I don't even know where to start; This is a masterpiece BY definition everything from the production quality to music, the voice acting, the designs and the overall story is truly something I haven't seen before. I'm not over exaggerating when I say this is the best things I've seen come out of the community. I genuinely didn't think I would be watching this twice or even more in the future but here we are lmao. I could go on hours on hours about how much I love every second of it. You have done a splendid job and to see the series grow as a fully-fledged 2 hour movie is something truly amazing and I will not get over that, this was definitely worth the two years of wait. The fact this is a 2-hour movie and feels like a movie is great but can we all appreciate that this was built off of light-hearted memes and a franchise that has a huge fan base, like wow they got this far

@@therustysfm4550 Source benefits from having ready access to a metric buttload of community-created mods and assets, including fixes and the like. Though it may be massively outdated (trust me, I long for an update where it at least makes the TF2 part up to date with the actual game), the availability of all of these assets and community content are what make it so accessible and appealing. Plus, it has spline curves. I never figured out if Blender has that, and it makes animating with Source so much for convenient.

Two years ago… on this very day, we witnessed the hottest dogs biggest magnum opus upon us. Hell, to be honest, Id actually watch this in theaters, that’s how good this is. Still weird to think it was so long since that time, every now and then I would occasionally check up on this, the specials, and the original Special Strike movie just for some kick of nostalgia. And I’m still absolutely impressed that this is 2 hours and a half from SFM of all things! Happy 2nd Anniversary to Special Strike: Rebellion!
This is the best fricking thing, that has ever came out in this summer. This movie can be compared to Shrek Forever After, or Godzilla Final Wars. Even if some of the characters are a bit forgettable, and the atmosphere isn't impressive, the movie is never boring. And you'll know that some crazy shenanigan happens with these heroes/villains. This is one of the best SFM movies I've ever seen. 8-9/10

I AM SPEECHLESS, feeling like I'm about to cry after seeing all of that, but this should be noticed and have attention! This is considered as a movie, a perfect sequel for Special Strike. I am so glad I watched this during 2AM, and many references seen makes me be hyped more than I should be, such as FNaTI, Battington, Walten Files, I hope they can have a bigger role in this series! All of the people who worked on this are talented, even popular FNaF figures helped on this. The story on this is incredible, it makes sense from the beginning. Many plot twists into the story makes me shocked and suprised. I can obviously give this 10/10, or higher than 10 as well, and would recommend this to my friends. If the specials did not exist, this wouldn't even happen at all. Thank you TheHottest Dog.
Ok a year ago I was cringe but now all I have to say is this is the best 2 hour animation I have ever seen in my life, crossovers, references, old characters, mystery, and twists
I think my favorite character is Candy. From a guy that just wanted to have a restaurant thinking his friends as employees except for Cindy, to having care for others and even sacrificing himself for someone he doesn’t even know. Candy might have had the most change. The thumbnail seems like he doesn’t care about anything and just wants his restaurant working to actually being one of the main heroes who helped the multiverse.
Man, Friday was stressful for alot of people, especially HottestDog, but i’m so happy that we were able to pull through and make things work, Sunday finna be epic.
Okay this is my first impression of SSR after seeing the whole thing, not a review, a first impression. I just want you to know that I may get negative here with story beats, but I loved this thing and it's admirable, the effort with the animation, voice acting and humour is on point, I just have certain storyline issues I'd like to address, oki. Oki. (SPOILER TALK INCOMING) Firstly, well done, seriously man, well done. A project unlike any other in the community, and something we're never likely to see again, I'm surprised you were able to stick with it for so long. Secondly, I loved it... Up to a point. I was genuinely in awe at the screen for quite a few moments, enraptured by all the references, jokes and big moments... However. It's too packed. I know this can't exactly be helped because from what I remember you said this wasn't originally supposed to be the end and you had to throw in everything to make it work. But by the end there's too much going on. And maybe I'm just thick, (ha, maybe, more like, I'm definitely thick) but I don't get what role you played in your own story. Why did you bring everyone back just to reset them again, why didn't Chief reset, why did you kill Chica just to bring her back and most importantly what does the ending really mean because they're all in this perfect world, but Chica didn't want that. Idk maybe they'll be something down the line to iron out the kinks but for now I'm just stumped. I also can't help but noticing Glitchtrap's motives were, unclear. I assume he may have been working for you but then went, "f it I'm doing my own thing" but, what thing? Turn into a giant mantis thing for a little while reaking unclear havoc on the world? I guess? I'd also like to know why Glitchtrap seemed to be the good guy in UCN 4 and who he was talking to all that time if he was the leader of the pack so to speak. Annnddddd here's the rub, too many villains. While I will admit it made the story interesting since the threat keeps changing from QXR to Glitchtrap to the Chief etc, overall it makes it more bloated and their characters don't get fleshed out. Like the rabbit followers are a nothing presence in the story, I think you even made a joke about it so why include them in the first place? If that grey and red rabbit does make a comeback one day or links into the post credit scene then I'll give him a pass, but the others do nothing. So yeah, too many bad guys to the point where I got to the Glitched Mantis bit and was just sort of numb to these big monster reveals, only to have TheHottest Dog come in and claim himself to be the most OP character in the whole thing who will control everything from here on out, it's a nice meta plot line running through all of the specials, but like, what am I meant to be feeling here? Because I didn't feel much. Until the end where everything was nice and seeing all the people who helped make this possible was beautiful, I did shed some tears and I'll happily admit it. Speaking of TheHottest Dog becoming Canon, (fucking called it bitches!) I've kinda known that's where we were heading ever since the first Special Strike, and I was kinda worried because it had the potential to break the universe and make it so that nothing totally matters because everything is determined by this all powerful figure. Well I was right to think that because Chica tries to deny everything with her free will, but things get reset anyway. I don't blame you for the reset since by this point it was just big villain here, monster there, oh and the Chief came back twice out of nowhere and was not nearly as menacing the second time and so did Mecha Shadow and by this point reset button is really the only way to solve it. It's kinda sad because I almost thought for a moment that you were going to stick to your guns on the whole, "just about everyone is dead" thing, foolish really this is clearly Marvel inspired not Game of Thrones. And one last thing, the point where I thought things started to fall apart was with one guest animators part. Look I'm sorry, but I'll say it. WaldstonSFM IS NOT FUNNY!!! His animations are just feaver dreams. Ik he was present in SS, but firstly his part was way shorter and secondly it actually was kinda funny with some of the movements. Ik humour is very subjective but even if you find that funny, surely you can't be okay with how long that shit lasted, I thought the big baby space battle was maybe a tad too long, little did I know we were only about halfway through. Wanna know how to do it right? Listen to Derpy_horse4, short, sweet, not entirely funny but it wasn't really trying to be and seeing Death_horse interact with the "main" villain in SSR was the highlight really, a fun wink and nod to End of the Memeverse. Personally I would've just replaced Waldston with a new meme, a full remake of Northy 2 because that shit is actually really funny, get E.Breddy to animate something short because he's like the only one out of the four of you who didn't animate anything for this and his part in SS was a highlight or just simply cut it out all together. Other than that references were all pretty sick. That's all I have to say, I do feel bad for going really negative like that because what with this and every other animation you've made since SS small or massive I know how much went into this, the work that you've done and believe me, it shows, it's just the writing that can in some places let it all down. The biggest take away really should be not to keep filling the movie with new ideas, villains and plot points, either save it for a sequel, or if you really do want SSR to be the last one, do some major cutting, some hard cuts yes but I'd argue nessasery ones. Thank you for everything you've done, it's been real :)
Ok. I lost it at the characters who didn’t have voice acting in the beginning GET voice actors. That caught me off guard. I loved the story, the twists and turns, the humor. All of it. And I hate to single out my favorite bits because, honestly I loved all of it. But, I had a fangirl panic attack when I saw Bon and Henry from the Walten files and battington tapes. Seeing some characters who were never in the spotlight before have some time to shine was amazing. Having Obese and shadow man in the actual fight was refreshing. All of it was just the BEES’ JAZZY KNEES. I love you and your content hotdogman(not in a weird way.) keep doing what you’re doing, it makes everyone super happy

This might be the best movie i ever seen in SFM The animations was extraudinary.The models were complex. Even Dawko did his own part witch i'm suprised. The voice actors were a sort of change to the robot voices thing, but thta changes nothing.Also Waldston's part was a drug dream. From my understanding, The Observer wanted things to go back to just being funny haha memes and shit posts like in the older videos from 2017, and started to become very upset knowing that no one wanted to play along and do that anymore, he wouldn't accept it, and tried so many times to convince anyone of them to press the button to completely reset everything, as in everyone being completely gone and starting over. Even all those AR skins, Glamrocks, and others were all being forced against their will to be just meme characters as they were being hooked up to hypnotic machines like puppets. However, Chica's strong will to fight back against what The Observer has been forcing upon them, had finally convinced The Observer to accept those changes and has allowed them all to continue living their lives again with their new changes.
This was like the best thing that can come out of SFM. This is some thing trully *special* and wonderful. Every character have their own characteristic that can easily got attracted to. The story is trully amazing and the mysterious feeling of the character is perfect. And the character design man, it's the best. (SPOILERS) Mantis Glitchtrap is hella amazing and im sure no one expected that. And i personally love the endo Glitchtrap. And also the machine guy (i assume it's TheHottestDog himself) is so damn cool. And you very clever at choosing maps as well, ut really fit in. And when the portal open and all the characters a back, that really give me goosebumps. Especially Obese and Shadow Man. Thank you TheHottestDog. This is very special. I will be watching this for a bunch of times. What a journey.

God, its been three years since SSR was first posted and premiered... I remember watching it the day it premiered whilst getting ready for a camping trip very very clearly. Ive been hooked on watching SSR over and over again since then, and ive even watched some SSR plot/build up videos as well. SSR is still a great FNAF SFM masterpiece and still deserves the hype up to today. Exellent work, Hottestdog!

I really like it and props to the voice actors. I will however admit that the segment with The Hottest God is a little convoluted with Chica's motive being listened to but also not really coming true. Also Glitchtrap's minions needed more to do and the Waldstone bit was too long. Aside from that, solid animation, great aforementioned voice acting and a really good story. Can't wait too see what your future progjects have to offer.
Bro, this is one of my favourite RUclips videos ever and I’m just so speechless. Like, whoever thought that I would watch this twice yet here I am doing exactly that. I watched this last year and I don’t know why but this time I had WAY more hype and entertainment this time also it took me forever to figure out that “The End” was actually a robot hotdog 🌭 and the voices were just… AMAZING like who would expect such a good RUclips video and this was soooooo worth the wait. WARNING: THIS IS LONG AS FUCK, IT'S ACTUALLY SO LONG Well here I am late to the party. I just wanted to wait a while for the hype to die down and for my complete obsession with this to calm down so I can properly assess this. With that being said this still hasn't left my mind even five-six months later. What can I say, it's a masterpiece. However, I would call it a masterpiece that is rough around the edges, but still a masterpiece nonetheless. First, I would like to go over the flaws first so that I can later gush about the good stuff. I think the greatest flaw here is probably Glitchtrap. Overall he was a great villain which was well built up with great payout. However, for the character that is the actual cause of this whole plotline, there is a puzzle piece missing: reason. We are never told what his reason is, nor is it ever shown. While The_End's motives are subtle enough to figure out, Glitchtrap's lack of explained motives are what hold him back from being an amazing villain.Secondly, while all characters definitely feel like they're there for a purpose, whether they were actually utilised is a different story. Some characters just were introduced and then died (E.g. Blank and Fredbear) and Withered Bonnie was completely forgotten about, Cindy and Vinnie had an occasional quip but otherwise did nothing, as much as I love them. While many characters were very well developed (E.g. Springtrap, The Chief, General, QXR, Foxy, Candy and Chica), and Penguin and Chester both got the perfect amount of screentime (Rat and Cat had enough screentime, but I love them too much to not want more), but some were definitely underutilised. All the characters were very charming, but I feel like there were signs of arcs that could happen, but then just didn't, especially Security Puppet, Ennard and the Shadow Triplets. Ennard definitely had something there, especially revolving around Springtrap, though that may just be someone infiltrating my brain and pressing the big red "THAT'S GAY" button. But there definitely is some feelings to explain about Ennard's experiences since the Valentines Day Special, or sny reaction to Springtrap's co-operation with Chief, considering they are best friends. When it comes to the Shadow Triplets, they just needed one or two more scenes to really anchor their newfound connection to the protagonists. Especially 2, who was standing alongside the squad rather than with QXR during the confrontation, and when he was most like the leader of the three, it would have been so interesting to see that change (as you can see, 2 is my favourite shadow droid, alongside Shadowman). And of course, Security Puppet, who no doubt could've had an arc here. During her chat with Vinnie it was most visible, but it was just mentioned once and forgotten about, kind of like her entire character after the first half of the movie. Finally, the problem that probably bugs me most is the final few scenes of the movie, mostly the return of all the characters and the epilogue. The problem with these is that the characters never react to each other's return. Like when they return, Freddy or Bonnie both don't react to seeing Foxy again, and they don't even react to seeing Chica again who had been missing for ages and has now returned, and neither of them interact with her once outside of one line of dialogue. Springtrap never reacts to Ennard's return after he sacrificed his life for him (I swear to god give Ennard his happy ending he deserves it he's been tortured since the Valentines Day Special), and Security Puppet never gets to react to Vinnie being alive. Speaking of her, Security Puppet and Puppet (who barely gets half a minute of screentime) never reunite, which is a shame considering that foreshadowing during her conversation with Vinnie, and even in the epilogue the two never interact throughout the entire movie which actually irritates me. Now, we finally get out the good stuff. First of all, we should all collectively appreciate the work that went into this, especially when it's mainly solo done, and to this extent of quality is just so amazing, so we should all thank TheHottest Dog for his valiant effort. Alongside this, definitely many of the faults of SSR can be blamed o the effort of this and the cancelled SS3 which, though it may have helped to flesh out the characters, I can fully understand why it was cancelled. The blood, sweat and tears that went into making SS and SSR could are already so much and we should just appreciate that these were made at all. First of all, the animation is fantastic and the pacing is well near perfect, and I really appreciate the lack of tonal issue (except for Waldston SFM's segment, but that just doesn't personally appeal to my sense of humour) and, while most of it isn't original, the music was very well picked and fit the scenes so well and so perfectly in time it's shocking. Both QXR and Chief are amazing villains, QXR is a great recurring threat, and it's really interesting to see his impact on the Chief, who has become almost tragic in his corruption, and though it's brief, the way it is shown between him and Freddy is so powerful. Adding Springtrap into the equation was so clever, not only explaining his whereabouts during all this time, but also adding a new layer to his character. I love the hierarchy of villainy presented here, Chief actually being manipulated by QXR and Glitchtrap, who is controlled by The_End. The contrast between the Chief & Glitchtrap and Freddy & Springtrap is also brief but incredibly effective, as is the contrast between the Chief and Chica, both discovered their orgins, but Chica is fine with change and is at peace with who she and her friends are, while the Chief would go to any lengths to change it. Overall the Chief story is executed so well and the underlying tragedy of his story his hard. It’s been talked about to death but the General is such a good character. His change was subtly foreshadowed during Special Strike, him being the only one to question Chief's motives and his bickering with RXQ, all coming to a point when he betrays QXR, and it's all believable, I also like how he doesn’t fully change after the betrayal, he's still a bit of an asshole but ultimately sticks with the team. Foxy is the biggest callback to SS, him having to come to terms with his grief, blaming himself for his friends' deaths, like Springtrap, making it all the more satisfying when the two talk and explain their hardships and agree to work through them. Chica is adorably likeable but has this admirable loyalty and resilience (something I always appreciate in a character) and her conversations with The_End are incredibly compelling. Candy, my favourite main character, has probably the most believable arc of all characters, going from a inconsiderate boss who has no cares for the friends he treats like employees, but eventually becomes more caring and selfless until he actually sacrfices his life for someone (mainly due to his newfound connection to Security Puppet and his longer relationship with Cindy -are they related?-). Security Puppet is shy darling who cares wholeheartedly about her friends and is reluctant to fix what's broken, but she is always ready to compromise to keep her friends safe, making her my all around favourite character. Going into this blind, avoiding all trailers and previews, I was expecting no humour at all, so the first time it appeared it caught me so off guard. The humour is extremely well timed it makes every joke funny and it never gets old. The contrast between Cindy and Blank causes a few giggles, the portal jumping and battles were hilarious, the Shadow Triplets really do behave like triplets and it's hilarious, and of course, Rat and Cat were the biggest source of humour to me, their dynamic and exchanges are priceless, especially when they actually work off of each other when capturing Glitchtrap and fucking with QXR. We also can't forget about Obese 'Middle Name' F***** and Shadowman. Need I say anything more. However, my greatest respect towards this project has to be it's ambition. This movie is so mature that we all forgot that around half of TheHottest Dog's fanbase are children, so to be willing to challenge them with something like this is really something to admire. So while it doesn't lack flaws, Special Strike Rebellion is still a masterpiece and I can't wait for the 2022 project, which could fix the flaws I mentioned. In the end this is all my opinion, but I pledge my undying respect and thanks to TheHottest God, thank you so much and I am so sorry this was so long. Edit: So I finally found the motivation to fix a couple spelling mistakes, I know I didn't talk about The_End much, but I'd prefer to do that during the 2022 project, have a lovely day.

Also, I know everyone is saying he won’t continue the series (obviously because he’s got college and dang, these things take a LONG), but if he didn’t want to continue the story in actual movies, maybe he could make a Special Strike Show? IDK, it was an idea. Please don’t pressure it upon him though, he deserves the break. And Hottest Dog, I’d you’re reading this: it’s just a suggestion and I love what you did in this movie! A true spectacle. Can’t wait to see what you do down the road and hopefully you continue your wonderful work!
He really doesn't need to make movies, 5-10 minute episodes will definitely suffice. Also, considering how this is a full length movie made by one guy and just a few others in 2 years, I'd say it was pretty quick.

i.... have no words.... This was one of the BEST things to happen after the chaos of 2020, i think it got out a new side of us that most of us thought we did not have. This was one of many masterpieces that will come in the future and will make even more people happy as well, and even tho scott retired, FNAF will still be in our heart while others are making and loving FNAF. I love everything about this, and more yet to come and i could also see why it took a long time for it to come out. So to you, TheHottestDog, the others who helped make this, and the others watching this who are planning more FNAF stuff in the future..... Just make sure to remember others that FNAF is the beat game to appear for us and will still be. And.... Thank you Scott... for everything.
Man do I have a lot to say about this 1: MAN THIS TOOK ALONG TIME BUT FINALLY ITS HERE 2: I really love this shadow springbonnie guy more intimidating then the first villain golden freddy. 3:this has encouraged me to make a fnaf story one day I got my characters to!, World Conqueror ( the leader of the army and responsible for the entire thing ), Glich Grim ( the general of the army) *?????* (he’s kinda like a scout he goes out mostly at nighttime to try to get survivors and make the prisoners), Ghost Grim ( he haunts the survivors, makes them hallucinate, and mind control them) and the soldiers? There the Dark Troopers from the Mandalorian. OK HOL’ UP WHAT THE HOT DOG DOIN. ok ima be honest this is actually one of if not the greatest pieces of fnaf media. I’ve been watching this channel ever since 2017 back when the thanksgiving special came out. Back then I was baby brain and I thought that this channel was just gonna be a funny fnaf animation channel and nothing else, BOY WAS I WRONG. This is such a good video/movie and I’m so glad I could watch all of this unfold. The twist with glitch trap being the one who started it all was so well executed that I died. While this is not a perfect movie, some things such as the animation, lighting and ideas could have been improved upon, this massive project truly shows what the FNaF community is capable of. This is just as absolutely amazing as the Knife Party Mega Mashup collab. It's a well put combination of both ridiculous memes and a compelling storyline that somehow does not involve children souls at all. This is the first time we have ever seen an original FNaF storyline in the form a of a movie, well, the second time since Special Strike is also a movie. I cannot be more grateful to everyone who dedicated a lot of their time, skills, and energy to this crazy adventure. I never thought that SSR would finally be complete, yet here we are. Thank you so much for bringing this movie to life. You deserve all the recognition and attention for everything that you've done.

OH MY GOD. i have SO SO much to say but in short, i was so hooked. this was absolutely awesome. every single moment i was blown away by the effort put into it, the way the story was written out, the voice acting, the music (good LORD i loved the music), all of it made me so so happy. im really proud of you and all of the 2 years worth of work you put into this. i mean holy crap, 2 1/2 hours?! you're insane. im so happy i could be a part of this and you deserve every ounce of praise you get from this. i wish you all the luck on whatever you do in the future (aka college) and thank you so much for holding onto this so we could all see it!!
Even after basically 5 months and seeing that the next fnaf game will be in December, I just want to say that this is THE best thing to come out of this community, 2 hours of glorious animation that has been worked on by all these gifted creators. If this was released in theaters it would make just as much as Endgame. It's that perfect of an anima- actually...movie of SFM.
Honestly, the only loose end I want tied up is the Chief. I would actually like to see the Chief get redemption for real this time and come back to the family. Or at least have the crew figure out that the Chief is corrupted and try to save him. And if there is more Special Lore to come, you should probably break it down into smaller episodes instead of another big movie like this, because I don’t think everyone can handle another two years of waiting again. Anyways, this was amazing and I can’t wait to see more with the new models!
If you listened to what the Observer said to Chica. He said that the Chief isn't going to change and that he was made to never change. So as sad as it sounds, there's no redemption for him and he'll stay evil.

It has been the most cringiest, mentally incapacitating, and funniest journey I’ve ever gone thru (well besides life of course) and I cannot be more grateful for that.
Even though there are a small amount of criticisms that I can draw, this is nothing short of you people outdoing yourselves. SSR exceeded my expectations and more, with better, less outdateable comedy, a very deep, complex, and serious storyline, and a lot of references that feel fitting and not completely random and without reason (something that was one of the original's major flaws). This is also the most beautiful-looking SFM animation I've ever seen, by far, and that's up against some stiff competition. Good on you, hotdog man. Fantastic work.
This is gonna probably be rather wholesome, and maybe ignored, but I just want to put this out there. So. I missed much. I didn’t join in the fanbase until December of 2020, so I do not have many memories. I have missed the growth of many channels, and of the fanbase itself. I was young, and didn’t like scary things, but I had obviously grown. I am shaken, by Scott’s announcement, even though, well, I said earlier. But I want to say, even if I missed the development to SS, I found this gem of a channel, and have been waiting for SSR. Even though it was in development for about a year, maybe, when I found this channel. Now, I have seen many things, funny, cursed, hilarious, and serious things, but what really mattered, was the creator. Scott, animation channels, all of that. Who knows where all of us would be, if Scott never made Five Nights at Freddy’s? Because of Scott, of the memories he had made for all of you, we all can make whatever we desire, story’s based off of FNaF, or just AUs (alternate universes) of FNaF. I’m not religious, but I will say, he kinda gave us a sense of what a working, peaceful fanbase can be. Yes, we were, or some people were, toxic to Scott, due to his beliefs, but I honestly don’t care. All I care, is of him able to support the many games that were inspired by FNaF. And the fact he gave ideas to so many people to animate, too! I think, that’s it, and yes, it’s long, since I don’t comment often. I just wanted to put this out there. Most of all, thank you. Thank you for making animations I adore and love. That goes for many other channels too. Not just you. All of the animators I watch, had inspired me to think about animating later on. Oh, wait, that wasn’t all. But, I promise I’m done now. And uh, if this somehow blows up, I’ll be genuinely surprised. (Also, if there is any grammatical errors, it’s because I typed it all out at once, but I won’t be making edits unless necessary).
Honestly, this is unbelievable. For making a whole movie of two hours and thirty minutes, you have all my respect. I can't wait to see what more you have in store. Everyone did a fantastic job, frankly, hats off
This is a masterpiece. This man did this whole project with only a few people and made something that makes big companies quiver in fear. The timing and characters are so well written, and the little bits of comedy don't feel forced. This is something the RUclips platform should remember for the time to come. The animation is so good! Even real companies fail to reach this level of fluidity and detail ALSO they have hired voice actors and you did it better! Companies that have whole teams and a budget are so bad and horribly written. But a few person made all of this in the time span of TWO YEARS like that's insane! And the personality's to these character are 3D and remain solid throughout the entire movie, which is such a hard tasks when you also try to add character development to the plot as well! Even big big companies like Hollywood, Pixar, and Disney have trouble with stuff like this. But the brain of a few people made this. I could go on all day about how crazy and truly impressive this is. But I'll spare you my Rambling. You did such an amazing job dude, be proud because this isn't easy and yet you did it anyways. The fight scenes could've been better, none of the punches or Godzilla's Atomic Breath felt like they have any weight. Other than that, best ending ever.

I don't even know where to start; This is a masterpiece BY definition everything from the production quality to music, the voice acting, the designs and the overall story is truly something I haven't seen before. I'm not over exaggerating when I say this is the best things I've seen come out of the community. @@therustysfm4550 Source benefits from having ready access to a metric buttload of community-created mods and assets, including fixes and the like. Though it may be massively outdated (trust me, I long for an update where it at least makes the TF2 part up to date with the actual game), the availability of all of these assets and community content are what make it so accessible and appealing.
Plus, it has spline curves. I never figured out if Blender has that, and it makes animating with Source so much for convenient.

I literally set up a theater using cinema_nexmultiplex3 in Garry's Mod just to watch it.
Two years ago… on this very day, we witnessed the hottest dogs biggest magnum opus upon us. Hell, to be honest, Id actually watch this in theaters, that’s how good this is.
Still weird to think it was so long since that time, every now and then I would occasionally check up on this, the specials, and the original Special Strike movie just for some kick of nostalgia. And I’m still absolutely impressed that this is 2 hours and a half from SFM of all things!

This is the best fricking thing, that has ever came out in this summer.
This movie can be compared to Shrek Forever After, or Godzilla Final Wars. Even if some of the characters are a bit forgettable, and the atmosphere isn't impressive, the movie is never boring. And you'll know that some crazy shenanigan happens with these heroes/villains. This is one of the best SFM movies I've ever seen.

I AM SPEECHLESS, feeling like I'm about to cry after seeing all of that, but this should be noticed and have attention! This is considered as a movie, a perfect sequel for Special Strike. I am so glad I watched this during 2AM, and many references seen makes me be hyped more than I should be, such as FNaTI, Battington, Walten Files, I hope they can have a bigger role in this series! All of the people who worked on this are talented, even popular FNaF figures helped on this. The story on this is incredible, it makes sense from the beginning. Many plot twists into the story makes me shocked and suprised. I can obviously give this 10/10, or higher than 10 as well, and would recommend this to my friends. If the specials did not exist, this wouldn't even happen at all. Thank you TheHottest Dog.

Man, Friday was stressful for alot of people, especially HottestDog, but i’m so happy that we were able to pull through and make things work, Sunday finna be epic.
Okay this is my first impression of SSR after seeing the whole thing, not a review, a first impression. I just want you to know that I may get negative here with story beats, but I loved this thing and it's admirable, the effort with the animation, voice acting and humour is on point, I just have certain storyline issues I'd like to address, oki. Oki.

Firstly, well done, seriously man, well done. A project unlike any other in the community, and something we're never likely to see again, I'm surprised you were able to stick with it for so long.
Secondly, I loved it... Up to a point. I was genuinely in awe at the screen for quite a few moments, enraptured by all the references, jokes and big moments... However. It's too packed. I know this can't exactly be helped because from what I remember you said this wasn't originally supposed to be the end and you had to throw in everything to make it work. But by the end there's too much going on. And maybe I'm just thick, (ha, maybe, more like, I'm definitely thick) but I don't get what role you played in your own story. Why did you bring everyone back just to reset them again, why didn't Chief reset, why did you kill Chica just to bring her back and most importantly what does the ending really mean because they're all in this perfect world, but Chica didn't want that. Idk maybe they'll be something down the line to iron out the kinks but for now I'm just stumped.
I also can't help but noticing Glitchtrap's motives were, unclear. I assume he may have been working for you but then went, "f it I'm doing my own thing" but, what thing? Turn into a giant mantis thing for a little while reaking unclear havoc on the world? I guess? I'd also like to know why Glitchtrap seemed to be the good guy in UCN 4 and who he was talking to all that time if he was the leader of the pack so to speak. Annnddddd here's the rub, too many villains. While I will admit it made the story interesting since the threat keeps changing from QXR to Glitchtrap to the Chief etc, overall it makes it more bloated and their characters don't get fleshed out. Like the rabbit followers are a nothing presence in the story, I think you even made a joke about it so why include them in the first place? If that grey and red rabbit does make a comeback one day or links into the post credit scene then I'll give him a pass, but the others do nothing. So yeah, too many bad guys to the point where I got to the Glitched Mantis bit and was just sort of numb to these big monster reveals, only to have TheHottest Dog come in and claim himself to be the most OP character in the whole thing who will control everything from here on out, it's a nice meta plot line running through all of the specials, but like, what am I meant to be feeling here? Because I didn't feel much. Until the end where everything was nice and seeing all the people who helped make this possible was beautiful, I did shed some tears and I'll happily admit it.
Speaking of TheHottest Dog becoming Canon, (fucking called it bitches!) I've kinda known that's where we were heading ever since the first Special Strike, and I was kinda worried because it had the potential to break the universe and make it so that nothing totally matters because everything is determined by this all powerful figure. Well I was right to think that because Chica tries to deny everything with her free will, but things get reset anyway. I don't blame you for the reset since by this point it was just big villain here, monster there, oh and the Chief came back twice out of nowhere and was not nearly as menacing the second time and so did Mecha Shadow and by this point reset button is really the only way to solve it. It's kinda sad because I almost thought for a moment that you were going to stick to your guns on the whole, "just about everyone is dead" thing, foolish really this is clearly Marvel inspired not Game of Thrones.
And one last thing, the point where I thought things started to fall apart was with one guest animators part. Look I'm sorry, but I'll say it. WaldstonSFM IS NOT FUNNY!!! His animations are just feaver dreams. Ik he was present in SS, but firstly his part was way shorter and secondly it actually was kinda funny with some of the movements. Ik humour is very subjective but even if you find that funny, surely you can't be okay with how long that shit lasted, I thought the big baby space battle was maybe a tad too long, little did I know we were only about halfway through. Wanna know how to do it right? Listen to Derpy_horse4, short, sweet, not entirely funny but it wasn't really trying to be and seeing Death_horse interact with the "main" villain in SSR was the highlight really, a fun wink and nod to End of the Memeverse. Personally I would've just replaced Waldston with a new meme, a full remake of Northy 2 because that shit is actually really funny, get E.Breddy to animate something short because he's like the only one out of the four of you who didn't animate anything for this and his part in SS was a highlight or just simply cut it out all together. Other than that references were all pretty sick.
That's all I have to say, I do feel bad for going really negative like that because what with this and every other animation you've made since SS small or massive I know how much went into this, the work that you've done and believe me, it shows, it's just the writing that can in some places let it all down. The biggest take away really should be not to keep filling the movie with new ideas, villains and plot points, either save it for a sequel, or if you really do want SSR to be the last one, do some major cutting, some hard cuts yes but I'd argue nessasery ones.

Ok. I lost it at the characters who didn’t have voice acting in the beginning GET voice actors. That caught me off guard. I loved the story, the twists and turns, the humor. All of it. And I hate to single out my favorite bits because, honestly I loved all of it. But, I had a fangirl panic attack when I saw Bon and Henry from the Walten files and battington tapes. Seeing some characters who were never in the spotlight before have some time to shine was amazing. Having Obese and shadow man in the actual fight was refreshing. All of it was just the BEES’ JAZZY KNEES. I love you and your content hotdogman(not in a weird way.) keep doing what you’re doing, it makes everyone super happy

From my understanding, The Observer wanted things to go back to just being funny haha memes and shit posts like in the older videos from 2017, and started to become very upset knowing that no one wanted to play along and do that anymore, he wouldn't accept it, and tried so many times to convince anyone of them to press the button to completely reset everything, as in everyone being completely gone and starting over. Even all those AR skins, Glamrocks, and others were all being forced against their will to be just meme characters as they were being hooked up to hypnotic machines like puppets. However, Chica's strong will to fight back against what The Observer has been forcing upon them, had finally convinced The Observer to accept those changes and has allowed them all to continue living their lives again with their new changes.

This is some thing trully *special* and wonderful. Every character have their own characteristic that can easily got attracted to. The story is trully amazing and the mysterious feeling of the character is perfect. And the character design man, it's the best.

Mantis Glitchtrap is hella amazing and im sure no one expected that. And i personally love the endo Glitchtrap. And also the machine guy (i assume it's TheHottestDog himself) is so damn cool. And you very clever at choosing maps as well, ut really fit in. And when the portal open and all the characters a back, that really give me goosebumps. Especially Obese and Shadow Man.

God, its been three years since SSR was first posted and premiered... I remember watching it the day it premiered whilst getting ready for a camping trip very very clearly. Ive been hooked on watching SSR over and over again since then, and ive even watched some SSR plot/build up videos as well. SSR is still a great FNAF SFM masterpiece and still deserves the hype up to today. Exellent work, Hottestdog!

I really like it and props to the voice actors.
I will however admit that the segment with The Hottest God is a little convoluted with Chica's motive being listened to but also not really coming true.
Also Glitchtrap's minions needed more to do and the Waldstone bit was too long.
Aside from that, solid animation, great aforementioned voice acting and a really good story. Can't wait too see what your future progjects have to offer.

Bro, this is one of my favourite RUclips videos ever and I’m just so speechless. Like, whoever thought that I would watch this twice yet here I am doing exactly that. I watched this last year and I don’t know why but this time I had WAY more hype and entertainment this time also it took me forever to figure out that “The End” was actually a robot hotdog 🌭 and the voices were just… AMAZING like who would expect such a good RUclips video and this was soooooo worth the wait. Well here I am late to the party. I just wanted to wait a while for the hype to die down and for my complete obsession with this to calm down so I can properly assess this. With that being said this still hasn't left my mind even five-six months later. What can I say, it's a masterpiece. However, I would call it a masterpiece that is rough around the edges, but still a masterpiece nonetheless.
First, I would like to go over the flaws first so that I can later gush about the good stuff. I think the greatest flaw here is probably Glitchtrap. Overall he was a great villain which was well built up with great payout. However, for the character that is the actual cause of this whole plotline, there is a puzzle piece missing: reason. We are never told what his reason is, nor is it ever shown. While The_End's motives are subtle enough to figure out, Glitchtrap's lack of explained motives are what hold him back from being an amazing villain.Secondly, while all characters definitely feel like they're there for a purpose, whether they were actually utilised is a different story. Some characters just were introduced and then died (E.g. Blank and Fredbear) and Withered Bonnie was completely forgotten about, Cindy and Vinnie had an occasional quip but otherwise did nothing, as much as I love them. While many characters were very well developed (E.g. Springtrap, The Chief, General, QXR, Foxy, Candy and Chica), and Penguin and Chester both got the perfect amount of screentime (Rat and Cat had enough screentime, but I love them too much to not want more), but some were definitely underutilised. All the characters were very charming, but I feel like there were signs of arcs that could happen, but then just didn't, especially Security Puppet, Ennard and the Shadow Triplets. Ennard definitely had something there, especially revolving around Springtrap, though that may just be someone infiltrating my brain and pressing the big red "THAT'S GAY" button. But there definitely is some feelings to explain about Ennard's experiences since the Valentines Day Special, or sny reaction to Springtrap's co-operation with Chief, considering they are best friends. When it comes to the Shadow Triplets, they just needed one or two more scenes to really anchor their newfound connection to the protagonists. Especially 2, who was standing alongside the squad rather than with QXR during the confrontation, and when he was most like the leader of the three, it would have been so interesting to see that change (as you can see, 2 is my favourite shadow droid, alongside Shadowman). And of course, Security Puppet, who no doubt could've had an arc here. During her chat with Vinnie it was most visible, but it was just mentioned once and forgotten about, kind of like her entire character after the first half of the movie. Finally, the problem that probably bugs me most is the final few scenes of the movie, mostly the return of all the characters and the epilogue. The problem with these is that the characters never react to each other's return. Like when they return, Freddy or Bonnie both don't react to seeing Foxy again, and they don't even react to seeing Chica again who had been missing for ages and has now returned, and neither of them interact with her once outside of one line of dialogue. Springtrap never reacts to Ennard's return after he sacrificed his life for him (I swear to god give Ennard his happy ending he deserves it he's been tortured since the Valentines Day Special), and Security Puppet never gets to react to Vinnie being alive. Speaking of her, Security Puppet and Puppet (who barely gets half a minute of screentime) never reunite, which is a shame considering that foreshadowing during her conversation with Vinnie, and even in the epilogue the two never interact throughout the entire movie which actually irritates me.
Now, we finally get out the good stuff. First of all, we should all collectively appreciate the work that went into this, especially when it's mainly solo done, and to this extent of quality is just so amazing, so we should all thank TheHottest Dog for his valiant effort. Alongside this, definitely many of the faults of SSR can be blamed o the effort of this and the cancelled SS3 which, though it may have helped to flesh out the characters, I can fully understand why it was cancelled. The blood, sweat and tears that went into making SS and SSR could are already so much and we should just appreciate that these were made at all.
First of all, the animation is fantastic and the pacing is well near perfect, and I really appreciate the lack of tonal issue (except for Waldston SFM's segment, but that just doesn't personally appeal to my sense of humour) and, while most of it isn't original, the music was very well picked and fit the scenes so well and so perfectly in time it's shocking. Both QXR and Chief are amazing villains, QXR is a great recurring threat, and it's really interesting to see his impact on the Chief, who has become almost tragic in his corruption, and though it's brief, the way it is shown between him and Freddy is so powerful. Adding Springtrap into the equation was so clever, not only explaining his whereabouts during all this time, but also adding a new layer to his character. I love the hierarchy of villainy presented here, Chief actually being manipulated by QXR and Glitchtrap, who is controlled by The_End. The contrast between the Chief & Glitchtrap and Freddy & Springtrap is also brief but incredibly effective, as is the contrast between the Chief and Chica, both discovered their orgins, but Chica is fine with change and is at peace with who she and her friends are, while the Chief would go to any lengths to change it. Overall the Chief story is executed so well and the underlying tragedy of his story his hard. It’s been talked about to death but the General is such a good character. His change was subtly foreshadowed during Special Strike, him being the only one to question Chief's motives and his bickering with RXQ, all coming to a point when he betrays QXR, and it's all believable, I also like how he doesn’t fully change after the betrayal, he's still a bit of an asshole but ultimately sticks with the team. Foxy is the biggest callback to SS, him having to come to terms with his grief, blaming himself for his friends' deaths, like Springtrap, making it all the more satisfying when the two talk and explain their hardships and agree to work through them. Chica is adorably likeable but has this admirable loyalty and resilience (something I always appreciate in a character) and her conversations with The_End are incredibly compelling. Candy, my favourite main character, has probably the most believable arc of all characters, going from a inconsiderate boss who has no cares for the friends he treats like employees, but eventually becomes more caring and selfless until he actually sacrfices his life for someone (mainly due to his newfound connection to Security Puppet and his longer relationship with Cindy -are they related?-). Security Puppet is shy darling who cares wholeheartedly about her friends and is reluctant to fix what's broken, but she is always ready to compromise to keep her friends safe, making her my all around favourite character. Going into this blind, avoiding all trailers and previews, I was expecting no humour at all, so the first time it appeared it caught me so off guard. The humour is extremely well timed it makes every joke funny and it never gets old. The contrast between Cindy and Blank causes a few giggles, the portal jumping and battles were hilarious, the Shadow Triplets really do behave like triplets and it's hilarious, and of course, Rat and Cat were the biggest source of humour to me, their dynamic and exchanges are priceless, especially when they actually work off of each other when capturing Glitchtrap and fucking with QXR. We also can't forget about Obese 'Middle Name' F***** and Shadowman. Need I say anything more. However, my greatest respect towards this project has to be it's ambition. This movie is so mature that we all forgot that around half of TheHottest Dog's fanbase are children, so to be willing to challenge them with something like this is really something to admire.
So while it doesn't lack flaws, Special Strike Rebellion is still a masterpiece and I can't wait for the 2022 project, which could fix the flaws I mentioned. In the end this is all my opinion, but I pledge my undying respect and thanks to TheHottest God, thank you so much and I am so sorry this was so long.
Edit: So I finally found the motivation to fix a couple spelling mistakes, I know I didn't talk about The_End much, but I'd prefer to do that during the 2022 project, have a lovely day.

It’s been 3 years since this masterpiece came out, I remember the first time I watched it, I can’t believe it’s 2025 now.
This was incredible! Also, I know everyone is saying he won’t continue the series (obviously because he’s got college and dang, these things take a LONG), but if he didn’t want to continue the story in actual movies, maybe he could make a Special Strike Show? IDK, it was an idea. Please don’t pressure it upon him though, he deserves the break. And Hottest Dog, I’d you’re reading this: it’s just a suggestion and I love what you did in this movie! A true spectacle. Can’t wait to see what you do down the road and hopefully you continue your wonderful work!
He really doesn't need to make movies, 5-10 minute episodes will definitely suffice. Also, considering how this is a full length movie made by one guy and just a few others in 2 years, I'd say it was pretty quick.

This was one of the BEST things to happen after the chaos of 2020, i think it got out a new side of us that most of us thought we did not have. This was one of many masterpieces that will come in the future and will make even more people happy as well, and even tho scott retired, FNAF will still be in our heart while others are making and loving FNAF. I love everything about this, and more yet to come and i could also see why it took a long time for it to come out. So to you, TheHottestDog, the others who helped make this, and the others watching this who are planning more FNAF stuff in the future..... Just make sure to remember others that FNAF is the beat game to appear for us and will still be. And.... Thank you Scott... for everything.

ok ima be honest this is actually one of if not the greatest pieces of fnaf media. I’ve been watching this channel ever since 2017 back when the thanksgiving special came out. Back then I was baby brain and I thought that this channel was just gonna be a funny fnaf animation channel and nothing else, BOY WAS I WRONG. This is such a good video/movie and I’m so glad I could watch all of this unfold. The twist with glitch trap being the one who started it all was so well executed that I died. I’m so confused how you don’t have 1 mil subs yet, like how. The amount of people that appeared was so hype, I’m glad I could be here to watch this.

While this is not a perfect movie, some things such as the animation, lighting and ideas could have been improved upon, this massive project truly shows what the FNaF community is capable of. This is just as absolutely amazing as the Knife Party Mega Mashup collab. It's a well put combination of both ridiculous memes and a compelling storyline that somehow does not involve children souls at all. This is the first time we have ever seen an original FNaF storyline in the form a of a movie, well, the second time since Special Strike is also a movie. I cannot be more grateful to everyone who dedicated a lot of their time, skills, and energy to this crazy adventure. I never thought that SSR would finally be complete, yet here we are. Thank you so much for bringing this movie to life. You deserve all the recognition and attention for everything that you've done.

Even after basically 5 months and seeing that the next fnaf game will be in December, I just want to say that this is THE best thing to come out of this community, 2 hours of glorious animation that has been worked on by all these gifted creators. If this was released in theaters it would make just as much as Endgame. It's that perfect of an anima- actually...movie of SFM.

Honestly, the only loose end I want tied up is the Chief. I would actually like to see the Chief get redemption for real this time and come back to the family. Or at least have the crew figure out that the Chief is corrupted and try to save him. And if there is more Special Lore to come, you should probably break it down into smaller episodes instead of another big movie like this, because I don’t think everyone can handle another two years of waiting again. Anyways, this was amazing and I can’t wait to see more with the new models!

Even though there are a small amount of criticisms that I can draw, this is nothing short of you people outdoing yourselves. SSR exceeded my expectations and more, with better, less outdateable comedy, a very deep, complex, and serious storyline, and a lot of references that feel fitting and not completely random and without reason (something that was one of the original's major flaws). This is also the most beautiful-looking SFM animation I've ever seen, by far, and that's up against some stiff competition.

This is gonna probably be rather wholesome, and maybe ignored, but I just want to put this out there.
So. I missed much. I didn’t join in the fanbase until December of 2020, so I do not have many memories. I have missed the growth of many channels, and of the fanbase itself. I was young, and didn’t like scary things, but I had obviously grown. I am shaken, by Scott’s announcement, even though, well, I said earlier. But I want to say, even if I missed the development to SS, I found this gem of a channel, and have been waiting for SSR. Even though it was in development for about a year, maybe, when I found this channel. Now, I have seen many things, funny, cursed, hilarious, and serious things, but what really mattered, was the creator. Scott, animation channels, all of that. Who knows where all of us would be, if Scott never made Five Nights at Freddy’s? Because of Scott, of the memories he had made for all of you, we all can make whatever we desire, story’s based off of FNaF, or just AUs (alternate universes) of FNaF. I’m not religious, but I will say, he kinda gave us a sense of what a working, peaceful fanbase can be. Yes, we were, or some people were, toxic to Scott, due to his beliefs, but I honestly don’t care. All I care, is of him able to support the many games that were inspired by FNaF. And the fact he gave ideas to so many people to animate, too! I think, that’s it, and yes, it’s long, since I don’t comment often. I just wanted to put this out there.
Most of all, thank you. Thank you for making animations I adore and love. That goes for many other channels too. Not just you. All of the animators I watch, had inspired me to think about animating later on. Oh, wait, that wasn’t all. But, I promise I’m done now. And uh, if this somehow blows up, I’ll be genuinely surprised.

This is a masterpiece. This man did this whole project with only a few people and made something that makes big companies quiver in fear. The timing and characters are so well written, and the little bits of comedy don't feel forced. This is something the RUclips platform should remember for the time to come. Thank you so much for going out of your way just to make this, you truly made something amazing and I can't express how impressed I am. So once again, thank you, you absolute legends.
Also. The animation is so good! Even real companies fail to reach this level of fluidity and detail ALSO they have hired voice actors and you did it better! Companies that have whole teams and a budget are so bad and horribly written. But a few person made all of this in the time span of TWO YEARS like that's insane! And the personality's to these character are 3D and remain solid throughout the entire movie, which is such a hard tasks when you also try to add character development to the plot as well! Even big big companies like Hollywood, Pixar, and Disney have trouble with stuff like this. But the brain of a few people made this. I could go on all day about how crazy and truly impressive this is. But I'll spare you my Rambling. You did such an amazing job dude, be proud because this isn't easy and yet you did it anyways. Be proud
