When I get my printer set up this is one of the first blasters I'm going to make. I think I'll try my hand at remixing the shells to be long enough to completely cover the foam of a mega xl dart. Or perhaps I'll make it longer to put 9 half darts in a 3x elite shell. I'm looking forward to seeing what else the community does with this design.

Phil and I grew up around there, this instantly gets me nostalgic. I like how the vid covers beginning, missions, some zombie combat, puzzles, etc. I used to think hvz was just running and g)innings, it's so much more

I see the different facets in the hobby starting to clearly separate and flourish; larp, hvz, performance pvp, and family events. I see the performance side getting into the cutting edge of pushing through limits, though I hope they shy away from real steel look-alike silhouettes, working in the ER for years still gives me nightmares of the kids shot for having toys that looked too real. Thank you for your thoughts and review, we're about the same size so your ergo considerations are very relevant to me.

I really did like playing around with Andrews. Just like yours it had the wrong instructions so it was a little bit more difficult to set up than normal. However, it's definitely worth the money for a almost all metal springer. Yes the sites can be a bit weird but if you get the right red dot you can put it on that pic closer to the rear. Also since they're are some cheaper ones that were misprinted or something you can get it discounted on out of darts if they still have any left. Greet blaster!

One thing that was found was that springs sized for the original unicorn will still fit in the tactical one, so you can still use those to downgrade :)

Tactical unicorn feels like a shameless cash grab from xyl. It comes with less stuff than the standard unicorn for more money. And it doesn't hit 250 out of the box? Worst blaster of the year for me.

I like the Crush, and thought about building one. But I just built a SLAB and I fell in love. There are a few things about the SLAB I will change on the next build, and I can because SILLYBUTTS was kind enough to release the .STEP files. But the SLAB is a pretty well thought out blaster. Also, not gonna lie... I've alwasy been a lever gun fan.

Crush v1.10 (now available on the printables page) has been released to address the plunger tube vent appearance, as well as a talon-specific mag release for better compatibility

Adjusting a mag during play might be a deal breaker for me, but I'm sure it's performance and practice with it might make up for that.

Designer here- fantastic review! Love each category and in depth consideration. I did want to throw out that Chance, being awesome, has lowers available for Lynx grips, original grips, and angled and straight magwells for both blasters. Check out the printables remixes, all those considering a build- you can even make a Diana mag version from Lyza!!

Thanks for the Review! Glad I could provide these blasters. The magwell is the tighter variant, it has a much looser version available, this has an older mag stop, this has been patched since I printed these out. If im not mistaken you would just have to mirror the mag catches to make it left/right hand compatible. Colors: Shamrock Sparkle, Marble, perfect orange, gun metal grey, starry night.
