I love how much TCO adapts to the situation. Some weirdo decides to attack him but he isn’t that strong? Grab him and push him away without hurting him. His enemy is getting too strong? He fights faster. His enemy gets a speed boost? He tries to grab his opponent. His enemy wants to grab him? Use ranged attacks. He can’t use fire? Freeze himself so as to avoid damage. His enemy has a leash around his neck and clones himself? Use the clones’ weapons to cut the leash. His fire blasts are firing backwards? He aims away from the target so they’ll still hit. His memories are being read forcibly while he’s tied to a chair? Smash his head on the floor to either knock the memory reader loose or at least give himself amnesia. Not only is he naturally stronger, faster, and more powerful than his opponents, he’s also more cunning and seemingly more determined to not give in than Victim is.
It's also very much worth noting when he caused the memory reader to disconnect. What looked to Victim like just normal struggling completely skipped past the exact thing that Victim was looking for: how to find Alan
Something that all the villains in Alan Becker have in common is that they have all suffered (except for Dark Lord, who only did it for fun and absolute power), Purple lost his parents, Orange lost his son, Chosen One was a slave, even Second Coming who was almost caught by Alan Becker who also eliminated his friends, but without a doubt the one who has suffered the most of all of them is Victim, who was only created as a test dummy, a victim to kill, he was created to That, without powers, without destiny, destiny made him and now he is the head of an entire company. Within the lore Alan Becker had an evolution, he went from being sadistic and aggressive, to compassionate and friendly, Victim and Chosen One met him in his first form... while Second Coming was lucky enough to meet him friendly, otherwise he would surely have died..
You are right, I think the victim suffered the most in this series and while every character (even the supporting characters) has friends in the series, the victim is a stickman who lives without love and without anyone who loves him, and maybe doesn't even know the meaning of love. TCO and TDL King - Purple TSC - Fighting Stick Figure 4 Alan Becker - TSC victim - ? The victim is the only character in this series who lives without love, so this is one of the reasons why he is so vengeful and merciless that he doesn't show mercy to whip TCO. Mercenaries are there for the victim's money, so are the hard-working gray workers everyone is just there for the victim's money or maybe because they're scary
Awesome analysis! Though to be fair to Alan, The Chosen One was only enslaved because he immediately tried to destroy Alan's computer the moment he was created. My guy was NOT stable minded back in the day, lol.
@@animatörünoyunckatölyesi You can actually see a few scenes where pixel and Agent seem genuinely proud of victim Like, He must have known Agent Smith for a long time to trust him when controlling the box, he also seems to know victims weaknesses as well, indicating Agent Smith and Victim most likely have a deep connection. 2: in a small scene, you can see pixel mod his head while watching victim, and walking closer to Agent as if he's actually interested. Bathroom sign and Archer Probably don't care as much, Atleast from this point of view Atleast Victim isn't actually abusing them, (As a old scene in the live in the Alan Becker stream) there was a clip of the mercenaries relaxing in a breakroom, Which they all seem genuinely have a genu good relationship with eachother Which is why I believe Atleast Smith or Pixel cares about him, And he's a genuinely good boss
@@Skibidussy_Fanumtax Victim's grey workers have the same body shape as Orange's friends but uniquely, move with bendy limbs. Which is reminiscent of how Pivot's node based assets move. (It's a stickfigure animator program if how don't know). Along with Agent, who looks exactly the same as Pivot's logo but with sunglasses. This characteristic is not shared by any of the other mercaries. This could be a sign of artificial origin, and that they are Victim's creations. I'm imagining a scene in my head where he manifests/spawns Agent in a blank space and names him: "Officer" or something while the greys are named "Worker" So its possible Agent has been with Victim before his Company was even established. And the other mercenaries are only recent hires for The Chosen One's bounty. Another big reason supporting this is Agent's expertise with the animator manipulation machines. Which wouldn't make sense if he was also a recently hired merc from the outernet like the others.
13:35 this part has to be one of my favourite scenes in the entire series. Just the moment of realisation on Victim’s face that The Second Coming, the friendly, cooperative stick figure, was able to kill The Dark Lord in a matter of seconds with his own unique power. And then, The Second Coming glances up to see a screen of him shooting a mega laser at The Dark Lord, a laser more powerful than anything The Chosen One could do. The way he looks to his hands, the shock that flows through him, that he could be one of the most powerful beings on the entire internet. This part truly gave me chills. And this scene is only a few seconds long!
Guys , need an explain , despite the help of mind reading machine through theChosenOne , why Thevictim ignored the fact that the virabots and thedarklord exists ? Why he just only cares to take down alan of course there's a chance that TDL retruns . He aint aware of TDL though
@@madding1602 yes i know the vengeance of victims hate but only that he might not expecting a another enemy just entered the arena but this might depend on the scenarios . that's what im thought at , maybe one of them will be killed , maybe they could be not enough prepared for a TDL surprising return .
The idea of TSC's drawings being sentient is kinda scary. The way the eel shows immediate distress at the thought of being erased and immediatly attempts escape was the highlight of this episode.
Is no one going to talk about how well that last scene with RGBY displayed their personalities? With Red and Green being the combative ones, jumping straight into action to defend the other two and Blue being the more passive one who’d rather surrender if it meant the the others wouldn’t get hurt. Also how you can see Yellow’s cautiousness and how it disappears the moment Green and Red are knocked down. The attention to detail is amazing
I realized something that may change the whole perspective. The first weapon Alan uses on the victim in the first episode is a rope/whip thing. The victim also makes clones, and the clones and victim have the same weapons as in this video, it's a pretty neat detail also to see that victim seeks revenge.
I like how each big villain is different: Dark Lord is a thrill-seeker, Purple is someone who wants to prove himself, King Orange is driven by tragedy, and Victim is just spiteful.
>Victim wants revenge on Alan for torturing him for his own amusement with animation tools >Victim ends up torturing the Chosen One for his own amusement with animation tools like father, like son
Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue have officially broken the record for the WORST rescue attempt in animation history. They were on the compound for all of 10 seconds before being spotted on security cams and captured by the head mercenary.
Watched through again and realized the scariest thing about the fight for TCO is that because the box he’s in is opaque from the inside, he doesn’t even know how Victim is doing this. To him it just looks like all of his powers are getting sapped away while Victim is just magically getting stronger.
The memory scanner shows how much care Alan puts into his work because msot of the time when someone's memories are being projected, they just reuse footage of the episode, but when Victim Scan's TCO, Alan put so much effort into making an accurate depiction of the events in the episode through TCO's POV, amazing job
Yess, that's what I respect from his animation! I always annoyed when memory projection uses footage, like that's what the audiences see, not what the character's see!
I LOVE the other's reactions to TSC's powers. TSC is just confused like: I CAN DO THAT? The mercenaries are like: HE CAN DO THAT? And then there's Victim, I can totally see that his mind was like: 4, THERE'S ONLY 4 STICKMEN WITH A HOLLOWED HEAD, AND I'M THE ONLY ONE WHO DOESN'T HAVE SOME WILD POWER-
its funny, i always had the blind assumption that any stick figure was capable of bringing art to life if they simply had an interest in art. The other stick figures never tried, and the only one that did (Victim) had already died. but the fact its only limited to TSC creates a whole new image of how his abilities work. All this time, i had assumed his name was meant to mean he was The Second Coming of The Chosen One. And maybe that was supposed to be the case at first, but maybe the forces of this world can't pick up on the intended context. Much like how you can't tell a bird is supposed to be a bird until you draw its beak and wings, maybe the world's logic didn't tie TSC's name to The Chosen One. Maybe it drew the necessary context of the one who made TSC, Alan. "The Second Coming of the Creator" That would explain why TSC has the power to create life, because Alan did too through the stickmen. When a character in art is given the powers of the creator who made them, that's when it REALLY starts to break the fourth wall, and they become a god. Whether i'm right or wrong, still really curious to see how TSC's powers will develop
Man, the scene where the Chosen one gets demolished hits so hard, especially as a character who has been built up for years as not someone invicible, but definitely incredibly powerful, and to see him in such a state for so long, especially with the rope got me messed up.
as Korean, the biggest reason why I like Alan's videos is that all viewers around world can watch his animation videos without any language barrier. I love Alan's whole animation series
I agree with you! Alan Becker is now a top-class professional. It's incredible how he managed to reach such a level! Respect! And his tutorials helped me create my first animation!
I just JUST realized, a year later who the gray guy in the box is, im sure most people already realized but if you look at 7:49 you can see the obj name is "victim" the first stick man Alan created all the way back in episode 1.
For a long time after the video came out I refused to perceive him as a Victim, but my friend made me admit that this is my little beloved dead Victim😭 (I wrote through a translator, I apologize)
I liked the detail of how The Chosen One was afraid of the Victim’s whip. It reminded him of Alan's terrible treatment of him in his past, when he was chained and enslaved. This hurts him more than any other Stickman (except perhaps Victim), because Alan did not give him the love that he gave to the other Stickmen. This season clearly shows that the main character here is not green, blue, yellow and red, or even TSC, the main character here is TCO
@@-victim. I have an educated guess that TSC's powers are alien, his second personality. Everyone believes with great confidence that TSC activated his powers because TDL killed his friends in front of him, and from this logic it follows that this is his power, however, upon reflection, this theory is stupid. My theory is that his second personality has awakened, which either gives him the ability to create, or already enhances his existing abilities to create. At the moment of killing TSC's friends, the second personality does not wake up immediately, it wakes up only when TDL sends ViraBots to destroy the Internet, which means that this personality is activated when there is the greatest danger to the digital world. Also, TSC has absolutely no memory of what happened and did not understand what TCO was telling him when he asked him for help, which clearly indicates that these are the powers of his second personality. Even his name speaks of someone's second coming (although this most likely speaks of the return of the Chosen One). From this it follows that TSC does not know anything about his abilities and all this time thought that it was the Chosen One who defeated the Dark Lord, which means that two personalities are locked in one body. The first of them is the main one, the second of them is the one that enhances the abilities of the first, and one of them awakens precisely when there is the greatest threat. If we follow this logic, then most likely in the series we will see unsuccessful attempts to master this power, and someday he will lose her
@@-victim. Moreover, if these were really the powers of the first TSC personality, he would have activated them earlier when he tried to resist the Dark Lord. He was already disappointed and angry, but he did not call on his powers, and this fact suggests that most likely these are the powers of his second personality. Who the second person is is a mystery. It may be a powerful being, or a personification of life or creation. We don't know anything except that she is connected to an animator who is also capable of breathing life into his creations. Most likely the strongest creature is Alan's cursor, because he still has much more influence on the world than TSC and TCO. This could mean that the Victim will not just try to destroy the cursor, but will also try to drain TSC, drain his powers and use them against Alan
I love the panic and shock they had when they found out that TSC is much stronger than he let on, and the Sentient drawings are the tip of the iceberg.
@@speedydounut2316 Yep, they portrayed TSC's shock perfectly. I think TSC didn't even remember, since he fainted after he went "Super Saiyan". They all seem to realize that he's basically super powerful now, and I think it's just setting up what's gonna happen next.
Interesting how Victim doesn’t seem to have any powers of his own, instead relying on the technology of the box to give him an edge against TCO. He seems like the kind of villain who props himself up with the crazy animator tech and skilled mercenaries he has at his disposal, but he’s really just hiding behind all of them because he has nothing on his own.
Well, he was made to be the victim. He decided to 'write' his own fate and get revenge. tbh, even though he's the new villain in the story, i can understand where victim is coming from. Dude was basicly bullied and tortured when he got made. All for someone elses fun.
Oh he totally is. Dude was living 15 times faster and had five copies of himself and still almost got his butt kicked even with constant support. He's not strong, he's resourceful. Seems he's using the things he finds to supplement his lack of skill and power
maybe his power is intelligence, i think that he has recreated the type of "computer technology" that he fought against Against Alan (like the sliders, pause buttons and weapons). And also the weapons Victim has is a throwback to Animator vs Animation 1, when Victim duplicated himself. His clones were all using those weapons to try and defeat Alan, until Alan closed the paint program and they lost.
I think he’s one of the most tragic Alan villains ever. Ok there’s only been like 4 villains with most of them having redemption arcs but you get the point.
What I find fascinating, is that when they tried to replicate the power of the pencil by mimicking TSC none of it worked, all they did was make some lines. For TSC it’s easy, it’s like breathing to him to create because he has that creative spark to him. To the others they’re just tools or weapons, things they expect to work but art requires the practice and dedication and it shows the lacking. They may be able to use them, but they limit themselves in their application. We even see this in the 4th episode of AVA where Alan sees how talented TSC is compared to him… and he created him! TSC has heart and it defines him.
I love everyone's reaction to TSC's powers. He was looking at his hands terrified, as if he was scared of himself. The mercenaries were shocked and confused as to why he didn't use this power in their fight while the workers immediately ran to lock him up. And Victim was also taken by surprise, as he realised he accidentally kidnapped someone who could turn his 17 years of work and planning into dust in just a few seconds. The way he went to TCO being like "Explain all this!". I also like to think that he felt a tad jealous realising he is indeed the only one of Alan's creations that isn't insanely overpowered. Edit: The new Corn Dog Guy short shows a lot more. They weren't scared only by the fact TSC has superpowers. They didn't just think "Oh shoot, the kid is op." No. They thought "Oh shoot, this kid made the earthquake that shook the whole city to its core, this kid obliterated a mountain, this kid created a light brighter than the sun." The shock wasn't just because TSC has powers. It was because they know EXACTLY what these powers are capable of.
@@Henri11111 TSC still has his powers, but I'm guessing that TSC was only able to activate it in a brain fog moment. Note that TSC also was able to activate it when fighting TDL and when his companions were hurt. Meaning he doesn't activate it only when it's an actual threat that has a possible chance to destroy, but idk. Just my guess
What i find really cool is that if you go back to episode one you see victim uses the same weapons then as he uses now when duplicated. The attention to detail is amazing along with the animation and story
I FOUND THAT DETAIL SO AWESOME. ALSO HOW THE GLASSES GUY KNOWS HOW TO USE LASSO AND POLE- makes me think that victim has kind of taught them how to fight and has been training for years
@@James_the_mpa well he didnt train the flipnote guy hes known how to fight for quite a while now, search up the animation with him using all of his power to get a door open (he also fought TCO once, its on newgrounds i think)
For anyone who wanted episode 11, me too, but please be patient, remember animation is not easy, especially there is a lot of 3d perspective in this series which not something that Alan usually do.
All I'm hoping for is that we'll only get 4 episodes of this season like the previous 2. I can't handle seeing my favorite stickmen get abused more and more.
Dear god, everything about this episode was just amazing, the realization by orange, the show of victims anger, and the fight scenes were just impeccable! Holy crap how have you and your team not won an award?
@nevascalange3091 V8ctim was the original hollow head stickman that was bullied by Alan, and everyone made theories about the gray hollow head being him and it makes sense because he's looking for the cursor now
The way that he’s showing the competency of the main cast in fighting, how Red was quick to act, but Blue and Yellow were more passive till they needed to join in, both showing their personality’s and how they are still above average as they are Fighting Sticks after all
I love the way victim acts, it just gives massive "Weak dog that barks the loudest" energy. He is completely powerless in a world with beings as crazy powerful as TCO, yet he has created tech that can level the things between them. The thing is, WHY is he powerless? Alan's Stickmen are all really powerful. Is it the name, "victim"? TSC/Orange wasn't named by Alan yet he is probably the most powerful of the stickmen. Why is victim powerless? Hopefully all these questions will be answered in the next episode, it's so exciting, keep it up!
Victim was a stickman Alan created 16 years ago, it was one of his first characters. You can see at the end of his old video, when they are 5 they have different weapons and in the white cube they all have the same weapon as in that old video. Somehow Victim has survived all these years just to get his revenge
The reason Victim doesn’t have powers while the Chosen One does is because Victim was created at a lower difficulty level than him. After Victim, Alan wanted to make something that was a bigger challenge to him, which was how the Chosen One was created. He turned the difficulty all the way up to “Chosen One.”
Maybe it has to do with intention or imagination. We saw how TSC was the only stick figure who managed to give life and a purpose to his drawings, in the same way Alan has done before. With TDL, Alan made him with the intention and purpose of being stronger and capable of defeating TCO, and he did, so when making victim he probably just wanted a harmless little creature to slap around for fun
@@Axeeco This might be the most logical explanation. And gives a greater reason as why victim has a much larger vendetta against Alan than TCO. Because while Alan did imprison and kept TCO as his pop up blocker, TCO ended up causing the same(perhaps even more) suffering across the entire web to many more mascots. And perhaps he felt that he had no right to judge or try to find vengeance, for he was no better(Although it looks like it was mostly TDL dragging TCO across the web. And we can see that TCO, while a bit extreme has ultimately had a change of heart.) ...That was a pretty long tangent, the point is: I think your vision aligns pretty well with everything, and it might just be the actual answer.
I notice how TCO is too good to be a villain despite how strong he is, leads to the reason why he was easily to be tortuned. He always holds back power as equal as his opponent, doesnt really want to kill anyone or seek for bad-doings.
Nah, once TCO found out Victim had malicious intent, he definitely wasn't holding back. He burnt all of his clones to a crisp, and would've done the same to him if not for Agent interfering. Also, you can't tell me he held back against Virabot or the Dark Lord with how viciously aggressive he was.
you can clearly see TCO holding back here 5:15 At first he didnt even throwing fist, because Victim was too weak. TCO just looked at Victim and decided to pushed him back. The entire screen later was just TCO trying to defend himself, not a single will of fighting, until he was so push to finally punch back one-single-fist (and it missed, a fist that didnt even look strong) - 6:12 Notice how the entire time, despite the fact that TCO knows something was assisted Victim and he himself was in the disadvantaged side but still didnt use any of his power? (Fire/ice) Because he knows if he uses his gifted power, Victim may just blowned in a second. Oh sorry, he did use his power lmao, but it doesnt look scary or at least have any kill-intention to me, just some fire-ball of self-defend when he knew he was in danger when fighting fist to fist - 6:30. As you can see - 8:20 - this is when he ACTUALLY used his power to fight, not throwing some fire ball for self-defend Mentally, in a fight, when someone too strong fighting with someone clearly too much weaker than them. The stronger always the one getting the mentally disadvantage because of their moral. The weak trying to win the fight while the strong trying to not kill. Only when Victim used his weapon, did TCO decided to use his powers too - 7:00 TCO clearly wasnt trying to fight-to-win here, he self-defend. He only uses power as equal as his opponent. If TCO used his full power since the start, Victim could be dead right after entering that room before Victim could even enhance himself.
@@DLxxx you said TCO found out Victim had malicious intention -> TCO decided not to hold back. But all I can see is just a black cat being tortured by a gray man until it raises its claw. Victim pushed TCO to that point, not because TCO found out Victim’s intention.
7:59 the weapons Victim has is a throwback to Animator vs Animation 1, when Victim duplicated himself. His clones were all using those weapons to try and defeat Alan, until Alan closed the paint program and they lost.
I just realized during 13:28 when they were about to see TCO's memory of entering through Alan's PC is when he started to try mess up the device so they wont find out about him being able to access it which probably might delay them from getting to Alan since theyre most likely gonna focus on tsc
I noticed that too personally I didn't think it was something TCO purposely did I think it was just they couldn't get a recovery of that location specifically because it's outside of their world like attempting to gain access to a file you don't have if it's somewhere not in a plane you yourself can access it can't be accessed and I think the fact TCO started whacking his head is because the device turned off because of the signal loss given the fact he wasn't flailing until after the fact the signal was lost it makes sense and it immediately jumped to another point in time when it restarted which means glasses was forced to skip over anything that happened after the dark lord fight it could have been forgotten because we haven't seen more than what's been seen recently and TSCs specific moment but I think my theory holds water based on what's shown
@@spirittail4958 This theory does make sense except for the fact that the corridor that separates their world from Alan's should have been shown. it was still 3 dimensional and it wasn't separated from their world by anything. I agree with @megumideniega976. At 13:02 we can see that TCO looks at and can see the screen. We can see at 13:24 that he is still looking. TCO knew that Victim wanted to find Alan and saw that his memories were being played in reverse. he began shaking the headset right before he entered the PC. Note: At 13:08 at the top of the screen, we can see that the headset is called "memory_scanner.exe". I don''t think that it is impossible to portray what TCO saw in Alan's PC, but it certainly would have been something the Team wanted to avoid.
Another amazing episode! I like how dark this one is. I'm so happy Orange finally found out about his powers! I also love the town with the different stick figures, Victim having absolutely no mercy, the fantastic 3D in the scene where Victim and the mercenaries walk through the building, Red being the first one to fight as always... I'm hyped for the next episode!
Jesus the tone of this season is just so much more serious than others. I love it. It's darker, yet still fun. There's blatant cruelty, but also wonder and comedy.
After 17 years, victim finally returns for a fight... and they're a total loser, I love it. The box being an absolute home field advantage area for them, you have to give them that. They built the whole rocket foundation with whatever skills and resources they escaped Alan's computer with, all those years ago. So the absolutely unfair box is allowed, we'll let it slide and say it's fair. But the fact that TCO has them absolutely dead to rights before the fight ends, and it's only the Agent stick's interference, their initiative, that saves victim. From a TCO who was nerfed into the ground. Even with no facial expressions, it's easy to imagine them still _seething_ during the entire interrogation. And then when they see the footage of TSC and the realisation that they're the only one of Alan's sticks who isn't batshit strong. Their entire demeanour is an interesting contrast to TDL. The only times TDL seems to lose their composure is when they're eviscerating TSC (the entire thing smacks of overkill versus how subdued and efficient they were against the fighting sticks) and right afterwards, when TSC annihilates the Virabots and TDL suckerpunches them and tries to fly like hell away (they're shaking right before they pull themself away from TSC). It could speak to a difference in attitudes between the two. TDL considered Alan only as a trial run for their real objective, that much is mostly inarguable. They certainly have no love for him, but compared to victim, it's like they consider Alan as something solidly in the rear view mirror of their ambitions. victim meanwhile, has an all-consuming grudge, towards Alan and everything he's made. And their enterprises, Virabot and Rocket corp, Virabot is TDL's own thing entirely, but Rocket? That's all Alan, all in imitation of Alan. We've no idea how victim escaped the program after AvA I, but it's also plainly, painfully clear that 17 years later, victim hasn't escaped at all.
@@GoFullScreen Thanks! Originally this was just me calling victim a fraud because it's funny (and true), but since this series relies so heavily on body language to convey any sort of emotion in the characters, it meant I had to actually look at it and think about it, and once I was there, I ended up wondering "why not put some actual thought in?" I imagine in the next few episodes, we'll get some real meat to compare and contrast victim and King as well, as antagonists principally motivated by a grudge, though I reckon victim's grudge is going to be far harder to reckon with than King's. It's a bit early to definitively pick out what the theme of AvA VI will be, but "past sins and grudges" is an overwhelmingly safe bet. TCO has a laundry list of crimes from the interrim between III and V, and victim is, well, a victim. They were made to be tormented, and that's a status unique to them. TCO was made as a worthy opponent, TDL was made because TCO became way too much to handle, and TSC is an entirely innocent creation, from an animation Alan was making. To start slowly dipping into future episode theorising, I think a companion theme to this series' theme of "past sins and grudges" is going to be "the ability to grow." The thing motivating victim is their grudge against Alan, but it's the companion theme that'll determine if they survive at the end. If victim and Rocket corp stay defined by Alan as they are, then they're both doomed. To go back to my phrasing from my previous comment, AvA I ended with Alan deleting victim without it ever escaping the program, at the end of this, it'll be that easy if victim isn't able to escape after all this time. I'm also attached to the theory of "the ability to grow" as a possible theme for this series because it's such a perfect ground for The Dark Lord to make a return, but that's like, theorising based on theorising so I'll withhold for now.
Great analysis. The interesting thing is, victim is less of a victim than TCO is. TCO was beaten by Alan in AvA II, chained up, and used as a pop-up blocker! Granted, he kinda deserved it for wrecking Alan's computer for basically no reason, but if anyone could think of himself as the victim here it's him and it'd seem like he would have a bigger grudge than anyone. But really it's all in the names. Victim was created to be a victim so he will have that kind of constant mentality and probably can't think of anyone's pain but his own. He probably sees himself as having suffered the most, as the ultimate victim, because that's what he was created to be. So now he's stuck in his mentality of victimhood and starving for revenge against the one he believes has deeply wronged him. The names are significant with the others as well. The Dark Lord had been originally made to defeat TCO but darkness and power were things that drive him, so his turn to violent conquest was destined no matter his origins. The Chosen One's name seems to imply some great heroic destiny. He's been chosen for something incredible. Maybe it was being the one to escape Alan but it feels like more than that. Perhaps we'll see what that is in this series. The Second Coming also implies a heroic destiny and he certainly seems to be living up to that. After all, he is the hero of both AvA and AvM. He has saved both Minecraft and the Internet and it is likely that he is about to defeat another villain. (I mean, Purple kinda accidentally saved Minecraft but TSC and the color gang got the creative staff through the portal so it was sorta fifty-fifty.) The fact that he is The Chosen One's Return is important as well though I'm not entirely sure in what way. It looks like he's meant to be greater than TCO. He's certainly more powerful than him or anyone else for that matter. Again, we'll probably be seeing him reaching his potential as The Second Coming in this series and I can't wait for it. Unfortunately, we'll likely be waiting another six months for the next episode. *sad noises*
One thing worth noting about TCO was that in AvA 5 - The Flashback, TCO clearly remembers the torment he endured under Alan, but decides to help out anyway. It really does cement his personality as The Chosen One despite everything.
As an 2D animaton Colledge student. It brings me great joy seeing him use all the animation tools such as the lasso, opacity, selector, pencil, line thickness, freeze, and so many more to be cleverly be used in the story. I hope to get as good as Alan beaker and his team one day.
@@shiny_froze7025 Basically yeah, it lets you circle a certain area and everything in that area get selected. I’m not as familiar with it since the drawing program I use doesn’t have it but from what I’ve seen that’s basically how it works.
I love how this episode gives us insight into Victim’s mind. As his name implies, he has a victim complex. I think that’s what he was trying to demonstrate to The Chosen One: all stick figures are victims of their animators’ abuse and Victim wants to put a stop to that by destroying the animators. Granted, the way he goes about it isn’t great, but it’s hard to disagree with his point.
I can say that Victim is going too far, but I don't think there is any harm in him doing this because when he comes back after 17 years and becomes a stickman whose color has changed and who has not inherited a single special power, it is quite logical that Victim is at such an insane level of psychology that it is very normal for him to want revenge from Alan. because he erased it and threw it in a corner
I also liked the detail of how the Chosen One was afraid of the Victim’s whip.
I like how this entire episode completely proves how little power Victim actually has. We saw that the names Alan gives to his stick figures dictate their abilities and partially even their personalities. Victim is that. A VICTIM. He has no super powers and not even much smarts. Everything he's done has not been of his own merit; it's all someone else. He's only able to get on a fighting level with TCO because they were in that Box and he needed to be beefed up because we saw at the beginning that his punches did jack all, and yet even after that, TCO was STILL able to last for a long time against him. He needed the other figures to do his bidding, and now he needs Yellow to even GET anywhere near Alan. The only thing he really has is the knowledge of the drawing tools that Alan has, and even that's a null now because TSC can do MUCH more than he probably could just with that eel display.
i agree, but he must have some kind of ace up his sleeve since hes so eager to find alans computer i do like how he's more of a mob boss style villain compared to other AVA/AVM villains, especially since hes technically the first stick figure in the entire series the eldest brother in a way to TCO/TDL/ and TSC
Love the Little detail at 11:07 where the Eel's electricity transfers to orange, It becomes green- possibly indicating the reason why he's able to make thin lines go into life is because he already has the powers even if he doesn't see it
Yeah, you're right, and the fact that the workers realized that he could destroy the entire facility if he were to go full power shows that maybe Chosen One isn't the strongest to them anymore, oh but lock TSC in a damn iron box to "avoid" him destroying it, because he's totally not able to cut through that if his green beams emitting from his eyes destroyed terrain and killed TDL
@@LuckClover1 if I don't see them locking up TSC and Blue (He was left alone after the fight for some reason) on the next episode he's definitely gonna let loose
@@Eminence. They took only Yellow, because they saw that they can summon Alan's mouse (from the recording). They left everyone else alone, and only printed out Wanted posters for Yellow (until they found out 5 seconds later they were already at their base lol).
At 7:18 you could sense The Chosen One's fear, I feel like he has trauma from being used as a Popup Blocker back in AVA 3, being attached to a chain or rope and being beat up really triggered him. I just can't get over how well they showed that, so cool.
They are harnessing the power of their creators, advancing and getting the tools of the gods attempting to become ones themselves. Great writing, I wonder where it will go next
They're learning how to use Flash in the accursed year of 2023, lol. Did anyone else notice the library and symbol system on the little screen they were tinkering with?
I love how this used to be just a fun project, but then, 17 years later, it went Spider-Verse mode, and turned into a straight up cinematic action series.
If only it didnt take a year to see 15 minutes of content, i would much rather the animation go down in quality so episodes can be released quicker, at this point the serson wont be completed until 2028
Good stuff all around. Love all the little details like how when The Victim stepped into the box, the light made him look more like his original color in the OG Short. His filename being on display to let the audience know that it is the OG Victim from all those years ago. And just all these little details man. Plus the backgrounds drawn and made for this are beautiful. You and your team never cease to impress me Alan. Great work as always. Only mystery I'm curious about now, is how the heck is The Victim even here? At the end of the original short, we saw Alan was going to delete the project file that the Victim was saved in. Course the idea of someone surviving deletion is something that could be explored really well. Like how does one survive having thier exsistence erased, and what would that be like? How horrifying would it be? Could be further fuel to the Victims hatred for Alan (the character) and why he wants revenge even more, alongside what Alan did to him back then. One last thing, and it might not be intentional, but I also like that each villian so far has had an, relatively simple, but unique motivation from eachother. The Dark Lord was purely about destruction from the looks of it. The Orange King was more revenge for his son/grief blinding him to his actions. And The Victim could also be put in the revenge category, but with how his facility runs and how he fights, I wanna say one of his main goals, is complete control of everything. From what I picked up on, at least visually, The Victim in this likes control. From copying the tools used by Alan, to his fighting style, to the way he interrogated The Chosen One, to everything about his facility. The Victim like to have everything under his control and his supervision. This in my mind stems from how Alan treated him back then. Creating him, trying to use him, freezing him in place to toss him aside. The Victim didn't like control being taken away from him. So now he does everything to make sure that never happens again. He wants control. His main goal is obviously revenger, but this could be a secondary objective, to gain the tools and power to make sure he never loses control of anything ever again. At least that's how I see it. Another banger of an episode from the team, looking forward to more as always.
Wow, I didn't think about it like that. victim wanting control. It does make sense. I think he had the worst birth out of all the hallow heads. Not only is he the only one with no powers, he only lived a short 2 minute life where he knew nothing but distress and urgency to defend himself from his torturous creator. He had a rock dropped on him moments after birth that would've been fatal if not for his quick thinking. His name is literally "victim" after all. So I guess now he wants to be the opposite of a victim.
a random theory i thought of about victim not being gone from his deletion, is that his file wasnt overwritten. deletion on computers work by marking the file as allowed to be overwritten, so as long as nothing new shows up, the file is still there. so maybe victim wasnt overwritten by alan so he was still alive?
The reaction of victim after seeing tsc having insane abilities was just cold, and the way they instantly got him in lock down after seeing tsc react made it even better, like they saw how dark lord was defeated by him, im kinda curious if dark lord would come back since its kind of a mystery if he actually gone
@@kris_something Thank you, although for Victim i knew who it referred to, i meant did something happen to him because of the Animator? I might rewatch from the beggining tbh
In the previous episode of AvA VI, I had wondered how Red, Green, and Blue would have their personalities be showcased through their fighting styles. Though there weren't many showcases for that (with most of the focus being on the fight between Victim and TCO as well as the exploration of the extent of TSC's creation abilities), I'm incredibly glad that we managed to get a small showcase of it at the end. In the end sequence, Red struck first while Green took out the most goons; Red is rash, Green is proficient. Even against Glasses, Red still struck first even though neither Red nor Green managed to get any hits in. This does match what I thought for both of them in my first writeup, though I do wish Green could have had at least one actual punch in before getting beat. And earlier, Green remembered the symbol on the hoverbikes and drew it; drawing, great memory, those are the hallmarks of the masterful artist that Green is set up to be. Blue, being the one least willing to really fight of the five, only really spurred on when Yellow was grabbed and both Red and Green were taken down. Also, Blue was the only one of them who were able to actually DODGE one of Glasses' attacks (when Blue jumped over the line tool before getting lassoed), which is actually pretty cool. This shows Blue as a much more defensive fighter, which doesn't often get addressed too much. Between that and the AvM episode The Chef, we're seeing a much more patient Blue, and that's neat. I wonder how Blue's personality-especially the high levels of empathy-will be leveraged in episode 3. But then there's Victim. There wasn't much to say in episode 1 about Victim because there wasn't anything there but the stinger reveal at the end. In THIS, though, the team did an excellent job showcasing just what kind of stick figure Victim is. Even after lowering TCO's abilities by a factor of 10 and Glasses actively removing or reversing TCO's powers and projectiles through the box, Victim still fought in a similar way as TSC and the four. That is, until Victim started taking full advantage of the tools and buffs that the console was giving. Once that 10x speed kicked in, it really did feel like Victim was venting out some frustrations with how brutal that beatdown was. And the use of the tools harkening back to AvA I? That was a fun touch. And all of it was to weaken TCO's morale in order to extract information with the brain device. The most surprisingly, the animation team managed to characterize TCO even MORE. After the slugfest that was TCO vs TDL, it's easy to see TCO as relying on overpowering the enemy. But as episode 1 and ESPECIALLY this episode showed, TCO knows how to change tactics on the fly. Even with abilities actively being neutered, TCO managed to mostly keep up with Victim in hand-to-hand, showing a high level of fighting skill; using the ice to take a small breather and regain bearings before quickly burning through the clones was a strong move that could have given TCO the victory if anyone other than Glasses was controlling the console; and the last move of turning around and using the fact that the fire was being reversed to fire a large blast at Victim anyway was GENIUS, showing that TCO isn't a slouch even when all odds are stacked in the enemy's favor. Victim was SHOOK when that happened; the time slow was easily the one reason why Victim wasn't burnt to a crisp from that. I am incredibly intrigued by this installment I'm already thinking that the combined video will be the length of a feature film, with everything that's still left to tell (and it's already at around 32 minutes with episodes 1 and 2). Between the box, TSC's learning about what happened in AvA V, Yellow getting kidnapped, and the other three being knocked out… I'm so looking forward to what happens in Episode 3 of AvA VI. Thank you, Alan and team, for making such an amazing series.
You know, I've been referring to the main mercenary(?) as Glasses because they have sunglasses. Instead, I could be using the name Shades. That's a much cooler name anyway. So I'll be using Flipnotes, Caveman, Stopsign, and Shades to refer to the four mercenaries(?) until either the official names are revealed or more interesting names are given by the community.
After revisiting this episode, I realized that The Chosen One purposely smashed his head against the ground to prevent Victim from knowing where Alan was at when he attached the memory scanner onto The Chosen One
Not even mentioning the quality of this animation, the fact that you all REDREW the last battle FROM THE CHOSEN ONE'S PERSPECTIVE is insane. Hats of to you and your team, you all deserve so much respect.
It's crazy to think TCO would've been just like Victim if Alan decided to name him something else all those years back. Can't believe he just pops up after 16 years and is out for blood for what Alan did to him, the story is literally stretching across decades now. I don't know how much of this was planned...but it's amazing.
@@Digital_Butterfly (First of all, I apologize if my English is bad, I wrote it from a translation, I do not know your language.) When Alan made AVA 1 for the first time, he didn't think of making it a series, but people liked it so much and they kept telling me to make the 2nd one, so he said that he would then make 2 and 3 and the third one would be the finale. But the audience did not stop again and constantly asked for 4, and after 3 years, Alan did not break the audience again and released AVA 4, and when this was watched much more than the other 3, Alan wanted to make it a real series and AVM came out, AVYotube came out and AVM Shorts and AVA Shorts came along. I mean, 17 years ago even Alan never thought he'd do this
Yeah, there's no way he planned all this out from the start. He did something even more impressive: took a little standalone joke about a stickfigure fighting a cursor and turned it into the foundation of a multipart revenge saga. And even more impressive? From the little details Alan's added here and there, you can see that all the cruelty the Victim is inflicting on the rest of the gang is just a reflection of the traumatic battle he fought long ago.
Seeing a widely-loved, powerful character getting the crap beaten out of them will never not be upsetting, but this was done really well. Alan's brought up the fact that Victim isn't strong the same way Dark or Mango were, just plays dirty. Even then Chosen almost won their fight several times. It'll make it all gang's victory more satisfying when it happens.
@@real_abenderit's just a short name for them but for full detail of their name; They can be called The Chosen One/TCO, The Dark Lord/TDL, and The Second Coming/TSC for people to not get confused at with their names and appearance in the series.
One small detail I noticed: at 9:29 you can see a graph in the background which contains a set of waves coming from a circle, the points on said circle match the ones that were created by TSC during Animation vs Math, potentially hinting that it took place during the current events happening right now.
This is absolutely amazing,I cannot even start to express how incredible this series is and how far it has come,I'm so happy indie web animation is still alive and it's getting the recognition it deserves
and then wait another year for another 15 minutes episode, would much rather lower quality animation so i can actually see the full series before im dead
Gotta love how as OP victim might be inside the box, it all probably means nothing outside it and he knows it. the only reason he was able to overpower chosen (or TCO, however you like it) was because he was inside of that box and they took chosen's power away and made him practically unbeatable, and still then chosen was able to put up a fight. I think victim is such a cool character to analyse more profundly, and i'm really curious to know how he managed to survive being deleted. I also wonder if he'll be a redeemable villian like chosen or king orange, or if he'll be pure unredeemable evil like TDL (the dark lord). I'm kinda feeling more unreedemable enrgy from this one, what do you guys think?
I see the victim as a far more despicable worse monster than the dark lord. because unlike the dark lord he is not designed to be evil he purposely chose to inflicted harm on his creator's other creations because he jealous or spiteful. I don't think he will be redemption for the victim even if his name states overwise.
@@emailzack2177 well, to be fair, alan did delete them first… poor guy was stuck in wherever unsaved projects go for 17 years. if i were them i would have gone insane too
I see much debate on how Victim survived deletion. I read the subtitles on the original Victim animation (Alan's first animation) . Victim: "We can't die... SO YOU SHOULD!" Interesting....
@@Red_MOON187 Are those official subtitles tho? Or are they from the time when community captions were a thing? if they are they could be making reference to future episodes, like how stick figures like red, green, yellow and blue have this sort of spawn-point where they can respawn in case they die (i wonder if it's like a kind of Wreck it Ralph situation were it only works if they're in their own PC, but that's a question for another time), or how the hollow heads (victim, TCO, TDL, TSC) all seem to be pretty indestructible. The thing is that victim, although probably really smart, wasn't really given a special name that granted him any sort of power like TCO and TDL, and as we can see in this episode he probably isn't all that powerful outside of the box and his fighting skills are pretty basic, so it's not like with TSC either, who wasn't really given a name directly by alan but is still extremely powerful and skillful. I doubt the way he survived was like an AvA III situation where he managed to escape, since he didn't really have the chance to. idk man this whole story is so amazing i can't wait for more
So you know the weapons that Victim makes for himself while he was fighting (the sword, hammer, shuriken etc), well those are the same weapons Victim makes for himself in the very first Animation vs Animator! Honestly the attention to detail put into these videos is insane, incredible work Alan!
I was wondering why those particular weapons were what he chose. Then I realized the shape of the ninja star, the chain frame icons, and the hammer shape were all too familiar. So good!
I love how this series has no voice actor or whatsoever and literally anyone from any other countries can watch this without worrying if they can understand it (on their own perspective language) or not is just straight up good and I'm so excited about this series hope to see more in the future goodluck and keep up the good work and don't forget to rest!!!
I bet TCO got some major PTSD from having that restraint on him… It’s probably the reason why he just fully froze himself instead of letting himself continue to get manipulated. This was a fantastic episode, and the reveal that this was in fact the “Victim” character from the very beginning was incredible! I am patiently impatiently waiting for the next episode! Keep up the fantastic work!
Agreed - and if you rewatch AvA 3, even having their powers controlled would have triggered the PTSD as well. I love how Alan’s sticks have this much character development and consistency
Ngl alan had me feeling bad for TCO because he animated him in pain so humanlike, it was way better than most animations where they try to make you feel bad with a character getting hurt especially because there was no fake ahh screaming
the rope being used on TCO like a whip when he was in his most vulnerable state was horrifying, like.. genuinely horrifying. somehow, i felt sick to my stomach, victim doesn’t have the crazy powers like TCO, TDL and TSC does, but that cruelty😭
I just realized that the moment the memory scanner's signal was cut off was only when TCO was leaving Alan's computer. If TCO hadn't hit his head, victim would have known how to get to Alan.
Worth noting too that when TCO escaped to Alan's PC the whole sky was covered in his self-made clouds so the mercs have little way to know where he went
And more interesting, we are also not shown what he did after they defeated Dark Lord and how he was found as a victim, also I don't know if it's me but I had never seen that chosen one had ice powers so it would be interesting if they made a chapter about it. What happened to him all that time?
Now that I think about it, it's kinda unrelated but, does TCO feel the heat of his fire? In some scenes of different episodes, we see him on fire ( i think? I cant remember. ), not reacting to the heat, but in this episode, the fire is reversed and he falls back, maybe he was shocked at the fact that his power just backfired on him or he got a little burnt from his flame. Who knows?
I love how well Victim acts the part of the victim. He acts like he's the only stick Alan ever hurt and nobody can understand, and his search for revenge means that anything he does is justified. Anybody who stands in his way for any reason--- even The Chosen One--- is the enemy and must be destroyed. He even uses TCO's trauma against him! This is crazy stuff and I love how well Alan and his team convey emotions and concepts so well with literal stick figures. Literal faceless stick figures. I'm freaking for AVA 11, guys.
Here is finally the comment I was looking for There is already a character who understands every stickman. King and Purple understand and love each other, even though they suffered, they managed to overcome it thanks to each other because unity is strength. Even though TCO and TDL are enemies now, they were once friends and they understood each other because they were both bullied by Alan and they became a team. TSC and its team have had a close friendship from the very beginning, and this friendship is so strong that it enables TSC's green power to be revealed. However, there is no one who understands Victim in this regard. Mercenaries and gray full-headed garbage men are not with the victim because they love him, they are only with him for his money, they do not care about him, it is only a relationship of interest. and the victim is not really loved, so he wants revenge on Alan, who is the real reason for all this. At least, even if he is not loved, if he defeats Alan, he can fill the void of lovelessness inside him with this.
@Vodella Victim is gray in every episode but the first one to differentiate him from TCO, who was also originally black. TCO got more screen time, which is probably why Alan shifted Victim’s color slightly in these later episodes.
Alan’s team really worked well on this, you can see all of the stick figures on the ending, red is the hot head and didn’t surrender, green surrendered but was still very aggressive, yellow helped his friends later, but blue just stood there. They really bring in their personality
Cariacturesca...
Notes: victim isn't beating up on Black for its own sake but to soften him up before interrogation so he won't resist as much. It doesn't make it any less evil of course but victims Main priority is to get to Alan. The backgrounds were so immersive that I didn't even notice them the first watch through... very impressive effect for something that probably took a very long time to make without AI I'm just guessing- it doesn't have that slimy AI feel to it. I also couldn't tell if victim still had the old style of Flash animation affect going on. The other agents motives for supporting victim's Vendetta might be that they themselves have been victimized or feel abandoned/forgotten by their creators. The flip note guy could fall into that category because of how the program was discontinued everywhere except Japan and how many people felt betrayed who had grown attached to it. The cave drawing Hunter could just feel abandoned, left alone for thousands of years, and the "man" icon could be tired of being used everywhere and generally feel unappreciated. As for the head agent maybe he is the early 2000s stick animation golden age from one of those websites that are no longer popular. The whole story is starting to close in on the nature of the relationship between the animator and the animation, focusing on how the eel reacted to being erased and how these characters feel about the animators and how they are being used. So somehow orange is going to have to convert their thinking using the fact that he also is an animator. Good stuff. Will be rewatching about 50 times hence.
This episode has brought my adrenaline up more than it should have. I'm shaking right now. Just how they tortured The Chosen One makes my heart sink. He's gonna have some trauma about that being tied up so hard by the neck. For TSC, he finally learns, that he possesses powers, greater than any other stick figure made by Alan, and now is under lockdown till they realize what's going on, what makes me worry though, is the fact that he's now alone with his own thoughts, his brain trying to understand if what he saw is real or not. The Fighting Stick Figures seem to have a lot of trouble now, and Victim, oh Victim, he holds great despise for his own creator after all these years, so much that he went hunting for 17 years to find the perfect opportunity to strike, and here it was. Can i wait another half a year for the next episode? It'll be hard, but i know it'll be worth it.
That last sentence you put is exactly what I'm thinking! The beginning of this "Episode" of multiple Short Clips, Part 1 gave me interest, irritation for wait time & Minecraft stuff in between, and now a sudden "OMG, AMAZING... I DONT WANT TO WAIT THAT LONG AGAIN FOR SUCH A HUGE CLIFFHANGER!! 😱😱😱"
Hey!Great comment, you really said everything that had to be said, Quick question, I didn't understand the point of the torture for TCO ?? They didn't ask him first anything, didn't even said anything when we see him in the white cube room, Victim just started fighting him, why ? TCO hasn't done anything to him, neither did the other figures, so why is he so violent towards them, in particular towards TCO ?
Alan shared a sneak peak with his subscribers via gmail today and in the next episode of AVA There was a village setting with lambs also in the new episode 1.Purple's origin history 2.Meeting the Mercenaries 3.Victim builds a chicken coop (this should probably be the victim's past origin story) Alan asked us to find the correct one out of these 3 options, 2 of which are wrong and 1 is right
It's always a treat to see Alan's lore build and grow so creatively! He's bringing back legacy characters we didn't even know were legacy characters until now!
@@nazomius7033i jokingly thought to myself "wow so intimate, is there some bromance going on?" so it's amusing to see someone else comment about it. in any case, i don't see what's bad about it; i mean there has quite literally been a romantic subplot in the minecraft vs animation series so there's nothing taboo about relationships between stick figures. the fact that you felt the need to draw attention to it presumably because you think these stick figures are male is extremely childish. it's fans' perogrative to interpret media how they wish, and they cause harm to no-one in doing so. i may not personally agree with a fan's intepretation but it doesn't mean that i'll go and lambast them for it (unless it's particularly heinous, but this is anything but that). these are fictional *stick figures*, grow up.
@nazomius7033 Are you actually complaining about something that won't even hurt you ? Some characters from some series should never be shipped, cuz they don't fit, but that is just complaining for the sake of complaining.
My surprise is to the idea that they locked him down so hard when he hadn’t even remotely done anything to warrant an escape. Because if he could have already, he would have.
@@WhatsJamesName Because The Second Coming did not know that he did that, he doesn't remember. After realising that he COULD do that they locked him in harder.
@@WhatsJamesName TSC does not know that he has powers in him. If you go back to that episode TSC gets confused why The Chosen One fell to his knees and bowed.
@@Mina265 I’m not sure how to put this but here goes It’s not that I’m saying that if he knew he had his powers, I’m saying that they’d have already been destroyed if he knew, thus, if he could have, he would have already broken out. But since he hasn’t actually done it yet, despite learning about those powers, he shouldn’t have been locked down.
@@WhatsJamesNameIt's extra caution, I mean if I had someone contained in a cell and they hadn't done anything yet but then saw that they had the power to absolutely obliterate me I'm pretty sure I'm within the right to lock them down more than I already have It doesn't matter if he hasn't tried to escape or even show any potential in using the abilities they saw, it's the fact they are aware he's potentially a much bigger threat than they thought which warrants an extra level of caution with him
One of the more underrated elements here is how the 3D movements of these stick figures are entirely comprehensible despite them almost never having shading and most of the main cast not having any features that distinguish their front and back.
Something at least I noticed whenever you view the stick figures from behind at certain angles you can see where the spine meets the head, which is helpful to tell. but 90% of the time whenever you notice that its easy to tell they're not facing forward anyhow but regardless thought I'd share that if it helped.
One thing I haven't seen commented about before is that victim's fight with Chosen isn't just about getting information. It's about *beating him.* It's about taking the most powerful stick victim knows of and overpowering him, reducing him to a powerless plaything that can't fight properly back. It's about humiliating him. It's about concurring him. It's about proving that victim, poor little powerless victim, is stronger than The Chosen One. It's about his ego. It's also possibly about victim's envy, too. Envy for Chosen's powers, his naturally superior strength. An envy likely born from victim's own self hatred for his name. His name is an embodiment of his own weakness, his own fallibility, his own inferiority. It's literally a brand of his own victimization. So he compensates. He compensates, and he drags Chosen down to his level, while elevating himself, to take out his bitter hatred and aggression on Chosen. Chosen could be seen as an extension of the Animator, in victim's eyes. A stronger being who he feels will only ever look down on him. And he cannot stand that. victim is ruthless because he has something to prove. victim is ruthless because the entire point is to beat Chosen down and make him *submit.* Because there was no point to the fight otherwise. victim could have put the memory reader on Chosen at any point. It wasn't necessary, but victim did it anyway. Because victim wanted to beat Chosen. Wanted to overpower him. To defeat him. That's why victim is so visibly angry when Agent slows the backwards fire blast to save him. He knows that Chosen would have won if Agent hadn't done so. The loss enrages and embitters victim to being even more cruel. He craves power and control to compensate for his shortcomings, both real and self perceived. And he craves to do the exact same thing he did to Chosen to the Animator. Strip him of power, and dominate him. God I love it.
dude this is why i love this series so much, you put it into words about why this episode is amazing. not only the fighting scenes but the small details in body language and the reasoning behind all the characters actions. as well, these dudes are stuck figures! they have better characterisation than most popular shows or movies I’ve seen
Actually the reason why Victim is so cruel is because Alan gave him this name, made fun of him and then threw him away when he was done so the victim is jealous of those who are stronger, so in this case he must hate TSC too he is jealous of what others have that he doesn't have but I think Victim is still a better character than TDL because he is not pure evil
The whole TCO gets overwhelmed that he succumbs to defeat scene was really heartwrenching!! Bro is literally a demigod (if not a god) but got defeated in an unfair fight is just a straight up mockery to him. Well done, Alan and team!! Without a word, you've made me speechless. Keep going
9:06 he was still actively learning during the fight. TCO realized they always redirected he flames backwards, so he purposefully whiffed his punch to then turn around so they’d blow backwards again. He might’ve won had the fight continued longer….
But at least we can comfortably know that that victory was 100% because of the Admin (No I don't know if sunglasses has a name, I'm just calling him Admit because it fits his look and powers). 15 times speed, super physical strength, multiple clones, and Victim still almost got his butt handed to him if not for Admin intervening.
@@followeroftheprinceThe Chosen one also had 10% PWR and the rest of his values on the screen were nerfed while Victim values were buffed, a buffed Victim vs nerfed TCO who can’t even use his powers to attack
And the fact that everything is clear without words and facial expressions!! This fact amazes me!! (if something was written incorrectly, don't get angry, I don't know English well, since I'm Russian)
Came back to rewatch this and I just realized something: We have now seen all 4 of Alan’s stickmen show back up in the main series. Each one has become more powerful, and more colorful, than the last. Victim is the first and weakest, he’s also a dull grey (originally black but I assume age since he’s the oldest), TCO is the second and is weaker than the other two with only generic superpowers, TDL was made not long after TCO and is only slightly stronger until his upgrade with very similar abilities but more options than TCO; also is a vibrant red, and now Orange with the most varied Arsenal and color scheme is the most powerful of the bunch. It’s almost as though the better Alan gets at animating the more powerful his creations become.
The fact that they went through The Chosen Ones memories and found TSC going super is insane! He doesn't even remember doing that and he looked shocked to see it himself. I just hope that they won't torture him to get him to return to that state Overall it's a very good episode and I'll gladly watch it a thousand times over! Thank you Alan for this absolute masterpiece ❤❤
NOOOOOO!!! ... oigan.... Que pasaría si se llevan a sus amigos y les hacen _eso_ justo en frente de TS para así activar sus poderes???... Nooooo... Se solo imaginarlo siento que me voy a morir, ahora odio a Victim
9:01 HE LIVES UP TO HIS NAMEEEEE I love this scene dude. He's tied, strangling, struggling, yet he could still form a plan. After his powers keep backfiring and backfiring and backfiring... he used that to his advantage. He turned his _back_ and _fired._ Makes you wonder what would happen if Agent Smith wasn't there, would Victim had survived? He wasn't _just_ powerful, he was smart af.
It’s sad to thing that TCO hasn’t really been free to be himself, always on the run. But what’s really cool is that he was also defending Alan even though he could have just sold him out, he had every reason to do so.
I think it’s because he had respect for TSC and his friends, since they were all close and he could tell, in that fight, how much they cared about each other. I mean hell, TSC unleashed godly power for vengeance for his friends. Gotta respect that if you’re witnessing it firsthand
@@WhatsJamesName Nah even before that, TCO has mutual respect with Alan before when he appeared on his PC to kill the virabot. Just about when he was about to leave back to fight TDL, he and Alan shared a nod to each other. Maybe TCO didn't completely forgive Alan but he certainly let go of his grudge.
I think he's just aware that Alan is different now, he's changed and become a much better person to his stick figures and it shows with the main group he definitely likely doesn't forgive or much like Alan at this current moment but he's at least acknowledged that he isn't bad anymore and thus doesn't exactly deserve the trouble of whatever victim is trying to achieve
I love how each mini scene on each of the computer screens in the lab shows a completely different perspective of the fight. Showing the fight from that character’s perspective. It shows just how much effort went into making this episode
7:55 if you pay close enough attention, you might notice that Victim is using the same weapons he did all the way back in Animator Vs Animation (Original)
One of the oldest video i watched on youtube and still being referenced to this day with cleaner animation, great music, and storytelling, alan is a genius :D
I just really love how you put so much detail on making each of the stick figures personality. Like in the end where the gang just arrived, Red reacts first and attacks aggresivesly when he see the crew and Agen Smith coming. While Green reacts after Red, I love to think that Green was trying to observe the situation first but after Red got kick he immediately stands up to fight too. But even with this two being aggresive, Yellow and Blue reacts the slowest. And what I especially love is the Blue's passive aggresive personality, because he is the first one to surrend without any fighting, but then he became aggresive to save his friends.

👏
It's also very much worth noting when he caused the memory reader to disconnect. What looked to Victim like just normal struggling completely skipped past the exact thing that Victim was looking for: how to find Alan
He's very intelligent, and determined damn
The weirdos name is victim. Victim is a stick figure that Alan made
the amnesia part made me laugh XD This is awesome doe! Gud analysys :D
TCO and TDL
King - Purple
TSC - Fighting Stick Figure 4
Alan Becker - TSC
victim - ?
The victim is the only character in this series who lives without love, so this is one of the reasons why he is so vengeful and merciless that he doesn't show mercy to whip TCO.
Mercenaries are there for the victim's money, so are the hard-working gray workers
everyone is just there for the victim's money or maybe because they're scary
Awesome analysis! Though to be fair to Alan, The Chosen One was only enslaved because he immediately tried to destroy Alan's computer the moment he was created. My guy was NOT stable minded back in the day, lol.

Victim's grey workers have the same body shape as Orange's friends but uniquely, move with bendy limbs.
I'm imagining a scene in my head where he manifests/spawns Agent in a blank space and names him: "Officer" or something while the greys are named "Worker"
So its possible Agent has been with Victim before his Company was even established.

The idea of TSC's drawings being sentient is kinda scary. The way the eel shows immediate distress at the thought of being erased and immediatly attempts escape was the highlight of this episode.

Also how you can see Yellow’s cautiousness and how it disappears the moment Green and Red are knocked down. The attention to detail is amazing

The first weapon Alan uses on the victim in the first episode is a rope/whip thing.

victim isnt aware of TDL so probably 3 instead of 4
its funny, i always had the blind assumption that any stick figure was capable of bringing art to life if they simply had an interest in art.
"The Second Coming of the Creator"
That would explain why TSC has the power to create life, because Alan did too through the stickmen. When a character in art is given the powers of the creator who made them, that's when it REALLY starts to break the fourth wall, and they become a god.
Whether i'm right or wrong, still really curious to see how TSC's powers will develop
In AvA 4, TSC is explicitly called "The Chosen One's return"

I just JUST realized, a year later who the gray guy in the box is, im sure most people already realized but if you look at 7:49 you can see the obj name is "victim" the first stick man Alan created all the way back in episode 1.
For a long time after the video came out I refused to perceive him as a Victim, but my friend made me admit that this is my little beloved dead Victim😭
(I wrote through a translator, I apologize)
so that's proof!!!
We also see The Chosen One stats didn't go all the way up, meaning that he still has a potential to be stronger than TSC.
This could mean that the Victim will not just try to destroy the cursor, but will also try to drain TSC, drain his powers and use them against Alan
why victim whipping a black stickmin tho🤨

Interesting how Victim doesn’t seem to have any powers of his own, instead relying on the technology of the box to give him an edge against TCO.
He seems like the kind of villain who props himself up with the crazy animator tech and skilled mercenaries he has at his disposal, but he’s really just hiding behind all of them because he has nothing on his own.
Well, he was made to be the victim. He decided to 'write' his own fate and get revenge. tbh, even though he's the new villain in the story, i can understand where victim is coming from. Dude was basicly bullied and tortured when he got made. All for someone elses fun.
Well, it's logical considering he is the weakest in terms of Stickman's power level.
That's right, poor Victim wasn't even given power. Other than the head and feet, they are no different from Full Heads in terms of power level.

And we can see that TCO, while a bit extreme has ultimately had a change of heart.)
...That was a pretty long tangent, the point is: I think your vision aligns pretty well with everything, and it might just be the actual answer.
he just wasn't given any. In the first all he had was himself, the tools of old Adobe and maybe some clones of himself to fight with
I notice how TCO is too good to be a villain despite how strong he is, leads to the reason why he was easily to be tortuned.
Also, you can't tell me he held back against Virabot or the Dark Lord with how viciously aggressive he was.
you can clearly see TCO holding back here 5:15
At first he didnt even throwing fist, because Victim was too weak. TCO just looked at Victim and decided to pushed him back. The entire screen later was just TCO trying to defend himself, not a single will of fighting, until he was so push to finally punch back one-single-fist (and it missed, a fist that didnt even look strong) - 6:12
Notice how the entire time, despite the fact that TCO knows something was assisted Victim and he himself was in the disadvantaged side but still didnt use any of his power? (Fire/ice) Because he knows if he uses his gifted power, Victim may just blowned in a second.
Oh sorry, he did use his power lmao, but it doesnt look scary or at least have any kill-intention to me, just some fire-ball of self-defend when he knew he was in danger when fighting fist to fist - 6:30.
As you can see - 8:20 - this is when he ACTUALLY used his power to fight, not throwing some fire ball for self-defend

Only when Victim used his weapon, did TCO decided to use his powers too - 7:00
TCO clearly wasnt trying to fight-to-win here, he self-defend. He only uses power as equal as his opponent. If TCO used his full power since the start, Victim could be dead right after entering that room before Victim could even enhance himself.

Guess Alan protecting him during the fight with TDL left a good impression.
and the idiots didnt found out after all LOL
It was also a way to not have to interpret a 2d world in 3d because that would be almost impossible

Originally this was just me calling victim a fraud because it's funny (and true), but since this series relies so heavily on body language to convey any sort of emotion in the characters, it meant I had to actually look at it and think about it, and once I was there, I ended up wondering "why not put some actual thought in?"
I imagine in the next few episodes, we'll get some real meat to compare and contrast victim and King as well, as antagonists principally motivated by a grudge, though I reckon victim's grudge is going to be far harder to reckon with than King's.
"victim hasn't escaped at all"
probably the most depressing theory ever. and the most convinient, if alan hasn't already thought up a theory
This is an incredibly cool analysis. I'm a member, and I'm gonna share this to Alan :p I'm sure everyone there will love this
The fact that you can see victim use the things in the 1st animation vs animator is insane of the details alan made
As an 2D animaton Colledge student. It brings me great joy seeing him use all the animation tools such as the lasso, opacity, selector, pencil, line thickness, freeze, and so many more to be cleverly be used in the story. I hope to get as good as Alan beaker and his team one day.

@@CertifiedWaltuh i think the purpose of the lasso is to create a certain spot that u want to erase or move that certain spot to anywhere u like

I can say that Victim is going too far, but I don't think there is any harm in him doing this because when he comes back after 17 years and becomes a stickman whose color has changed and who has not inherited a single special power, it is quite logical that Victim is at such an insane level of psychology that it is very normal for him to want revenge from Alan. because he erased it and threw it in a corner
which one is victim is it the grey one
@@themainejermaine yes
@@themainejermaine yes the victim used to be black 17 years ago but in AVA 6 Wanted and The Box it became gray to be distinguishable with TCO
I also liked the detail of how the Chosen One was afraid of the Victim’s whip.
Though where did this facility that answers to his every command come from?

Yeah, you're right, and the fact that the workers realized that he could destroy the entire facility if he were to go full power shows that maybe Chosen One isn't the strongest to them anymore, oh but lock TSC in a damn iron box to "avoid" him destroying it, because he's totally not able to cut through that if his green beams emitting from his eyes destroyed terrain and killed TDL

Wait when is Victim’s filename shown?
7:50
In the symbols column
Cool essay dude.
The reaction of victim after seeing tsc having insane abilities was just cold, and the way they instantly got him in lock down after seeing tsc react made it even better, like they saw how dark lord was defeated by him, im kinda curious if dark lord would come back since its kind of a mystery if he actually gone
I think dark lord might’ve died. I can’t be sure, but you’d think victim would be on to him too like he was with TCO, but he’s nowhere to be seen.
Maybe. To be fair, Alan hasn't decided whether Dark is alive or was freaking annihilated by Second's Nuke Beam.

I doubt the way he survived was like an AvA III situation where he managed to escape, since he didn't really have the chance to. idk man this whole story is so amazing i can't wait for more
I know he draws stick figures, but can we appreciate how pretty the backgrounds are???

@@llllavemderall I know is that Alan and king orange never use a whip
@@yoda5668 they never used a whip, but the sounds of the rope snapping through the air scared me regardless
I just realized that the moment the memory scanner's signal was cut off was only when TCO was leaving Alan's computer.
If TCO hadn't hit his head, victim would have known how to get to Alan.
Hey you're right! That didn't even cross my mind
OH MY GOODNESS- THANK YOU
HOW MANY LAYERS ARE THERE?!!
Who knows?
Maybe TCO's powers have weakened and now immunity to fire has decreased
I love how well Victim acts the part of the victim. He acts like he's the only stick Alan ever hurt and nobody can understand, and his search for revenge means that anything he does is justified. Anybody who stands in his way for any reason--- even The Chosen One--- is the enemy and must be destroyed. He even uses TCO's trauma against him! This is crazy stuff and I love how well Alan and his team convey emotions and concepts so well with literal stick figures. Literal faceless stick figures.
I'm freaking for AVA 11, guys.
Here is finally the comment I was looking for
There is already a character who understands every stickman.
To be fair, Victim left alans computer, So he most likely doesn't know about Chosen's Trauma
isn't the victim black?
@Vodella Victim is gray in every episode but the first one to differentiate him from TCO, who was also originally black. TCO got more screen time, which is probably why Alan shifted Victim’s color slightly in these later episodes.
@@FigmentedImagination-b6e was its color changed to differentiate between the victim and the TCO?
Alan’s team really worked well on this, you can see all of the stick figures on the ending, red is the hot head and didn’t surrender, green surrendered but was still very aggressive, yellow helped his friends later, but blue just stood there. They really bring in their personality
Blue did hesitate, but he also did try to fight but the glasses agent just whooped 'em like that

@@-victim.oh hi victim how’s your work doing?
Has your plans for capturing yellow been successful yet?
@@masonsholymolyvideos8897 as you can see, yellow have been captured by the head mercenary. So yes, the plan succeeded.
Wow, that’s a great theory on the mercenaries! I wouldn’t be surprised at all if it’s canon.
that's legitimately a good theory wow
Black=The Chosen One btw
But if he just wanted TCO to not fight back, couldn't he have just left him paused? Or does the memory scanner need a conscious person?
Hey that's actually pretty good theory.
Wait.
You're here too?!

It's always a treat to see Alan's lore build and grow so creatively! He's bringing back legacy characters we didn't even know were legacy characters until now!
It’s too bad that now ppl will ship TCO and victim
@@nazomius7033 Well alrighty
Some characters from some series should never be shipped, cuz they don't fit, but that is just complaining for the sake of complaining.
what do you mean "legacy characters we didn't even know were legacy characters"? have we presumably seen them before?
I love how just immediately after everyone learns who the second coming is and what he’s capable of they just immediately put him on hard lockdown
@@Mina265 I’m not sure how to put this but here goes
It’s not that I’m saying that if he knew he had his powers, I’m saying that they’d have already been destroyed if he knew, thus, if he could have, he would have already broken out.
But since he hasn’t actually done it yet, despite learning about those powers, he shouldn’t have been locked down.
@@WhatsJamesNameIt's extra caution, I mean if I had someone contained in a cell and they hadn't done anything yet but then saw that they had the power to absolutely obliterate me I'm pretty sure I'm within the right to lock them down more than I already have
It doesn't matter if he hasn't tried to escape or even show any potential in using the abilities they saw, it's the fact they are aware he's potentially a much bigger threat than they thought
which warrants an extra level of caution with him
One of the more underrated elements here is how the 3D movements of these stick figures are entirely comprehensible despite them almost never having shading and most of the main cast not having any features that distinguish their front and back.
Something at least I noticed whenever you view the stick figures from behind at certain angles you can see where the spine meets the head, which is helpful to tell. but 90% of the time whenever you notice that its easy to tell they're not facing forward anyhow but regardless thought I'd share that if it helped.
I only just realized that Victim uses the weapons they use in the first AvA episode when fighting TCO, that is so cool
One thing I haven't seen commented about before is that victim's fight with Chosen isn't just about getting information.
It's about *beating him.*
It's about taking the most powerful stick victim knows of and overpowering him, reducing him to a powerless plaything that can't fight properly back.
And he cannot stand that.
victim is ruthless because he has something to prove. victim is ruthless because the entire point is to beat Chosen down and make him *submit.*
Because there was no point to the fight otherwise. victim could have put the memory reader on Chosen at any point.
Actually the reason why Victim is so cruel is because Alan gave him this name, made fun of him and then threw him away when he was done
so the victim is jealous of those who are stronger, so in this case he must hate TSC too
he is jealous of what others have that he doesn't have
but I think Victim is still a better character than TDL because he is not pure evil

Came back to rewatch this and I just realized something:
We have now seen all 4 of Alan’s stickmen show back up in the main series.
