    Hey, do you just leave the second tray at the bottom?
    The instructions say take it off completely and store it. But I was hoping there was an option to leave it on. Thanks

    I have felt that if I dig a hole, bury that first bit of food, the compost, it’s not drying out. Microbes are aquatic, they won’t climb up on top of a banana peel, so something fully covering it well, the microbes can move, to make that not even a step, I bury the bit of feed, I am feeding my worms. That way I can move them to one spot and harvest also, but dry spots in decomposition, is a spot not being broken down

      Yer, that's true,,needs moisture, warmth and oxygen,,good point...under a blanket works for me.

    I bought the 3 tray maze, I’m wondering how you use the 3rd tray now 😄

    • @martysgarden
      @martysgarden  Год назад

      You can put the tray on top with a tiny bit of bedding to entice the worms from the bottom before harvest. If you want to learn faster more consider becoming a worm wrangler and access the courses on this channel. Thanks Marty
