@@pwrovr9k731 it became very political and the explanations and talking moments have increased by 10 times so details can slip off easily especially if you are trying to read the subtitles
Thats why i switched to the dub and i actually think the dub is really good and it makes it alot easier to understand

@@Zenssei I don't think that's the issue. The issue for me is the fact that I've been watching the show for 6 years and it's hard to remember the precise details of events from 6 months hell 3 years ago.
If you got confused by the arc in this season then boy don't even read this arc in the manga. Little did you know that this Uprising Arc was reorganized and made EASIER to understand in the anime

Look, it didn't need to be brought up. Because everyone already knew.
There were a few mistakes here.
5:50 - I don't know where 7 bloodlines came from. The ones we're told about are the Oriental clan (Mikasa's mother) and the Ackermans (Mikasa's father, Kenny, Levi).
6:20 - Nothing we know about the Founding Titan indicates that they're consumed by a "lust for power". That's definitely inaccurate. We do know that they inherit a "will" if they also have royal blood, and for whatever reason this "will" or ideology prevents the holder of the Founding Titan from helping humanity.
7:50 - We already know what the coordinate is. Remember in Season 2 when Reiner and Bertholdt make a remark about Eren having the coordinate after he controls the mindless titans? That's part of the Founding Titan's abilities

Sweevee Are you a manga reader? I think that 7 bloodlines thing was a translation error in one of the subs you watched. Because that was definately not in the manga.

The 7 bloodlines are part of the 9 ancient Noble families who inherited the Titan power from the originator Ymir fritz. The 7 bloodlines are outside the wall and can be considered the 'enemy' in the show. This proves humanity is not all doomed. As for the remaining two : the Ackermans and Reiss live within the walls.

Thank you man who thought it was a good idea to have season 3 part 1 and season 3 part 2 so far from each other.
The ability to wipe memories is known as the Coordinate btw, just fyi. The Coordinate ability also allows to control titans. The Coordinate = Founding Titan. Also Rod Reiss's true intention was to bring back "God" into the walls so that he could serve him. "God" referring to the 1st King of the walls.

I see that you might be wrong about one thing though, the titan syrum syringe thing turns people into Titans, not titan shifters. Just pure Titans. When and if that pure titan eats a titan shifter, can they be shifters themselves.

Aot has always displayed the theme of moral ambiguity. Every side thinks what they’re doing is right, while others may not. So you can’t simply label something bad and good in AOT.
