the city are equally real now - as long as you're bound to the hunter's dream, the rest of the city is like a nightmare to you - when you die, you simply wake up screaming. Nikolash is in the opposite situation - he's in a nightmare university with the things that used to be his students - but when you kill him, he doesn't wake up, because his 'real' body is long dead - you found it earlier.
Already basically been said but, definitely take some more time to conquer the areas you might’ve missed/already been through to get ahead of the late game! I put a gross amount of hours into my first play through and I started my second play through a few weeks back and I felt like I was better prepared in the first hour of the second game than I was the whole first time I was addicted to playing lol It’s dumb to say that “it’s gets easier the more you play” but there are definitely certain areas that I didn’t realize made the game WAY easier after fully exploring them and stocking up. Great bridge to below bridge to kill giants for easy blood vials. Forbidden woods/Hemwick for quicksilver bullets etc I know you’re already through a lot of the game but an hour or two of focusing on a few small things could make the rest of the run a bit easier and fun 👊🏻 great videos !!

Yeah there's definitely something wrong here XD That sword is like the biggest damage dealin' slab of metal in this game but when I see you hitting bosses your slapping them with a toothpick. Are you equipping the best blood gems at your disposal? Did you find some of the good ones? Ik if you go back and explore Ya'hargul, you can acutally find a +18% physical damage tempering gem, that's like the biggest one in the base game save for the chalice dungeon gems. I'd hella see if you found it or not. Blood Gems make the biggest difference. That and you should probably have a like, +8 weapon by now. I'd check that out as well mah man. Good luck!
@@Floverse I hope you're having fun man you've earned a sub especially if you continue to do these first playthroughs of souls likes. And I don't subscribe to anyone
some sugestions are level up your weapon and explore the areas so you can get the gems and materials for the weapon, also that sword scales good with STR arround 40 would be ok for the game
A follow up, the Holy Blade is what is called a "quality" weapon. It scales well with strength, but also has pretty decent skill scaling. Fun fact: levelling skill also makes your visceral attacks do more damage. Visceral damage is based mainly on your blood level and skill level, and slightly based on the "thrust" damage on your weapon
As everyone says definitely the side areas for more things to do but also to get more stuff. But for pure damage increase, the chalice dungeons will do the trick with the high rank blood gems
Great series! One of my favorite games of all time. There are different types of dmg: pierce, blunt and slash and every enemy has weakness to some type of dmg and every weapon ATTACK has a different type of dmg. Ludwig's sword in general is slash, but long R2 is pierce damage for example. The students in the nightmare are weak to blunt dmg. Also, you should invest in stamina. Ludwig's is the best weapon of the base game too. Don't rush it, you missing a lot of stuff!
You can upgrade your weapons in Hunter's dream through the blood chunks and stuff. the beast pallet increased your damage the more you hit the enemy. when the meter is full your damage basically is more than double. Fire paper is good for beasts and stuff and bolt paper is good for everything that is not a beast.
This was the first and only game I’ve ever got a platinum on. I used to think that platinum trophies were boring but I loved bloodborne sm that it was genuinely fun asf
I'll definitely recommend you to play the DLC bosses after finishing the main game first cuz you need all the upgrade you can get, orphen of Kos will make you cry.
Do side areas like nightmare frontier, cainhurst, etc. try to collect materials to upgrade ur weapon cause that increases dmg more than stat increase will. In my replays i dont even touch mensis before i defeat most of the side and optional bosses
I apologize if someone else has already said it, but beast blood pellets are like a double-edge sword, the higher the meter the more damage you do and take.
Have you spending your echos to upgrade your vitality and stregnth? You definitely need more health and that weapon scales with strength. Next you want blood shards and chunk, (the little critters that you seen at 6:45 contain the upgrade materials. Just catch them and kill em before they run off)
Ehi dude Do the chalice dungeons. In them you will find tons of upgrade materials and variant weapons, just be careful about the the depth, because the deeper you go the more ng+s the game scales. Also remember some enemies have elemental weakness (like fire, elctricity and arcane which you can increase/insert in your weapon with blood gems)
It’s highly satisfying watching you play this game cause I struggled so much when this game came out. Found this game harder than Elden Ring. Try using some different weapons for different enemy types. I rocked the Tonitrus for a hefty portion of my play though. So many enemies are weak to lightning, it’s a quick weapon and you can buff it. The cane whip or whatever it’s called is pretty good too. Also depends on your build I guess. Anyways hope to see more bloodborne content. Cheers
I don't know if you ever found the insight fountain in the Hunters dream but you can buy Gascoigne Set and it's probably overall the best armor of the game.
If you decide to play this game again There are poison knives you can get at the beginning of the game if you get them you can use them for micolash When he jumps off the ledge from a balcony you can use a couple of poison knives and poison him Then after the poison wares off on him you can do it again and again and again and again until he dies
Ok so the alien are called great once the blue things are some thing else but the once that you see with inside are great once or like great once basically they are the things that made everyone monsters
BloodBorne, like most souls games, reward explorations so you should hunt for bloodgems, shards etc. You're using Ludwig's holy blade which I recommend using it's normal form to attack twice (stun lock) then press the transform button on the 3rd attack for normal enemies and for bosses just use the claymore version as it's much better although slower. EDIT: although there is definitely something wrong with your holy blade, it's one of the best weapons yet both forms are dealing little damage.
i have more hours on bloodborne since release than any other game , still playing till this day and i NEVER got tired of it , few of my friends bought a ps4 just to play bloodborne they didnt regret for sure 😂
You missed upper chatedral ward when there is a laser shooting creature in yahargul there amount the hags is a crack in which you will be able to enter a cage with the upper chatedral ward key it’s the door ahead the chest you got the holy sword from
Level up your gear and stats, one thing I cannot stress enough, take your time and look around. There is so much to be seen and a lot of secret areas for some crazy cool gear and big upgrade pieces.
TL:DR The reason I love the Soulsbornering series is because they are the most layered stories they aren't giving you the details of unless you really start to ask those questions. They will provide the answers but leave it open to interpretation and keep it enough of a mystery to keep you imagination running wild. Like Elden Ring. What if our sun was a parasite like the Erd Tree. Something we have no idea that isn't natural and provides our planet warmth and sustenance and has shaped our world how we know it and our small lives. What if the sun was brought here by an outer god imposing it's will. Bloodborne is the best told. I love Dark Souls very much but Bloodborne goes crazy. The game presents itslef like you are a beast hunter but it's so much more and will uncover as the game goes on. the truth is comsic horrors the eyes can't see. The more insight you gain then more your thoughts are elevated to different planes of existence you see things you shouldn't bee seeing. Byrgenwerth the college where Willem and Laurence have the falling out. Byrgenwerth is a college all for the sake of human evolution. All the practitioners of this college cover their eyes with cloth or whatever and the idea behind it is to not see outward but to turn your sight inward. To line your brain with eyes so you gain insight and elevate your thoughts to other planes of existence. There are a series of tunnels under Byrgenwerth of an ancient civilization and they found something there...a substance that can achieve the goals on the physical plain that the college was trying to achieve. What they found was blood of something and they knew it was the key to the answers they were looking for. Willem was against it and Laurence who headed the exhibitions into the tunnels had a falling out. Laurence and a group of the college left and started the Healing Church and the blood brought them to power extremely quick. Crushed the government by a landslide if they were the ones who held power before. The blood had the power to cure any ailment or disease even life threatening. The problem was it was not only that but extremely addicting as it was unexplainable. To give an idea Yharnam produced blood drinks in a higher volume than alcoholic drinks as people preferred the blood. But the blood came at a price. It started to turn the people who were regularly imbibing in it which was majority of society. Slowly people started to transform into beasts and the Healing Church saw the threat and employed the Hunters. This is where Gherman (and Maria) come into play as the very start of the Healing Church Hunters and the Hunters Workshop. Dispatching Hunters by night guise to quietly take out the threat of the beasts so the public wasn't the wiser. Long story shorter the closer humanity came to beast hood the more the veil of reality started to lift and show a nightmare of cosmic horror proportions. Read The Pale Blood Hunt by Red Grave. It will give more info but Bloodborne is a true masterpiece. If would like to know more I can flesh it out but already writing a novel here.
I played dark souls 1 2 3 bloodborne sekiro and elden ring Bloodborne remains my favorite from software game I swear playing bloodborne gave me an experience I have never felt in my life I literally see the entire video games in differently after I played bloodborne most from software I played went ng+ around 6 to 8 times Bloodborne is literally the only game I managed to play it ng+ around 22 times and I am planning on starting new ng Bloodborne isn't a game it is an art a masterpiece and I really really hoping for bloodborne 2 or a remake or remaster
Calm down, man. It's just a video game. Very good, mind you. All games From Software acquire a cult status and over time they begin to be talked about as classics. Ds1 is a generation game, BB is a ps4 hit, Ds3 is generally a solid game that took the hype to a new level, Ds2 is still a decent game. Sekiro and ER are all games of the year. The main thing is to enjoy the time spent.
@LuM4x it is called giving an opinion I know it is a game but the dread and despair with badass combat is something I never experienced until i played bloodborne I am appreciating how hit on the spot bloodborne was for me Matter a fact I haven't played video games for like a month from now lol
When a boss is low and you dont want to come near him, you can pop a Bone Marrow Ash to buff your gun for one shot and then keep spammimg the gun. Saved me a lot boss runs. Also, if you have things you dont use, like pebbles, for example, you can sell it to buy some extra blood vials. Like others have wrote in your comments, see if you missed some areas, you might be underleveled for some of the areas. Do the chalice dungeons, since youre technically supposed to go do them, except nothing in the game really explains when to do so (aside from when shit absolutely wrecks you) Oh! Almosy forgot. Dont forget your runes, my guy. Claw, for example, does extra damage on viscerals. Theres three tiers to each rune. Grey, light grey and white being the strongest
Tell me you knew what these crawling things drop? And idk if you checked your weapon sometimes when it’s broken it foes way less damage. But your videos are TOP keep going
You ate not really the main character. Just one of many hunters being used by great ones to kill one another. Multi dimensional power struggle. To get your weapon strong, rush upgrade materials. The cool powers are arcane tools for an arcane build. Slow start, but fun once leveled.
I was crying you could go and kill the guys throwing flames at you with the boss fight. After a few tries I said no way there has to be a way to get those guys out of the equation.
Couple of things but, well, you won't run into anymore trio bosses per se just, a lot of living failures. Also that's not a whip it's a pimp cane. And check out the paleblood hunt if you're enjoying the game and want to know more about the lore hope you have fun and again great vid.

Next you want blood shards and chunk, (the little critters that you seen at 6:45 contain the upgrade materials. Just catch them and kill em before they run off)
Ehi dude
Do the chalice dungeons. In them you will find tons of upgrade materials and variant weapons, just be careful about the the depth, because the deeper you go the more ng+s the game scales. Also remember some enemies have elemental weakness (like fire, elctricity and arcane which you can increase/insert in your weapon with blood gems)
love the bloodborne videos! def my favorite souls game
I love the calebcity damage sounds you put in😂
It’s highly satisfying watching you play this game cause I struggled so much when this game came out.
Bro ve killn me when he walk into a room n be like helllooooo👀 .nxt thing you know mink mink 😂
Can we appreciated the Calebcity getting smacked sound effects in this man's videos
It is not the heavy attack dealing more damage, it's the piercing attack that is the enemy weakness
If you decide to play this game again There are poison knives you can get at the beginning of the game if you get them you can use them for micolash When he jumps off the ledge from a balcony you can use a couple of poison knives and poison him Then after the poison wares off on him you can do it again and again and again and again until he dies
My favorite bloodborne RUclipsR
This cap 🧢
The awk awk awk sound in the beginning 😂😂😂
Ok so the alien are called great once the blue things are some thing else but the once that you see with inside are great once or like great once basically they are the things that made everyone monsters
Unseen village is the real nightmare
You definitely want to backtrack lol. Try a few of the secret areas before mensis. That's endgame.
Whaaaaa that makes so much more sense I couldn’t kill anything
BloodBorne, like most souls games, reward explorations so you should hunt for bloodgems, shards etc. You're using Ludwig's holy blade which I recommend using it's normal form to attack twice (stun lock) then press the transform button on the 3rd attack for normal enemies and for bosses just use the claymore version as it's much better although slower.
EDIT: although there is definitely something wrong with your holy blade, it's one of the best weapons yet both forms are dealing little damage.
Gotta love good ol Micolash.. aaahaaaaa majesticccc!😂💀
Micolash isn't really dead he goes on to haunt your nightmares evermore
i have more hours on bloodborne since release than any other game , still playing till this day and i NEVER got tired of it , few of my friends bought a ps4 just to play bloodborne they didnt regret for sure 😂
Those little guys that crawl around drop stuff for you to upgrade your weapons. You gotta kill them quick before they disappear.
When fighting human bosses (hunters) use your gun to parry them since they attack constantly its easy to pull of
Shaman bone blades are for the sharks and the sharks alone. All hail rakuyo
"it wasn't that hard"
*Gets clapped by magic spider god rocks on repeat*
You re in endgame area you need to upgrade your weapon to +9, after 2 Bosses more the game go to the end of it but still you can go to optional areas
Make sure you're using those blood stones to upgrade weapons homie. Would help you not need to charge attack every time.
You missed upper chatedral ward when there is a laser shooting creature in yahargul there amount the hags is a crack in which you will be able to enter a cage with the upper chatedral ward key it’s the door ahead the chest you got the holy sword from
I love it when you say waaaaavveeee 😭😭😭
Tonight, Gehrman joins the hunt
Yes! New video!
Level up your gear and stats, one thing I cannot stress enough, take your time and look around. There is so much to be seen and a lot of secret areas for some crazy cool gear and big upgrade pieces.
seeing so many remakes i hope bloodborne gets one too
you should get the hunter set in the sewer at the starting area for drip
It seems like your damage is really low. Make sure your upgraded as high as you can go and stat correctly.
i would say rune farm for a bit is all. ludwig holy blade scales with strength and skill, level that up and if ur weapon is levelled ur good
Heads up thrust damage helps against the insight sucker enemies!
Bro I finally played bloodborne as your series is posted and I gotta say I’m glad I found your channel you funny as hell
Thank you man 🙏
Little tip. Kin (alien enemies) don't like thrust damage
Beasts (werewolves and stuff) don't like fire
Knowing I beat this game made me wonder if I’m sane
Running through a level is a legit strat
ayo how do you make these thumbnails i need to know pls lmao
I played dark souls 1 2 3 bloodborne sekiro and elden ring
Bloodborne remains my favorite from software game
I swear playing bloodborne gave me an experience I have never felt in my life I literally see the entire video games in differently after I played bloodborne most from software I played went ng+ around 6 to 8 times
Bloodborne is literally the only game I managed to play it ng+ around 22 times and I am planning on starting new ng
Bloodborne isn't a game it is an art a masterpiece and I really really hoping for bloodborne 2 or a remake or remaster
@LuM4x it is called giving an opinion
I know it is a game but the dread and despair with badass combat is something I never experienced until i played bloodborne I am appreciating how hit on the spot bloodborne was for me
Matter a fact I haven't played video games for like a month from now lol
When a boss is low and you dont want to come near him, you can pop a Bone Marrow Ash to buff your gun for one shot and then keep spammimg the gun. Saved me a lot boss runs.
Also, if you have things you dont use, like pebbles, for example, you can sell it to buy some extra blood vials.
Like others have wrote in your comments, see if you missed some areas, you might be underleveled for some of the areas. Do the chalice dungeons, since youre technically supposed to go do them, except nothing in the game really explains when to do so (aside from when shit absolutely wrecks you)
Oh! Almosy forgot. Dont forget your runes, my guy. Claw, for example, does extra damage on viscerals. Theres three tiers to each rune. Grey, light grey and white being the strongest
my brother you are underleveled
You let that guy suck all your insight man that must have been felt refreshing xD
Did my man really beat Micolash before doing the Witches of Hemwick or did I missed that one?
Nah u didn’t apparently I rushed through a lot and gotta go back lmao
I just Found this and i know it has been over a year ago but i wanted to ask have you ever tried chalice dungeons
Has someone told him about the 86K blood echo every 10 seconds farm route?
No other game will ever make me panic and question everything in terror than Bloodborne
I crqcked tf up everytime i die the most dumbest way
Tell me you knew what these crawling things drop? And idk if you checked your weapon sometimes when it’s broken it foes way less damage. But your videos are TOP keep going
0:43 Look at your insight points for a few seconds...
Bro wasted the shaman bone blade when it could've been used in the fishing hamlet
Just like the real world, the more insight you have - the more you will perceive
I think I saw your weapon get at risk last episode, so try repairing it at the workbench in the dream it might be broken?
Bloodborne is such à masterpiece. Today you make a video about bloodborne and People will click. From software really need to hear that
All I have to say for you is a good luck Because you are embarking on a journey that will be very tough
Yes! I love Micolash.
You ate not really the main character. Just one of many hunters being used by great ones to kill one another. Multi dimensional power struggle. To get your weapon strong, rush upgrade materials. The cool powers are arcane tools for an arcane build. Slow start, but fun once leveled.
So he got excited about insight and still confused which aliens they’re referring too 😂 I’m guessing he eventually found out it’s the amygdala?
I was crying you could go and kill the guys throwing flames at you with the boss fight. After a few tries I said no way there has to be a way to get those guys out of the equation.
You have to understand that you can only parry enemies that are humanoid and less than 2x your size.
You missed an area outside the church of Amelia, exit and go right
All Kin are weak to Bolt and Thrust attacks. Always use Thrust attacks for Kin.
Have you repaired your armor and weapons at the workshop
ARMOR!???? I thought u only had to repair weapons?
@@Floverse you’re right, just the weapons
Couple of things but, well, you won't run into anymore trio bosses per se just, a lot of living failures. Also that's not a whip it's a pimp cane. And check out the paleblood hunt if you're enjoying the game and want to know more about the lore hope you have fun and again great vid.
