True, you can’t back up, but if you pull into the wrong place or get in a jam, you can unhook her and let Allison follow you to an easier place to re-hitch. (Yep, voice of experience)😜 So glad y’all are back on the road and ready. That’s a really nice hitch set up.❤️ Stay safe and enjoy! Jane in SC ❤️🙏🏻
Truth. Luckily it's super easy to unhook, so it shouldn't be too horrible if/when it happens 🤞😅 Glad to know other people have to do the same thing from time to time lol!
For long trips/multiple days, make a check list for these older vehicles! Before leaving EACH DAY check: water/radiator, oil, tire air pressure (inside dually) and all lights before leaving campground! The old engine tech will serve you well, but it is NOT hands off!
Mirrors next? You have to be able to see Ruby. Remember the retired couple that almost burnt a national park to the ground because they couldn't see the flat on their toad? The rim was sparking, catching the extremely dry grass along the road. They were find hundreds of thousands for the damage.
We have an always-on backup camera that points directly at Ruby, so we have eyes on the little gal the whole time. What a horrible situation for those RVers! 😦
Hey Ya'll, I had a crap week but your video made it all better. I'm so ready to go with you, Clementine and Ruby on this Endless Adventure to all 50 states. Buckle up Buttercups!

At least...that's what we tell ourselves when we realize the great big adventure we're about to embark on haha. Congrats on starting the new journey!
So glad to see you guys on the road again, I can't wait! We hate that you've gone through so many issues to get to this point, but you guys keep it real so we know the smiles and good times are real too. thanks for bringing us along on your adventure, look forward to seeing you on the road!
The picnic table set is such a good idea, I never would have thought of that. It's plastic too so if you make a mess you can easily just wipe it down and be on your way
I’m excited for you!! Next stop for maintenance....perhaps get an awning for some shade. It would also give you a sort of “porch” to keep rain off as you go in and out of Clementine. Happy trails....we’ll all be right there with you.💖 🚚 🚗
We've been looking into getting one installed. We just need to figure out a shop along our every-changing route. 😅 But we're definitely hoping to add one soon!
I’m so glad you guys are driving extra safe, with all the places you’re going and the older vehicles. Safe travels! Also, don’t forget the extinguisher grenades if you haven’t got them yet. Here’s looking at you! 👋🍀🌅
So exciting. Can't wait to see your adventures. Unfortunately, your Durango might be mouse infested when you return. Those storage units can have a lot of rodents live in them. I would recommend putting glue traps out and asking friends for family to check the traps. Be safe and good luck!!!!!!
Definitely don’t do glue traps! Super inhumane. As long as the windows are up and doors are closed all that would be needed at most is a checkup under the hood before starting it up and driving home
Glad y’all chose M&G for tow setup! Our pre to set up is to have a spotter beside our toad to ensure lights working and watch the jeeps wheels turn freely. Protects your investment. Out of at least 100”hookup process” we have had 1 time the wheels did not disengage, standing by and watching those wheel turn is a safety check. Congratulations on towing!
Congratulations on starting your huge epic road trip! You’ve worked long and hard to get to this point! You should be proud of yourselves for the perseverance and dedication you’ve put in to get here! Way to go!! Very safe travels! Can’t wait to see what’s next!
Positive vibes Y'all. i'm excited, nervous, jealous and overall so ready for this journey. stay safe. As always you guys make it look so easy and enjoyable.
If you're rolling through Missouri I recommend beagle bay r.v Park! The showers and steam room are amazing! Free laundry, and a pool, plenty of big shade trees too😁 I'm staying there now and the host is super nice! Full hookups!
Glad everything with Ruby went well. Good luck on your trip. Can't wait to see the footage of all the states. Best wishes from Northern Ontario, Canada
Yay!! We’re so happy for y’all finally hitting the road in clementine! We know it’s been a long tough journey but all worth it! Now have the best time of your lives seeing al 50 states!
I'm so happy for the both of you it's finally happening life on the road. Best of luck on your travels can't wait to see all the great places you visit in the upcoming videos 👍🏻 🥃
Guys...guys...please tell me you peeled off the plastic protective cover over the Blue Ox logo on your tow bar. If you haven't done that yet, please make a slow-mo shot of you peeling it off because it's so damn satisfying. PLEASE!!!
Congrats on the official beginning with Clementine and Ruby. Loved Allison's apology to her future self, so funny. Blessings on smooth, easy, and fun travels ahead.
the wait has been worth it. I love your set up with Ruby and clementine and wish you safe travels and thank you for taking us all on the trip with you.
You’re doing something I’ve dreamt of doing all of my life. I’m 61 and I’m not gonna ever be able to do it. Thank you for letting me go along with you to see all the places there are to see. ❤️
It's! Gonna! Be! So! Awesome! So stoked for you kids to get rolling. I feel like you need to have a sweet 70's music playlist as you're cruising around. Yay! Have so much fun!
Oh that's a great idea!! We always listen to 90s rock in the Suzuki, so we should definitely get our 70s on in the RV 🎶 And dudes, we are beyond stoked to be at this point finally! 🥳

Came for the rv build in the beginning. Stayed for the rest!!! Love the intro’s. Seems like something new every week. Love your energy love of life. Thanks for sharing.
So happy that y'all are finally getting to enjoy the fruits of your labor and have a home! The only thing that I would've suggested before you left Dallas, seeing as you're going up to Missouri anyway, would be that you take Amtrak back to Austin, get Durango, drive it to Dallas, pick up Clementine and Ruby and drive to Missouri, so that you have Durango in Missouri.
Have you ever thought about posting a movie list ? Every once in a while you guys mention one and we have found them to be pretty darn good... Travel Safe, keep the dirty side down on that sweet rig of yours.
Your very first video you posted when you bought Clementine popped up on my YT recommended list right after you posted it and I've been following you ever since! So happy to see you on your maiden voyage! I watched the Travel Beans latest video and was happy to hear that they may be joining you soon. Safe travels!

I'm already ready to binge watch yalls travels! Also, Allison, you're holding out on us with not letting us know where you shop! Your outfits are always so cute! The white shirt and red skirt 😍
Guys good luck on your journey and adventure. Happy travelling. Some advice when not towing reverse park that rig. It will be alot easier getting out and in. Plus it's a lot safer.
So pleased for you both, to be able to eventually, get on the road proper, for your 50 state adventure.Been a loooooong time coming..Your patience is amazing.... Well done guys.
So excited to watch this new adventure y’all are jumping into! We learn so much as new Full Time RVers by watching your videos. Hope to meet you someday!
You can back up with the help of a 2 dollar bungee. You wrap it around the steering wheel of ruby. As you back the wheel will turn and the bungee brings the steering wheel back to straight.
Just a quick comment on something you guys might want to consider is an Rv specific gps for your travels and also a tire pressure monitor system both are life savers and give you peace of mind, I recently made a sixteen state, 6500 mile trip from Florida, out to California and back, safe travels !
So fantastic setup we actually deliver motorhomes across North America. We tow behind all of them a 2007 Toyota Yaris called Tryna because she trying to make it to this state and trying to make it up that mountain and.. Because 337,000 MILES and the Florida sun has completely removed all of the clear coat so it's just spray painted black... We wanted to mention make sure you write down somewhere the amount of miles that you drag it because those still count against your tire rotation... Rotate your tires every 5,000 miles. I can't wait to see more of your adventures...
A. You're right about the heat so put some retractable awnings on both sides... B. Get a new after market steering wheel it makes it feel so much better driving it. C. Have fun safe travels 👍 👍
If you want to boost your Suzuki's gas mileage to over 30mpg change your engine oil over to Mobil one full synthetic and use the recommended Mobil one or K&N synthetic oil filter, also change all of your running gear oil over to 75-90 royal purple synthetic gear lube( front axle, rear axle, transmission and transfer case),my 87 Samurai uses the same gear oil in all the gear cases but check your owners manual to verify if your newer model uses the same, you'll get better mileage, smoother operation, more felt power and cooler operating temps. This oil change over is not cheap but in the long run its pays back dividends! The gear boxes will never have to ever be changed again and the motor is a only once a year thing. This made a huge improvement in my 87 JX.
haven't been in touch with ur channel for some time..... But the moment I saw the title of the video, I was like I should definitely invest my time on it.... finally!!! after months of time, work invested on RV!!!! lets go!!!!
The set up looks great. You two put a lot of hard work into getting it done. Glad you finally get to start your journey. Hopefully you'll get to the cooler weather. It's nice and cool in CT for now. Kim and Vinny in CT
I would make sure to get a better lock on that storage unit. Preferably a u-lock that can’t easily be cut with bolt cutters and make sure the storage unit has cameras and will actually contact you if something happens. We put a car in storage in sterling Colorado for only three months and by the time we came back someone had broken our lock, put their OWN lock on the unit, and once we broke that lock off and got inside we found that they had tried to hotwire the car. The only reason they couldn’t steal it was because it was already broken down (which is why it was in storage). The storage unit never even called us about the break in and by the time we got there the camera footage was no longer available.
Hello guys! I believe nomadic fanatic on you tube has the same type of system and pulls a small car. He has a way to set it up that allows him to back up. Just thought this may help. Good luck! Love your videos! Please be safe and have fun!!
@@Theendlessadventure God bless your travels around America. I'm stuck in Japan this year, and can't go out in our American 1998 Ford C-Class RV parked in the sun at my brother's back drive-way in CA.
Love your videos, your adventures are really exciting...I am 76 and just bought a camper just like your only smaller, 1997 Isuzu. I live in New Zealand 🇳🇿 but don't have the big outdoors like you have in USA and most of the land here belongs to indigenous Moari, they are not generous in sharing their land with RVers or campers,, 😕 but I'm determined to go out on adventures...I enjoy your videos and I'm learning a lot, love the idea of towing your little red car...keep your videos flowing 😃
As someone who regularly tows a catering trailer which is not a standard trailer I always check up on where I'm going before I drive into somewhere. I even pull up and nip in on foot to do a recce. As long as its flat its pretty easy to manipulate the trailer myself when unhooked but reversing that thing can get interesting in some locations. There's no shame doing a quick check on foot before driving in.
You can back up with that system by hooking up a bungee to the steering wheel. Nomadic Fanatic shows how to do it in one of his videos. He backs up his smart car all the time.
I am sure you know this already, but if you can, book any holiday weekend ASAP. So many campgrounds(at least when I was growing up and going camping every weekend) can book up to a year in advance for holidays.
I love watching your adventures… I’m actually getting sooo excited to see this BIG upcoming adventure though! Love from Bristol, UK! (Yes I watched your adventure when you were here too! Seeing you guys drive on the ‘wrong side’ for the first time was perfection!)

So cool rubys hooked up now this trip will be epic. That stir fry looked yummy.Great share awesome channel 🙂👍
The set up looks great. You two put a lot of hard work into getting it done. Glad you finally get to start your journey. Hopefully you'll get to the cooler weather. It's nice and cool in CT for now.

Back on the road again. 👍🥰
make sure to put the transfer case in neutral and the trans in second. That's how you flate tow samurais. I know because I own one.👍😁
So exciting to see you gyus on the road again
Y’all should get some fans for the front while y’all are driving. Least when you have to stop you’ll still have a breeze. It really helps.
Soooo excited for you guys! Everything is coming together!! Looking forward to zany times ahead! ❤️
Hello guys! I believe nomadic fanatic on you tube has the same type of system and pulls a small car. He has a way to set it up that allows him to back up. Just thought this may help. Good luck! Love your videos! Please be safe and have fun!!
Sweet, can’t wait to follow your adventures around the US. I’ve always wanted to see the sites in America and now travelling with you guys I can❤️
Awesome! We're so excited to take you everywhere with us!
I love your adventure. I'm really looking forward to watching the new journey.
I love the table cloth set too! It makes it look so inviting. Plus matches Clementine!
Right?! I (Allison) was so excited when I found the set 🧡
YAY - be safe and congratulations
As someone who regularly tows a catering trailer which is not a standard trailer I always check up on where I'm going before I drive into somewhere. I even pull up and nip in on foot to do a recce. As long as its flat its pretty easy to manipulate the trailer myself when unhooked but reversing that thing can get interesting in some locations. There's no shame doing a quick check on foot before driving in.
Looking forward to the Adventures ahead.
God bless you as you start your USA trip. Stay safe. Walk in Peace.
I love watching your adventures… I’m actually getting sooo excited to see this BIG upcoming adventure though! Love from Bristol, UK! (Yes I watched your adventure when you were here too! Seeing you guys drive on the ‘wrong side’ for the first time was perfection!)
So excited for you guys!! I still stand by my suggestion of using your grill compartment door for stickers as you collect them on your drive.
😉🏔🏖🏜🏞🌉🛣
Can't wait to see your adventure unfold!
Ahhh so exciting to see you two back on the road with all the trials and tribulations! Can’t wait to see your adventures in the near future 😁
The hook up looks really nice. And I’m looking forward to seeing your new travels! Hopefully the Beans can join you down the road!
Hi guys, I am from South India 🇮🇳 ( Andhra Pradesh). I really like your videos and Best off luck for your 50 States road trip.I hope it will go good and God bless you with this adventures trip.
Howdy y'all👋☺
So happy you two are on your way! Hoping the AC is working well for you in all this heat? 🌬
Because now it's time for you to breathe & relax & enjoy this adventure!
Question, which is most advantageous for you with regard to joining the Channel? With a membership, or coming on as a patreon supporter? Please advise!👈👍💜💙
Not far behind you. Gonna upload another video tonight and hopefully see y'all out there on the road sometime! Good luck and have fun!
Yay to finally getting to hit the road! Safe travels! ❤
That braking system is great. Plus being so simple to disconnect if you do have to back up Clementine it won't be so difficult to do
I am pretty convinced after watching all your videos for years that you could just film a silent video and I would watch it can be entertained I can't wait to watch the whole video you just made for us to watch
Hahaha, don't give us any ideas... 😶
@@Theendlessadventure 🤣🤣🤣
I’m so excited for you guys! I remember watching a really early video of yours where you were in an airport, you had hardly any money and no prospects but just look at you now!
So all of your projects are done (for now), Ruby and Clementine are ready….
Time to hit the road!
Where are you going to first?
When will you be in the New England states?
Any plans to visit Florida, like the Palm Beach area?
Wherever you go, just have fun!
FYI "tow vehicle" is the vehicle used to tow a travel trailer. A "towed vehicle" or "toad" is the vehicle you tow behind your rv
Nice video!
Keep enjoying the adventure!
Bon Voyage kiddos! Jealous but I live vicariously through you!. It's been a lot of work and effort to get here, so now enjoy the next part of the journey! Easier said than done in the heat though!
