that has to be the absolute sharpest yellow truck i have ever seen , i never thought the W9 looked good in yellow but honestly that one does , and this is coming from a long time peterbilt owner ,,my personal truck is a 1977 359 custom heavy hauler ,,with 3 drive axles like the black KW you have ,mine however has a driven steer axle too meaning i have all wheel drive ,, former oilfield truck it spent 30 some years hauling oil rigs , i've had it for a bit over 10 years ,, when we get heavy snow here in iowa i can be found plowing snow as one of the few contractors for the DOT

As a aussie, that bumper is actually called a "BULL BAR" travelling in outback Australia it helps if kangaroos,camels, sheep run in front and the last min.

Nearly every off-roader and semi truck will have a big solid BullBar for protection in the country roads and outback etc.

its a nice truck but i have no use for it . but someone will really be happy to get it im 76 and was a heavy equipment tech for 22 years. i love your videos its been a while since i had a muscle car, last one i had was a 69 barracuda fastback with a 4 speed and426 hemi,that was a hard engine to stuff into the car, you did a really great job on the semi

Wow 😮 this truck is ridiculous not a big fan of the color yellow specifically on a big rig but this truck even looks aggressive and beautiful absolutely a piece of art love the yellow and black very clean looking!!!!! I run the C15 18- speed doing heavy haul fuel at 105500 lbs. Great motor for heavy haul. Only one better was our C16. Had to enter the drawing, just in case.

Dangit I miss my 76 Camaro RS Berlinetta. It was Tan with Tan interior with Tan vinyl roof covering. Original RS Rally wheels, Rear Spoiler and the dealer optioned rear window Louvers. Sold it in the early 90s and regretted it ever since. You never see an RS with the Berlinetta options especially with the color matched Vinyl roof covering.
Sounds like if Cleetus and Heavy D combined and it would have been that scene of Dave doing donuts lol

You cannot go 20,000 lb on that axle it's a 12,000 lb Axle just because you put big tires on it doesn't mean you can have the weight the axles not rated for it
If the axle is rated at 20000 lbs you can.
@@cajuntrucker8758 that axle is not rated for 20,000 lb they took the small tires off of it and put those on for looks that doesn't magically change the rating of the axle

You can put more weight on them if you’re permitted for heavy haul.

Hi Dave , in Aus we don't call that front bar a bumper/pushbar etc. Its known here as a bullbar on a sedan up to a prime mover like yours or tractor as I think you call them. Didn't know Herd exported their bars to the U.S though!

Im in week 2/4 of the CDL school at skyway trucking school in California right now, wish i had money to enter. Just scraping by trying to pay for gas and food to finish this school. Either way my life is about the change for the better. Keep up the great content, love the channel.
