The books are not canon only the games the games are canon so it’s a different alternate timeline so yeah
Oh yeah, I seen her video before, I remember at the beginning of her video she pretty much says the whole, William being a good or misunderstood father theory is something that is easily debunked, and also having an AU where he is is perfectly fine, but she’ll still trash talk Afton. (And rightfully so). You and her have basic common sense. 👍🏼

Personally I’m fine with concepts like William being a decent human being who either was forced to kill or got possessed so long as it’s an AU and the creator acknowledges it’s an AU and not canon to anything but the AU the creator has to himself and the fans of the series. If he claims it’s canon that’s where the problem arises.

William is a Villain, a psychopath who cares for no one except himself. Thats why he’s my favorite fnaf character.

He can be like that in the novels and movie, but the games have always had way too much nuance for me to accept Afton only did what he did "because he's evil."

I watched this yesterday and MMM…🎉 BUT I GOT A SUGGESTION! the missing kids and Micheal and the other that usually react NEED TO REACT TO SLEEP WELL! the kids in poppy playtime have it bad as well THEY GOTTA! but I love this channel they keep it real KEEP IT UP!!!😊
Brief 🤓 moment, but the Funtimes were most likely intended to be autonomous capture devices to kidnap test subjects for William's various experiments based on current information, and Elizabeth dying was most likely an industrial accident caused by William being a neglectful and abusive father.
So, still an awful person, but we don't quite believe that his daughter's death was premeditated. More the inevitable result of the circumstances being what they are.

One more time, i would very much like for them (specifically the missing children + micheal and mr. Emily, maybe some of the other night guards?) to react to songs that showcase just how we see them...not as the children (you already did that wonderfully) but them as horror mascots. As Killer Animatronics. Specifically songs like We are Aware, Ultimate Fright, Bad rabbit (the one with bonnie, not springtrap) Bonnie's Mixtape could be very interesting (especially since you did Freddy's song, ones focusing on the other children at first would be cool) and my personal favorite for them to see would definitely be Bonnie's song by groundbreaking, the video where he tore off toy Bonnie's face and arm to fix himself at the end. The reactions would be glorious! Much love for the effort you put in btw!

I have a short video suggestion involving Elizabeth and that demon. The It's Not An Act It's Who I Need To Be Scene from Hazbin Hotel.
He is also an actual abusive parent mentally and physically I am not being weird here it's just how Scott keeps writhing William. But let's not forget about how he you is trying to steal the souls of children for only his personal gain and don't say he doing it to save his daughter baby was made with the intention of taking remontant from the begging and William knowing about remanent existing left his daughter rot in sister location for years. He is also a sadist. So we end up with a self serving sadist aubisive child killer and this is the character that people think is a good person. Also I know I am late.
But that was all AFTER he went off the deep end.
We have no idea if William was always like this- and frankly, the fact this creator makes a AU and then thinks he has the right to dunk on other AUs is just sad.

Everything William did that was evil happened AFTER Evan died, which makes me think he killed Charlie in some twisted sense of revenge, the learned about Remnant, and tried to collect more of it to put his son back together. The more he killed, the more insane he became, until he forgot all about Evan.
That is infinitely more interesting than William just being "lol, I'm evil."

Eh, there is a middle ground to be seen here where some developers have gone on record to state that William isn't just pure evil like one side of the community might think but that doesn't mean he's an angel and has done no wrong. William is an interesting antagonist in the FNAF series since he's born from tragedy, countless tragedies. He lost his son, his business, his carnival apparently, maybe even his wife; every part of what he thought was a happy life became a nightmare within the course of one year; 1983. His turn to murder was his snapping point after losing all of these things and turning to your mom's grape juice as a way to escape, but he went even further after discovering remnant and finding a way to bring his son back to life.
William also has to be the most tortured person in all of FNAF since he died from Spring lock failure which basically crushed his entire body with him not being able to do anything, going even more insane by being trapped behind a wall for 30 years with no access to fresh air, burned in a fire, rebuilt himself only to be set ablaze again, and then be tortured for the rest of eternity by the vengeful spirit of a kid he murdered.
In no way am I saying that William is a good man in any way, but behind the animatronics, murder, and yellow rabbits is a father, a husband, a friend, and a family man who wanted the best for his and other children at one point in his life. He is human afterall, and he demonstrates that tragedy can happen at anytime and that all people can be broken down to their lowest. You may think your better than him and could easily not fall victim to such pain and heartbreak, but that means you just haven't experienced it yet. We are humans, and at the end of the day, that's what makes William so scary; anyone, given the right circumstances, could become the man behind the slaughter.
P.S.( Where did the trope that William was a terrible father to Elizabeth come from? Like honestly, I can't think of one point from within the games that demonstrates William being a terrible parent. I could only guess it's from the dialogue that Elizabeth speaks in Sister Location about William not letting her see Circus Baby, but that was because he was trying to protect her from the robot itself, not being a bad parent.)
Well for the true there are some evidence even in the games that William was a bad father and he didnt care(but that happened just after he become really appassionate about robotics and started his obsession with Henry before that i think he was pretty normal) but if i got to deep this would create another big drama so i will avoid it but to put on an example he left Elizabeth in the basement to take control shocks and the fact that he could have protected Elizabeth if he really wanted to😅(because of the emergency stop on circus babe,the other functions that he could have put on like something to avoid Elizabeth death after all he even put a parent detector or a certain detector on funtime freddy or he could have just let her seen once but tougheter with her after all Circus is programmed to kill just if a kid is alone in the room)but i answered to you for a certain fact that i wanted to point out i listened to that live with the developers but they didnt point it out like that😅🤔 they just said that a good villain should have a reason but that didnt mean for them that must be a good one(like he killed initially for jealousy through Henry and then for immortality) after all they talked about how someone bad did something really bad and created a certain situation that created that horror and that creature bite the one that started that back i controlled every other lives like that but thats the only one that talked about that certain argument🤔if i took the wrong live if you could tell me which one is it thank you😅🙏and the live that i talked about is the one with gamejolt.

Creator you should make a video with Elizabeth and her demon where the demon says that Elizabeth doesn't need to make William proud, and she doesn't need to be perfect for him. And the demon also ask Elizabeth, Why. Why is she so obsessed with making William proud, why can't she be happy with just her mom and her brothers. And then have the demon say that her family and the missing children understand her.
Why would a demon do that?
It's EVIL- it would probably try to motivate her to follow in her father's footsteps.

Honestly William is the most Loved and top best favorite animatronic and best Villain in the Whole entire FNAF community,heck,Many people enjoy William Afton especially when Making so much Fandom,Videos about him, Theories and Lores made about him and epic SFM videos selling FNAF toys even super cool Arts about William, honestly almost the entire community loves William Afton including Different Designs and Appearances for him but one thing is the FNAF movie itself doesn't look good for me in General,it shows William isn't there and Michael isn't a Detective and is a Night Guard, Abby is supposed to be Elizabeth sure but doesn't really fit well as Elizabeth's role and as for Vanessa she's clearly not part of the Aftons and mostly just William's follower/Assistant and Garrett is supposed to be Evan or Crying Child but doesn't fit either way,not of them match the entire Lore of the Game, Cassidy is female and not make especially in Game, I've watched it and after William Afton's death he still moved,this William died in the Springlock suit and not just put the mask but actually put the suit on first before the mask,less of what the movie lacks is the In game FNAF details and 30 years of William stuck in the safe room, William's evil laughing before death,and the "I Always Come Back" voice line in my opinion the movie sucked in my opinion,the entire movie wasn't thrilling to me, nothing in the movie matched what the canon FNAF has and they got the names wrong too

3)there is a story called What we have found that is a pararel to fnaf 3 where the supposed William was described as a bad father(it used more bad terms but it is essentially that) by the supposed Michael of the story

There's no tweaking Cannon it's just people making their own AUs and this dude is doing it the right way and make it more accurate also technically William was responsible for making a mimic if he did it himself or not especially if the story of how mimic was made is fully in the game cannon cuz everything and I mean indirectly or directly happened or was caused by William whatever he did it intentionally or not and that's a fact
