Hey Cinemassacre guys, thanks for checking the game out! I'm Nick, the programmer behind Abobo's Big Adventure and I can't tell you how much fun it is to watch people like you play the game and actually connect with it in such a genuine way. We made this game for our generation that grew up in the 80s and for whom the NES was a huge part of our lives. It really is our love letter to an era and it looks like it was extremely well-received by you two.
If you ever want to get together and collaborate on something, I think I can speak for Roger and Pox in saying we'd love to do it!

Eduardo Robles a lot of that has to do with the choice of the game , I only discovered it last week thanx to them and I've put several hours in it since, such a fun parody to play for people our age and others too.

I was hoping the ending involved landing the plane from Top Gun.
Now they need a sequel with Aboboy rescuing his dad based on the SNES
I think there is more to explore in the nes world like castlevainia levels jackal 1943 and on and on
1:23 he throws Dr.Wily on the wall and explodes and they don't even mention it?
CORRECTION: This is the best James and Mike Mondays so far. It's a bold statement, I know, but I believe this is a tribute to everything and everything that Cinemassacre stands for. Amazing episode. I never laughed so hard, and I wish I was right there with them for that experience. lol

That -little- Big Mac is such a pain in the ass but with a little bit of patient and practice he can be defeated and when you beat that M.F. I can't describe the feeling of accomplishment, is like what James said: (...) I'm just like numbed (...)
Damn I have to give it another try to see what else I can find.
BTW in the double dragon stage where you fight the Lindas if you walk between the pipes in the right wall (in front of the elevators) you will go up and find a weird secret room.

Before the internet existed, all our game news and tips came from kids at recess. This is the kind of game kids would have lied about existing because there was no way to find out for sure. "And the final boss is Little Mac and you punch his head off and it gets impaled on Mario's flagpole." Yeah right...

I think one of them characters in the balloon fighting stage was aerator or something it was a Nintendo game I remember it was like a little robot on like a sled I forgot the darn name of it I think it was called or something Fortress I don't remember

A great two parter! This is one of the most awesome fan-games I've ever played, a total blast and insane journey in it's own right.

One of the best episodes so far definetely. The game is something beyond awesome. Such a trip for Nes-fanatics like you and me. Didn't see many characters that I didn't recognize, and my reactions were about the same as yours. :D James has a very interesting style playing with the keyboard. Respects for beating the game without a gamepad. As someone who's played around with emulators in the days before pc-gamepads were common I can tell from experience that playing these kinda games with a kbd isn't the most natural thing in the world.

Talk about an epic adventure through the NES classics. It is pretty apparent from this game that the developers had a true passion for the NES. James and Mike's candid appreciation for the experience is testament to that.

This video (and the last one) was brilliant, you can tell they were having so much fun.
When I saw Clark Griswold at the end, I laughed my ass off.
Plus you guys unlocked a level that gives an ever further tribute to the generation we grew up in involving the Never Ending Story.
Really great game, only adverse thing I can state is the Pox individual who helped make some of the pixel Art, though talented, is a total egotistical git, but just like some of our famous musicians, meeting someone can, in person change one's opinion of them, no matter how skilled they are.
Still, this is a damn solid tribute, a roller coaster of nostalgia.
Been a while since I met him, who knows maybe he's a bit more personable.
Why don't you guys get a USB NES controller for some of these games on PC?
I think Mike mentioned last week that he had one but didn't know where it was (or was bored to go looking for it).
Or change the input at the very least.

As someone who played and loved this game on new grounds when it came out, it fills me with a boyish flew to see them enjoy it
