- Not all Kia EV6 accessory trays are made equal! The EV6 armrest storage is deep so a tray is convenient for small items and easy access, but one version causes a problem and should be avoided. In this video I show you the correct version to buy so you can avoid spending money for nothing like I initially did.

I have had my 2023 EV6 Wind for three weeks. I ordered the CDEFG center console, and it did not fit. The lid will not close completely. I think that there must be a difference in the center console sizes from 2022 to 2023. Naturally this result cast doubt on this recommendation. After checking the reviews on Amazon, I see NOW that several people have commented that the CDEFG tray does NOT allow the lid to close completely as indicated in this video. I normally check the reviews, but I was so excited about my new car, I forgot to check this time. Lesson to self has been reinforced, ALWAYS check the reviews before buying ANYTHING……
I am sorry that the tray has changed since making this video. I will put a note in the link to verify the fitment. This is why I hate no-name products that are made in China 😕

Thought I had the bad one since it had black silicone pads, but I couldn't recall anything that annoyed me. Luckily it turns out I have the good one.

Excellente vidéo, je vais devoir vérifier si le mien, acheté avant d'avoir mon auto le 1 avril, est le bon. Sinon je vais le fraiser . . . légèrement avec mon outil rotatif de sculpteur sur bois le fameux Ram Power 45. Mais à date je n'ai pas entendu de couicoui même si le fit n'est pas parfait. Merci André pour cette vidéo, je suis présentement sur une liste d'attente pour l'achat de la EV6 Gt-Line 2, je vais surement l'obtenir d'ici à 24-25 LOL, je n'ai même pas plus seulement faire un essai routier, je trouve ça malheureux que Kia ne dispose d'aucun démonstrateur.

Hi John, I am going to be make a video about wheels and tires pretty soon. I am working on 2 accessory videos right now though. I loved my experience with Fast Wheels, an amazing Canadian wheel manufacturer, so I will be buying 18" Fast but I still don't know which model. As for tires, my experience with Nokian has been amazing so far, but with new EV winter tires coming out in the last 2 years I have a bit of research to do. I may go with the Nokian Hakkappelitta 10EV, but I don't think they make a version without studs. I will be reading about it soon.
@@EV-olution There is a new series of Hakkapeiitta R5 EV in 255/45R20 in other sizes they are called R5 SUV . Apparently they are now available in in Canada.
I'm going to call a nearby KAL Tire dealer to chat about it and 255 vs 235 width . Probably save over $800 per set moving to a smaller tire and wheel rim.
Thanks. I have heard about the R5 but have not read about it yet. I suggest dropping to an 18" wheel and tire for winter. You will save a ton of money and have better traction in the snow with a more narrow tire.

Does it come with different colour options, it would be nice to match the blue on the dash?

Purchased the one you recommend. Once it's installed, it's REALLY difficult to remove to access underneath storage area. Any remedies come to mind? Thanks for nicely done video!
Thank you very much. I had not had any issues removing mine, by grabbing it by the edge where the coin holder is, until last week where it took a serious amount of force to pull out. I may make a modification to add a pull knob in the center. Easy enough, just drill a small hole, use a washer, a bolt or screw, and a very small "handle". Details to be determined.

@@EV-olution I'm surprised how much stuff has to be changed between lhd and rhd. Had a few peugeots and they've got less and less that had to change
@@GaryBuck I had not thought about it until you mentioned it. That's why I pinned your comment. I find it strange that Kia would not make the opening symmetrical in order to use the same part for both lhd and rhd.

I do not know. You would have to do a search on Amazon that you use to see if "CDEFG Center Console Organizer Tray for 2022 2023 Kia EV6" is available. I have a link to the Canadian Amazon listing, maybe you can change the .CA to whatever you use in your country and see if it shows up.
