- Pontianak is a city in Western Kalimantan, Borneo.
This city is crossed by a river, the longest in Indonesia, which is an important waterway as well as part of the life of the city.
The city has a commercial and industrial economy. There are many hotels with conference rooms. A University with courses focused on economy and management.
A museum focused on Indonesian culture and Heritage.
Every Indonisian city still has a king, hence we visited the King's Palace.
There are different cultural and religious communities, with local masques, Protestant and Catholic churches.
We were able to visit the cities, try local food, experience the life, thanks to a group of boys and girls we were fortunate enough to become friends with.
