What an absolute madlad
Congrats man. You know you are in the right direction when you can afford a 1k+ keyboard
Yeahhhhh I was gonna say. He’s definitely spending Austin’s money for this. Lol
Definitely not hating though. I’d spend Austin’s money too if I could. Lol
@@marshallbradshaw5315 if I got my hands on austins money I don't think he would have a bank account anymore
Missed opportunity to use the Tecsee Metal Coated Switches to make this board even more expensive and add even more metal to it.
Great combination !
Men you time lapsed the best part of the build darn it! We need a full length unedited version of this PC. I wanna learn about building keyboards and see something interesting. Linus Tech Tips would've shown the full build or at least part of it.
thats a really nice video!
I picked up a Cyberboard R2 (the "Terminal" edition) and its been my go to board since the first day I got it, love the looks and feel of the board (I use NK Silk Switches in mine) and having the screen on the back lets me change it weekly to give it a different look. Love the board, great video
Nice!!!! Wikki here and I Have both Cyberboard and Hatsu. I switch between my black R2 and my Psychedelic the most. I am guilty in that I have a review unit and outside of a limited early review, the 65less just never did it for me. Big sadge. The Cyberboard is quite possibly perfect.
looks sick
My condolences to the studio folk. It took me 2 minutes to despise the sound of the keyboard, can't imagine what the studio folk is going to go through.
But I do like the keycap legend and colour combo.
I built a tofu65 with alumizu, love it. You have to use long pole switches because the keycaps have interference
I’m actually thinking about making the same keyboard
You spent more on the switches alone than I have on my entire keyboard.
Oooh I can hear the ping clear as a day, my friend. Idk is that the switch or the case or combination with the keycaps. But it does look GOOD
im just here enjoying my all plastic razer ultimate blackwidow 2013 :> i can only imagine what an all metal keyboard would feel like
Got a chance to try out this board from a friend who picked it up aftermarket. It really cool for the LED screen but that about it. IT AN ABSOLUTE unit but man once you put it down it not going anywhere. Also Zeal Clickiez while expensive are good sounding “clicky” switches (not that they were meant to sound good anyway). Hope to pick them up for a retro build eventually
@georgexander7170 ok... the fact remains one can still make a decent enough build for 100-200 these days and get abt as far as this. With how slow the market is and lots of instock parts a prebuilt gamer keyboard is basically plastic e-waste.
Can't go back to using one of those when anything else is better if a bit investment is put in. Just my 2 cents fyi 🙄
@George xander i see what you did there ...
Oh man Ken. I felt so bad buying the Mountain Keyboard that you guys had the on Austin channel. I could not spend over 1100 dollars on a keyboard. But glad it makes you happy
Was definitely not expecting to see Jeff Hardy pop up as the pfp for the person that made the lights lol.
ken pls tell me that the switches are pre-lubed and that is one of my dream boards but damn it costs a lot of $
I had a set of Novelkey's Aluve keycaps (same keycaps in a different color), and they were very nice. I won them in a giveaway; otherwise, I don't think they would be worth grabbing
Nice video
Will you be reviewing the pixel fold ?
Luke has my work keyboard setup 😂
How I wish you could buy this exact board pre assembled, absolutely love this thing, but I just don't see myself building a keyboard... Will stick with my K70 for now I guess!
You can
That's the most expensive keyboard build I've seen but it's pretty cool. You should have tried gaming with it though.
It looks really nice but at least through the video it doesn't sound all that different from my rk65 with creamy green switches and I think pbt keycaps
NGL that sounds really good
He really missed out on getting the Tecsee metal switches with this keyboard!
sold out :(
Is that the legendary Pokémon Latias on the keyboard’s screen?
Honestly I love hard keyboards and I've been considering getting myself a custom keyboard. I was thinking a nice heavy MX Brown or white for typing long stories like a typewriter.
the ASMR bit. Oh my god I love the sound of a good keyboard it's music to my ringing ears. (I have tinnitus really bad. D:)
I love meaty clicks and deep thunks. I want my keyboard to sound like it's an old board from the freaking 90's!
"nobody wants this thing." I will literally fight you 1v1 for this keyboard. lmfao
also the metal olivias is kinda cool but it is a waste of money if you are looking to add keycaps to your normal board
Neat Ken testing outrageous overpriced keyboard and happy about it cool!! Austin face of disapproval because he paid for it...... priceless 😂
I love me a metal keyboard
Bro that keyboard is almost more expensive then my pc 💀💀
Grab a set of GMK Houhai. Yes, Aluvia is nice.... but its not very loud. I use heavier springs, but its because of spring swap on my holy pandas.
loud as in colorway, not sound.
Might just be me, but I can't _stand_ clicky keyboards. Give me a near-silent cheap membrane keyboard any day.
Plenty of silent MX switches out there. Gazzew U4, for example, or WS Silent, are great examples of high quality silent tactiles.
I was fired from the keyboard factory. They said I wasn't putting in enough shifts😉
did my man put clicky switches in a $1k board?
Sparks fly!
Not gonna lie.. i really want one.. but it's actually more than the upgrades i want for my PC 🤣🤣
So disappointed you didn’t use metal switches
What mic did you switch to? Its rubbish. The DJI at the start sounded far better.
yo what is that mouse you're using man wtff😭
The group buys thankfully are getting shorter and shorter these days. LOL at the anger of the Clickez
$1100??? man i'm glad i bought a minty 1988 ibm model m (gray label) with a steel backboard and real buckling springs for $90.
Sooo, you got a kb you cant use due to shitty switches that cost you 130$...
Just change the switches, it will sound way better (sounds like shit right now), and your hands will thank you for that.
More over, that keyboard has a huge overheating issues so be carful using it .
and how you gonna see the led cuz its compliantly in wrong. or maybe your monitor can see that led . lol
They simply do not understand us
I'm so glad you go with clickies on a custom build. It's so rare to see premium clickies since everyone go linear or tactiles on premium goods
Literally nothing about that is "thocky." There's nothing wrong with that, it simply isn't.
Please check out more keyboard contents, you will move away from clickys
ill never understand the purpose of buying keybord thats almost as pricy as the computer......does look noice thoughh 👍🏿🤯
cyberboard is really the board if you wanna waste money on a screen and wireless charging in your keyboard
The "build my own keyboard" for way too much money has to be the most stupid trend the last couple years.
Budget
Use ceramic switches. They will feel much better and they are heavy so it will make your job of pressing keys a bit easier.
Who exactly is your target demographic? I would never buy a keyboard the cost of my PC. I am definitely not your demographic. I would love to meet the person that can drop $1100 on an input device what’s next a $700 mouse
:D
i want to have rich parents too omg
$1000 keyboard sounds like a $30 keyboard
first!
That sounds like garbage lmao
Lol would've been cool in 2021. Little late to the party my guy.
