    I just came across your video, since I want to start adding bows to baby hats I knit and donate to hospitals. Great video. Do you have a video showing how you attach the bow to a hat? That was what I’ve hoping to find during my search. I want to see a good way to secure it.

      Hi! I attached this bow to my Moss Stitch Hat, but that part is not shown on the video tutorial. I like to tack the bow down all the way around the edge, so that it is always laying nicely and not flopping around. I hope this helps!

    Gained a subscriber! I am new to knitting and want to make a few small things but I REALLY want to learn how to make a simple sweater for my hubby! Do you have any suggestions for a simple sweater for a man (medium size...he wears a 15-15 1/2 inch neck shirt.

    If you cast on an odd number, each row will start with a knit stitch and you don’t have to keep track where you are :).

    Love your videos!! Going to make this! Question, I want to somehow attach this to a cat collar. Or even use yarn to make a quick collar. Any ideas on how I can do this easily?

      Hi Jenn! If you want to attach it to an existing collar, I would suggest placing the knitted bow on the collar, then wrapping the yarn around both the center of the bow and the collar at the same time. To make your own collar, a long, narrow rectangle made of garter stitch or an i-cord should work for that. I hope this helps!

    Do we need to knit a band to tie or sew in an elastic ?
    Thanks

      Yes, to make this into a bow tie, you would either sew on a knitted band or a length of elastic to tie around the neck. Hope this helps!

    Hello I just wanted to say this is a great tutorial for beginners. I also have a question, does the slip tie knot count as a stitch or not?

    • @YayForYarn
      @YayForYarn  5 лет назад +1

      Hi! Yes, when you make a slip knot and place that loop on your needle, that counts as the first stitch. I hope this helps!
