I built one cause well #1 Its cool as hell. and #2 we have a wasp problem here, I've mounted a cheap amazon lazer to it and man its fun, its extremely powerful and there's rarely anything left if a wasp takes a direct hit. With my buddies goofing around we shot each other with it a few times and man the FPS is serious and I would not want to get hit on bare skin or through a tight fitting shirt closer than 20 feet. Also the whole "it needs lots of love to work" is definitely true, if you're patient, good at hands on fab work and have (and can properly calibrate) your own 3dprinter you can 100% make your own.
These days we can take a standard parts kit up into the 190/200s with the community mods and integrated scar. Add some extra spring on a longer plunger and we're getting 215/220s, and some absurd mods take it in the 230s/240s through an integrated bcar using an entire full size K25 spring in an extended frame and slide.
I got too frustrated with the 1.0 version's trigger and catch. Never did get it finished. I might have to give this 2.0 version a try. Well done, my friend.
It’s definitely one of the most aggressive looking blasters out there which is why I have that lengthy section at the end advising people to be smart about it.
Literally just got my Zinc 2.0 hw kit today as an early birthday present. I’m VERY excited to build it.
Great build as always. That blue filament is so beautiful.
It’s definitely one of my new favorite filaments

I didn’t even attempt the 1.0 because of all the horror stories but o do recommend trying the 2.0
Excellent as usual.
noice content right here
Is that Kerb's massive plunger tube thing on the wall behind you?
It’s the massive burn. It’s currently a WIP
Bought a 1.0 and managed to lose the barrel. The 2.0 definitely seems worth the print
It looks so real

@@Boomstickmods you do make the best nerf mods ever
I appreciate the compliment
Your welcome
how big is it in inches not fully primed?
About 9 and a half inches
Love the grip tape! I've been thinking about adding some to mine. Did you use skateboard griptape? And did you use templates to cut the pieces out?
The tape came with the hardware kit and my wife was kind enough to freehand cut them for me
Do I spot a Sobek in the background? How'd you get one of those? :O
Beta tester
@@Boomstickmods any word on how he's progressing? I can't wait to build one.
@@VirginiaRican Hard to say. Supposedly sometime this year but I’m unsure
