I love seeing non Irish playing the Uileann pipes... They have no choice but to embrace our music and inevitably fall in love with it. That means our culture will never die and i get to enjoy it on youtube
How do you know he is not Irish? He might have an Irish ancestor. It just takes 3 generations to change skin color/race/cultural identity. ruclips.net/video/JIUK2KSbvvI/видео.html
@@Skitdora2010 On what do you base you daft claim that "It just takes 3 generations to change skin color/race/cultural identity"? Race is a concept which has NO biological basis for humans. We are a single species, with an incredibly small range of genetic diversity. As for culture, people change that every day. Cultures change every day. Because people change, and change their culture. They always have done so.

my friend, the Uillean pipes are an integral and ancient Irish instrument, and it truly brought me such intense joy to see a musician from a while other part of the world exhibiting such a masterful talent and sharing our love of the Uillean ❤ youve absolutely made my day, my friend.😊
The uilleann pipes tones and vibrations are hauntingly beautiful but you sir take them beyond that with your skills and understanding of the instrument enhancing the music to perfection. I remember during a Davy Spillane concert I was at saying to my wife "his pipes must be worth a fortune" She wisely retorted "Yes but his hands are priceless". Take care of those hands.
Wow, my Dad played the Uileann pipes and his father actually made them for him as he was at the time fishing rod maker in Cork in the 30's - my Dad died nearly a year ago at the age of 94 and i have always said i would love to get his pipes fixed up and learn to play them - this inspires me massively thank you Rivelino Ismaya for sharing - you have made my year!
I share a similar story my friend. you have my heartfelt support. my Grandfather, whom I loved dearly, died quite young, in his late 60s, at home in Ireland, and he always tried to teach me how to play his beloved accordion. I was only a young teenager when he passed, and never had the love of our music at that point in my life, but as I've grown older, I have developed such a thirst for making music that I learned several other instruments, but whenever I take that old accordion out and dust off the bellows, I can smell my grandfather strongly, as though his spirit is resting in the bowels of his old accordion and he comes out to sit beside me whenever I play his old beaten up button accordion...😢 If we don't continue these traditions and pass on these skills, then we'll lose them. Let's do it brother. let's master these instruments. ❤
Back when Eric Riglar composed this piece he was my bagpipe instructor. It is so strange to hear this in a random RUclips video today, considering it was so long ago and a thousand worlds away now. Good job my friend and keep up the hard work you are amazing!
This is the one instrument that is beyond beginners, price wise, me included, I can hold my own on guitar, banjo. Mandolin. I dont know there is just something about the "nhaa". If your ever in Northwest Ireland please do look me up. Plenty of room
The uilleann pipes have no boundaries or where they are played , thank you, they are the angels voice:::)) You have brought Liam O'flynn back to life in your playing:::)))
I really enjoyed this. Very well played and just the right amount of trill, most overdue it, but you have it just right here.. It was really enjoyable to listen to.
Well done sir! This is one of the most EPIC versions of this tune. You definitely did the song justice in absolutely every way! Keep up the great work, and thank you for your contribution to this phenomenal piece of music!
Hi, sorry didn't notice the question! @MattShaggs is correct, it's a 3/4 set, and the price is around that too. You can go to uilleannobsession.com and check classifieds part to get the gist of the price.
This is so beautiful, i cant keep my tears from falling, i have been sad for so long, and i feel so lonely, the sound of the uilleann pipes enters my soul and release the pain inside. You deserve beautiful things in your life because you share this this mágica sounds with the people.
I have one from Riverdance 1995 the original show where This was played to a completely different song and it nearly broke me in half just listening to it. It went from haunting to gripping to highlight then low and then it inspirationally bought me up. David Spillane. Few things in my life have bought me such joy.
I hear this guy playing this on loop while I’m sleeping. Boyoboy best night sleep ever .

Used to listen to this song on repeat to sleep through the sounds of drunken fighting
Outstanding piece of music on the pipes
Excellent execution. This musical instrument has a sound that goes straight to the heart.
How much can a Uillean Pipes kit like yours cost?
Looks like either a half set with an added key drone OR a 3/4 set...but either way, $3k to $7k depending on the maker. Full sets can approach $10k!

Davy Spillane haunting, gripping, inspirational release. The bag from 1995 Riverdance.
So good it sounds EXACTLY like the movie pipes
At least they got closer to the type of pipe
This is the type of pipes played. Eric Rigler is the piper in James Horner's music.
Awesome music
WOW, what a champ! Such determination and patience!
That is amazing, I'd love to be able to play this instrument. Thanks for sharing. 👍
