Or option 3 you build a hydraulic power pack consisting of a motor, a pump, and a tank. Maybe a couple of valves. You take the power pack out to the machine hook hoses up to the valves and move the functions you need. Or you take the main pump hoses off the machine and connect them to the power pack pump.
My dad, brother and I did this with a 5.4 engine a month ago. Did it for a motor swap between a F250 and and Expedition. Truck was junk and the Expeditions original engine needed a full rebuild.
Can't say I agree with HEavy D's thinjking that anyone can flip these things. IOT takes having all the resources and knowledge available to accomplish the task.
I think in this situation we would agree that at this magnitude of getting a free excavator and repairing it for $2000 with a free motor. But what he is saying is find a cheap machine. Figure out how to repair it and resell it. I have done it with free TV’s turning a $400 profit for repairing them. Friend have turned a $1500 forklift into a $10000 forklift by some simple repairs.
You just need $200k semi, $50k trailer, $20k forklift, and another $80k excavator to install the engine and deal with transportation… it is that simple anyone can do it.
@@SparksMotorsCo LOL. In the heavy machinery world, 20k is scrap prices, and you'd have more in getting the machine moved than it's worth, much less repair costs. Although where I work would disagree, refusing to replace a $6k radiator in our loader, as it's "cheaper to buy another machine", and after 6 months they found us a second loader, apparently sitting in a shed()they apparently hadn't taken a look inside in 6-9 months) out back of a company we'd bought out, that they then sent our way.
Since I started watching you, I have always thought you were crazy for owning venomous snakes to really seeing what you see in all your reptiles and looking at them at how beautiful they are my granddaughter comes over and wants to watch you and tyler and she is 4 . Sorry for Kevin's passing

I would like to say I had a lot go in me until I fell 13’ onto a concrete floor on my head breaking 9 ribs 5 of them in the back and now are metal . Then 5 years later I got into a car accident and now have a hip replacement and a knee replacement and my foot has metal in it to all my right side so when you say you just got to get out there and hustle I wish I could but just can’t do it anymore
16:00 in, Look at that mess, Damn, to clean that correctly is going to suck... Hopefully, they will clean it the right way and will not let all of that get into the dirt somewhere.
You can pull an engine out really fast if the vehicle is never going to be run again as a vehicle again. The #1 tool needed is a cutting torch. Ask me how I know.
I have about 275 license plate in us out of us from UK Australia. But I don't have money to ship them all.had them for years. Planned on doing a project with them but got busy😂
When you need someone to do something quickly you trick them into racing the clock I can't believe they didn't see that old trick lol but good job regardless
Meh, junkyards pull them faster, with a fork assemply that pins the vehicle down, and a cutting blade that chops the engine out. Not necessarily that it's ever going to run again due to the extraction method.
You guys put alot of faith in that 1 ratchet strap! 😮😂
Enthusiasm & young blood leads to quick success with valuable returns- of course ,Heavy D leading the way...Amazing teacher ! Gan, Durban
Those boys did great. Don’t let OSHA stop by

Great work guys
I like what you created, Dave. But let's get real. No average person can make money like you said. Not many have a spare engine to just toss in.
We started my dads 73 F250 with a screwdriver for years. :)
My favorite part was all the PPE XD
Those Boys were Fricken Rippen on the Removal . . .

Awwww hell… for a trip to sizzler I’d go pull that motor
the fat ruck with the winch would be cool to take out the Moter and put a new one in and also have the fat truck with the welder skid
Service motor and trans..! Replace injectors and flush your cooler and cooler lines....!!! You should be good to go my brother...!!!!😃😁🤘🏻

That's a chop shop with a title right there every back yard in America is doing the same thing!!!! lQQl some with out the title's like on Fakebook!!
No mess in the shop! Lol!
I think you need a flatbed for your M1075A1 so you can haul heavy equipment out from inconvenient areas. I'm guessing it will haul 60,000lbs easily!
Was escavator touching his 'boom' ???
you guys are awesome
Saludos 🇨🇷.
Awesome job
It’s never an Issue if you find great solution’s involving Time Management.
Great job guys, looks like steaks tonight 🤣🤣🤣🎉🎉🎉🎉❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
🇺🇸
Cool
Why is it....that during the scene when it sorta started, and Hans gets BLASTED with smoke....all I could think was.....NOSFERATU?
Nah, bub, try a can . You'll never go back to polaris. you'll crush it with an excavator 😂😂
When you need someone to do something quickly you trick them into racing the clock I can't believe they didn't see that old trick lol but good job regardless
I wish I had known about that service truck. I would’ve purchased it.
You still can !! Just needs a motor :) So it's cheaper now !!
Lazy eye ranch. Is I ain't lazy it just don't want to work😂
WHERES HANS AND THE CHECK BOOK😂😂😂😂😂😂❤
What a mess! These kids just destroyed everything lol
That's what we call a junkyard strip.
I see you guys have never pulled an air cooled VW motor, that can be done in under half an hour 🤣
As to the question at 3:37, the answer is….YES.

Top 20 🎉😊
Dang did ya'll get a new camera?
No Hans, time is literally NOT ticking. It hasn't gone into the shop.
You said "Do whatever you need to do on the way to the shop", they did it all before it got in the shop, zero minutes!
Hands, your buying dinner tonight!

Blown gaskets
Excavator….or escavator……?
Not the second one…
HANS no steak dinner time was to start when they got the truck into the shop. that did not happen so time never started no soup for you
What is the channel name of those young kids..
That's why we can't have a nice parking lot. But you can tell their age by not caring about the mess they are making in the parking lot.
😮
This is how you spell excavator
nope, i just removed an engine by myself in 1.5 hours this weekend.
Why does Hans always end up blasted with exhaust?
I definely could have done it in 1hr no mess at all
They didn’t sell you guys asphalt they sold you cold patch it will never harden! That’s why your forklift got stuck!
Depends where your from, ex is how i do
🇺🇸
Meh, junkyards pull them faster, with a fork assemply that pins the vehicle down, and a cutting blade that chops the engine out. Not necessarily that it's ever going to run again due to the extraction method.
why cant you do more of this stuff, taking engines out or rescuing big rigs, the stuff you used to do!
at my end of the world running lean is more likely to get it hot
Oops 😂
