Man, I gotta say - Attack on Titan is pretty much like a one big parallel universe of World War II.
I love all of the World War 1/Great War aversions as well, it's a really neat way to use history as a story telling and delivery method.

I have mixed feelings about this season.. probably because the main characters didn't get enough screentime, and I can't really form any connection with the new characters. I kinda miss it when the story was simpler.
That's what I was thinking it was kind of hard to keep up with all the things that were happening

At 4:05 Reiner actually tries to share stories about the "devils" of Eldia but he can't. He only recounts Sasha eating too much. His family is shocked by the underwhelming "horror" stories of Eldia not the stories being scary.
That was my only issue with the video! I feel like it skimmed over how Reiner actually is torn between Eldia and Marley, and knows deep down they’re not so bad despite his previous indoctrination and facade he wears

Glad you enjoyed it! I think some of those videos are trying to remain spoiler free, which is a strange route to take in essentially what is a giant spoiler video as is. Though a lot of those videos are still really good in their own ways, I'm glad you enjoyed this one.
Man, I've been keeping up with the final season part 2, but after watching the last episode I could only think "I... think I need a recap."

This was well put together and not wordy in the slightest. It's about the length of an 1 episode yet smoothly covered all 16 episode. Instead of feeling like bullet point list for key plot points it felt like a short audio book. Kudos, I honestly feel ready to jump into part 2 now.
I can't believe we made it to the end. Reading the manga and thinking, "I can't wait to see this animated!" Seemed like it would never happen. Yet, here we are! Get ready for a wild ride anime only's.
It's crazy my own journey with this series. Got into the manga nearly from the beginning, read until just before what is now Season 2 Part 2, took years off, started again with the anime for Final Season Part 1. Just a crazy wild ride all around and I'm *really* glad to have rediscovered the series during this period in the story. Funnily enough, I started covering Attack on Titan on a whim, was never even planned for me but I did and now we're here. Also, one of my first ever videos was an Attack on Titan video.

I just have a question. Marley wanted to get the founding titan, and claim the natural resources in Paradis. But they brainwashed Reiner, Bertholdt and everyone else that if they got the founding titan, they would be saving the world, right?

i've always found the Jagerists massive plan to be super confusing, especially in the context of Marley launching their counterattack, Pieck faking being a Jagerists to attack Eren, and the Eldians just trying to figure everything out.

really liked the recap but one suggestion would be to work on the pronunciations of the names. Idk if you were basing it on the dubbed pronunciations but compared to the way they pronounce the names in the sub some were way off, like hange. still liked and appreciated the recap though!
Yeah it was super distracting that he pronounces MULTIPLE CHARACTERS names wrong. If it were just one that'd be one thing, but it's many. It's not even just characters. Paradis is not pronounced that way.
