Awesome vid for people just now trying to buy a PS vita. Just bought my second vita, and I was lucky enough to snatch a Japanese 3g model for 95 bucks on eBay. It even came with insurance for a year since I bought it from an eBay refurbished seller.
Great video, very well put together. I recommend going to a pawn shop to pick up a good vita cheap, at least in my experience. Just recently picked up a ps vita 1100 for $80, even came with a shell case, carrying case, 4gb memory card, and the charger of course. Console is in excellent condition too.
I would say you got pretty lucky... I go to dozens of pawnshops all the time, in the past 3 years I have seen a total of 3 Vitas in a pawnshop, 2 in beat up condition and 1 overpriced, all with no accessories.
Would anybody know if Id get banned if I use a modded psvita and sync trophies? I’m a trophy hunter and a lot of people have mixed opinions or statements saying that you would get banned or you wouldn’t
Here's my $0.02- The Vita has better games, so many Indy gems, but using the tiny sticks sucks. The 3DS is soo much better as a portable due to its very pocket friendly clamshell design. Both can emulate their predecessors (DS & PSP) as well as a handful of older consoles. The 3DS is easier to manage with custom firmware, I'll let children in the family hold onto it, while the Vita with CFW feels like it has fewer safeguards preventing a couple accidental button presses from causing trouble... I'd recommend a modded 3DS if you value portability the most, also if you're not looking for specific games and you don't mind the single "slide-stick" (I personally love the slide-stick) there are great games on the 3DS also, with and without the stylus/ second screen. The Vita is 100% where it's at for shooters (especially twin-sticks as the 3DS only has one stick to begin with) and incredible Indy games you still can't play anywhere else in 2025. I wouldn't recommend either of them without custom firmware (hacked/ jail broken) unless you're a collector of physical media and want to carry your cartridges with you... Now I'm looking for a Vita TV so I can play with a real controller.
I have a PS Vita Slim. Now I am wondering which memory card should I get. Will a 16GB memory card be enough for the following games? The games listed below will be physical copies not digital. 1. Little Big Planet PS Vita Version 2. Modnation Racers Road Trip 3. Killzone Mercenary 4. Resistance Burning Skies 5. Uncharted Golden Abyss
PSVita will be forever a thing. Sony won't release a new PSVita 2, so you can buy one even in 2024, even later. Sony saw how bad they failed with portables, and they wont make a return. So don't wait for a new handheld from Sony, get a PSVita ASAP. It's a legendary console. The prices are getting higher everyday.
Got my vita at a garage sale for $20 around a decade ago, and now it's finally time to play it again. Thanks for the video!
Nice👍
great video very informative and helpful. Editing/production and statistics made me think you alr had 100k+ subs. appreciate you keeping it short.
Thanks👍

What the condition like? :)
Oh boi, this channel is hella underated. Good stuff my man you've earned a sub.
Thank you👍
I paid $250 for a near mint vita, complete in the box.
Can’t wait to mod it!
Nice👍
I paid 120, just a small birthday gift because I didn’t wanna spend too much, but I wonder how different ours will be in quality.
That's a good birthday gift 👍
@@Senpai_Kush would be interesting to see.
Mine has the protective plastic on the back from when it was originally packaged lol.
@@LazyFaux5656 mine came in mint condition but it was refurbished to the max. New case, joysticks and all. Pretty insane for the price
Thanks you saved my butt I'm getting the 1000 now❤❤❤❤❤
Glad I could help👍

I’ve been using a modded vita for like a year and half no issues here
@@jamesmoucheron4799I just bought a 2000 model any recommendations
US has no import fees until you reach $800.
Oh, I see, maybe thays why the listing say " May be subject", thanks for the info👍
Really? That's insane. Brazil has a $50 limit and for regular people even that won't matter as a complaint can lead to your item being "misplaced"

bro just mod it and get so much more storage and get as many games as you want

@@djblackshadow22 vita is also like 400 dollar cheaper, what is this comparison lmaoo
@@MiguelMorales-ny3xd i mean its 2024 vita is old and useless comparing to new handhelds you can play anything from console games to pc games
@@djblackshadow22
I just saw the prices for a PSP Vita. F that.
I think I'll be going for a Steam Deck.
@@djblackshadow22you completely missed the point, but you do you and enjoy that beast of a handheld pc.
❤
Just buy a switch
The Switch is always a good buy, but the Psvita is also worth collecting.
Dude don't dis the Vita till you have one. If you have one how many of those Vita games do you play on your switch?
Ive had both, the screen is bigger so it is better on the Switch but I still preferred the Vita for it's form factor and modability.
Just buy Steam Deck how about that?
