I have a 1970 SS Monte Carlo as well. Just getting ready to start restoration on it. I bought it for my wife for her birthday. Can't wait to get it going. Great looking car.
I know no one will see this comment, but this is truly the most beautiful Monte Carlo I've actually seen that I'm assuming with factory colors. I've seen many many beautiful Monte Carlos and own several myself which were all beautiful in their own right. Black on red was perfect for that body style. The blue SS I had in the late '70s was always my favorite color-wise. And when I seen this combination I had to put it number one on top of what was originally my number one. Not sure if you got rid of it hope things worked out the way you needed them to. Hopefully wherever it's at the day it hasn't been half tore apart Street rodded, left in this truly beautiful condition.
Wow! That Monte is absoloutely PERFECT! Laser straight body, showcar gloss black paint, big block power...Way too nice for me, I'd be afraid to drive it. Fantastic car man. I hope you get what you want for it.

WHY did they present it with the trunk open the whole time?? As if that adds to the beauty of the car somehow. sheesh
