My dad brought me to a Runrig concert when I was a little kid. This was my favorite song. I would love to see them live again. It's weird to listen to this after all these years. Time really does fly.
Well, what do you know?!? It's my wee Pat! This is where it all began for me (my love affair with Runrig)--On the Stamping Ground. Thanks to my Chelsea-girl for discovering this brilliant band and bringing them into my life, my ears and my heart. Luvs from Mum! xxx Alba gu brath! Runrig ROCKS!
Somehow this feels rather appropriate tonight of all nights. I hope you're all partying away there north of the border. Tha mi fada thall, is duilich leam :-(
For jsmith: Tapadh leat for your kind comment and forgive me for being just a wee bit envious that you got to meet Malcolm, lol! My fave band member is Rory...I practically swoon when he sings in Gaidhlig, *sighs*! I just read that Malcolm is scheduled to undergo heart bypass surgery. May all Runrig fans join hearts in prayer for his swift and complete recovery.
I wish Mr Jones would play The Great Highland Bagpipe.... Put els... The electronic Gas thing He handle just as good.... Great Band I hope Malcolm Jones soon recover and comes back :-) Malcolm rules :-)
my dad grew up with Donnie, this is what I listen too when I need reminding of how good life is and why I love being Scottish 💙
